The Spectrum Grill is located within the XFINITY Live! sports bar complex in Philadelphia. XFINITY is located in between Citizen's Bank Park which is the home of the Philadelphia Phillies, then there's the Wells Fargo Center which is the home of the 76'ers and the Flyers, and then the Lincoln Financial Center which is the home of the Eagles. Inside XFINITY Live are half a dozen restaurant and bar options, and the Spectrum Grill is the upscale dining choice for high-end cuisine. My business partner is a season ticket holder for the Flyers, and so with a few well-placed phone calls we had reservations for the Grill and then VIP seating for viewing the game on the 32-foot high def, freakin' awesome Jumbotron TV. The Spectrum Grill is a very elegant white-tablecloth dining spot, and the savvy Philly sports fans will notice the wall decoration is the original 76'ers center court logo which was painted onto the hardwood, and then saved to hang on the wall inside the Grill. You'll see a replica of the Stanley Cup, and around the corner the gift shop has some of the original boards & glass from the Spectrum's hockey games. The menu is a high-end mix of steaks, chops, and fish specials along with a wide variety of soups, salads, appetizers, and sandwiches. There's a nice wine menu, a terrific selection of bottled craft-brewed beers, and a complete bar with classy martinis, Cosmo's, and other mixed drinks and shots. This is an elegant, yet still casual, place to have a very nice dinner before walking over to one of the stadiums / arenas, or just staying within the XFINITY complex and watching the sporting events on the big screen.

Beef brisket spring rolls are awesome....but otherwise everything else is pretty average all things considered. The deal breaker is they just can't cook a steak right. Three of us ordered steaks all medium rare and when they came out they were ALL well done, which is inexcusable. And the final kick to the nuts? No beer on tap!!

The last time we ate at the Xfinity Live Center it was a disaster, so I was a little nervous to get dinner here. This time we opted to try the Spectrum Grill and it actually worked out pretty well. We ended up not waiting too long for a table and our waitress was decent. She was a little slow with the water service, but was very careful with my food allergies and made sure my fries came out plain (apparently all of their fries have parmesan cheese, which is something I would have never thought of - but as soon as I told her about my dairy allergy, she picked right up on it and told me she'd make them suitable for me). My burger was cooked well and I thought they had a nice little beer selection. Next time we come back down to the stadiums, I think this may be our grub spot.

Me and my hubby came here to grab dinner before a concert at citizens bank park and we're not disappointed. We sat at the bar and the bartenders were awesome!! So attentive and friendly. Our food was delicious. So glad we came in.

We went prior to the Bruce Springsteen Concert. The restaurant had a special pre-concert menu advertised for $44 per person. The place was packed and the service was terrible. The steak was fatty and not very good. When the bill came they had charged us $45 per person. It is very dark in the restaurant and most people probably wouldn't have caught the mistake. They were very nice and said they couldn't overide the computer so they took our sodas off the bill. Did they charge everyone that night $45? I wonder. I wouldn't go back.

My husband and I went at 6:30 on a Friday night and we were the only 2 in the restaurant. The restaurant was nice, booths were comfortable. The menu was very limited for entrees, they had their 4 signature steaks. I got the 8oz Filet ($38) and my husband got the 12oz NY Strip ($46). They came with 1 side - I got the asparagus (which you think they tell you already came with the meal) and the other was parmesan fries - which were bland. So the steaks - both were cooked to the temperatures asked. Other than that they laced taste and flavor. Hardly any seasoning on them and were just blah. When you have to ask for A1 sauce just to make the steak taste semi-ok you know there is an issue. If you want a nice steakhouse - do not go here!

I had my first meal at Spectrum Grill a couple of days ago and it was a wonderful experience. I came with a small group prior to attending the Sixers play-off game against the Bulls and it was a prefect desitnation before heading to the center.
