So I've been going here for a few months now and I absolutely love it. I'm vegan and seek out good juice/smoothie bars. This is my favorite. They have an amazing set menu, with drink specials that change and are deeeelish. You can grab pre-made juices and smoothies if you're in a hurry or have one made for you. You can also customize your own juice, which I love. So not only are their drinks amazing, but the people who work there are so warm and inviting and personable. It makes you want to come back. They are always CONSISTENT as well. Very important. I highly recommend the Fall Festival juice right now: Sweet potato, carrot, lemon, apple, and pumpkin spice. Soooooo yummy. Go here - you won't be disappointed.

Really tasty juices and smoothies - and a lot of variety in menu items. Sadly, they're pretty expensive, so you won't be able to go often unless you're a millionaire. But I like to go when I feel like I am getting sick or need a healthy energy boost!

Perfect location - across the street from Whole foods! Freshly blended healthy veggie/fruit juices n smoothies w well balanced recipes. Deeelicious!! Definitely coming back :)

I love going to Sip n Glo. They make the juices right where you can see, and are always happy to customize their menu drinks. They are a little pricey, but well worth it. They have lots of varieties of juices, and fun healthy add ons like chia seeds, spirulina, raw honey, and many other options to take your juice to the next level. I just wish there was one in University City!

I am so not a juice person and instantly fell IN LOVE with this place! Its cute and small and located in south street. They blend the fresh ingredients right in front of you so you see exactly what is going into your drink and how its prepped. I highly reccomend getting "One Love" juice which is spinach cucumber, apple and pineapple. It was really refreshing and a light drink. Now i really want to buy my own juicer and drink it every day. The only con i have for this place is the prices. $7 for juice is a bit steep but worth trying it once!

Just rename it "Chug-N-Glo" because everytime I come here, I wind up finishing my smoothie in less than 10 minutes. Seriously, the best smoothies in the city. And these are some serious smoothies, not just "a cup of cheap fruit salad and a hella lot of ice" watered-down kinda smoothie. And the menu is only where it begins. You can custom build your own treat. It's pricey but completely worth it.

I loveeeeeeee juicing! Yes, I was too excited to see this establishment on Yelp! Directly across the street from WholeFoods. I went in and the place smelled of fresh juice. Immediately I saw the special 'Apple of My Eye' which contains if I remember right apples, carrots, lemons, and ginger. The sales associate who juiced my glass of love seemed pretty lost during the process as I anticipated my energy booster. When he finally handed me the juice, I took a sip and the overwhelming taste of ginger hits me. His fruits/vegetables ratio was way off. I paid a little over $8 for a less than enjoying cup of juice. I have a juicer at home and would much rather do that than to pay for juice that tastes horrible. Sorry, no beuno.

Tried the honey love for the first time today and omg I am in love. It was so delicious. I've made smoothies with that combination before and it never tasted that good. I only wish they were cheaper, they are about $7.75 each!!

I pass by Sip N Glo Juicery all the time, & I finally enjoyed a nice juice last night at Night Market. I had the orange-carrot-lime last night, very tasty...& very pricy. While I'm glad there's finally a juice place near my house, I probably won't frequent them that often because if their regular prices are anything like I saw last night, I can spend a lot less just making a smoothie in my own kitchen. Also, to be honest, I'm pretty skeptical about the benefits of juicing. I had a long rant here, but this isn't really the platform, so I deleted it. Maybe it'll be a blog post. Still, I'm glad there's a nice fresh vegan friendly place walking distance, & once in a while, I'm happy to shell out the big bucks for a healthy beverage.

Awww yeeeaaah overpriced juice deliciousness. Go ahead and splurge. No, stop staring at the grocery stores across the street, you cannot achieve the same taste that they can. They have ingredients that you, and Pinterest have never considered pairing. Just do it, it's way better for you than the 1/2 dozen doughnuts you could buy instead.

I'm not a fan of vegetables in liquid form. So I got the 'better together' mix of strawberries, bananas, Greek yogurt, honey and almond milk. Man did it hit the spot. Made all the better by the wonderful customer service and calm smiles from the people who work there. Quite expensive at nearly $8 for a 16oz drink but a nice treat after a long week. Side note: my husband got something with kale, grapefruit, vegetables, more vegetables etc. It wasn't as awful as I thought it'd be but I'm still sticking to fruits. Pricing is the only reason it didn't get 5 stars but fresh ingredients and great service make it worthwhile every now and again.

The girls at Sip-n-Glo are the absolute sweetest, and their store is completely adorable. My friend and I had the wheatgrass shots with pineapple chasers (yum), she had the One Love (extra yum) and I had the All Shook Up (meh). I can't wait to go back (and give another juice a try) because the vibe of this place is so positive and uplifting. My only wish is that they had more seating!!

  • Anita S.

The only real downside to this place is the price point, turns it into more of a treat than an every day kind of indulgence. I liked how the calories/grams of sugar are displayed for all of the juices and smoothies. I got the One Love, which I think had kale, cucumbers, and other green things. It was nice and light, perfect for this heat wave going on right now. There's no chairs, so know that you'll be taking your Sip-N-Glo to go.

I should preface this review by saying that I am a bit of a juicing-fanatic/snob. I have a top of the line centrifugal juicer at home that I use as often as any other equipment in my kitchen. A few times a year, if I'm feeling sluggish or gross from say, holiday overeating, I like to do a 5-7 day juice cleanse. During those times, I've turned to companies like BluePrint or Pressed Juicery for delivery of cold pressed juices. However, wanting to support a local business this time, I went to Sip n Glo and ordered two of their Green Beasts as a part of my current cleanse. I was pretty disappointed to find that (1) their juices are NOT cold-pressed, which means they are not so great for a cleanse (high speed juicing oxidizes the juice so that the juice degrades a lot faster, plus, you don't get as many nutrients from the juice); (2) despite NOT being cold pressed, the juices are PRICED like they are; (3) rather than juicing the lemon and ginger in real time with the greens/fruit, they use pre-juiced add-ins from bottles that are stored on the counter (so basically "dead" juice); (4) they don't have parsley available, which is such a great source of nutrients during a juice cleanse and great for counterbalancing allergens. Also, the juice itself was not to my taste -- the lemon overwhelmed everything else and just killed my tastebuds. As I am perfectly capable of doing my own high speed centrifugal juicing at home, I won't be back any time soon, especially when Whole Foods sells their own line of cold pressed juices across the street for less, and Pressed Juicery saves me a trip to the store by delivering a higher quality product to my door.

Have to say jamba juice or even the juicery below the Comcast building would've tasted a lot better for a lower price. For the amount I am paying, I expected a lot better.

Finally, a legit juicery !!! Sip N' Glo is a really small little juicery right on South St. I actually drove by a few times before, I actually found the place. Parking here is on the street & it can be hard to find due to the South St. location. However, it is well worth it. Everyone is friendly & really nice. There are juice drinks & smoothies here. I forget the name of the drink I ordered. But, it was some kind of smoothie that was less than 200 calories & had over 20 grams of protein. Yay ! I wish I lived closer I would probably be a frequent flyer... I will be back to try a wheat grass shot with a pineapple chaser.

I tried Sip N Glo for the first time last week and LOVED it!! They provided juices for my group spin class at Body Cycle Studio! It was very last minute so kudos to Kristin and her team for making it happen! The girls LOVED it. I haven't been to the store yet but I highly recommend trying them out!!

This place is awesome. The only reason I took off a star is for the price ($8.10 with tax for a 16 oz). Is it worth it when you are craving a cool, refreshing and healthy drink? Yes. I got the Bittersweet, which had beet, pineapple, and grapefruit. Best of all, they customized it to my liking by adding less beets and upping the grapefruit. The ingredients were fresh and the combination was part earthy, part sweet. They were also giving out smoothie samples galore. The staff there are super nice and very enthusiastic about their product. Definitely worth a try!

The Lord has heard my prayers! I can not even count the times I have thought "You know what this neighborhood needs? A Juicery!" and BAM! This lovely place just pops out of nowhere. I have been waiting for this place to open for the longest and I finally went over and got myself a juice. I forgot the name of it but it was much like the Mean Green detox juice with the celery, cucumber, kale, ginger, lemon and apple. It was legit! I have a cold press juicer at home so I know what real juice should tastes like and this is it! The customer service was phenomenal and the store itself was super duper cute! They have a pitcher of fruit infused ice water that you can help yourself to as you wait for your juice to be made. You can also watch it being made. They use the freshest ingredients and you can totally taste it. The price was perfect. $7 and some change. I make juice at home often and I know that it is a very expensive thing to make so I understand why they charge $7 for their smallest size. Hmmmm I wonder if they need any part timers? lol All in all, if you are a health enthusiast or are just curious, get on over to Sip N Glo and try it out. Your body, mind and spirit will say, "Thank you! Finally, real nutrition!"

Legit juices and smoothies; none of that watered-down crap. I purchased a green juice and customized a smoothie, which they happily accommodated. Both were delicious and completely satisfying.

Sip-N-Glo is a fantastic addition to South Street. They have a wide variety of different types of smoothies and juices and it's the perfect way to cool off on a hot day. Their menu changes periodically and they feature a rotating cast of seasonal favorites so come back often.

Amazing! Called in my order while rushing to get to a meeting - it was ready within four minutes of me calling it in. Order the better together with pineapple - heavenly. Little pricey - but friendly staff, fast, and great tasting smoothies.

By far the best juice bar that I have ever been to and not just in Philly! They are juice and herbal scientists - absolutely amazing.

Best. Juice. Ever!! I have visited Sip N Glo a number of times and it has consistently delivered! The price is pretty on par with other juice bars, and I am happy to pay knowing that I am getting fresh, quality ingredients, which is obvious in the taste! The juices offered on the menu are delicious and I love that they include the nutrition facts so I know exactly what I am putting into my body. The atmosphere is bright and happy and the staff is extremely knowledgeable about the product they are serving. I can't say enough good thing about this place-if you love (or even like) juice and haven't tried Sin N Glo yet-try it today!!

I wish I could remember the name of the juice I sucked down on Friday, but it had apple, cucumber, kale and ginger and was recommended by the gentleman behind the counter. Pure deliciousness. And served just the right temp, with just a few ice cubes. The store is bright and the employees were friendly during my visit. When the guy who made my juice poured my cup, he even let me drink a few sips so he could top me off with what was left in the pitcher. Nice! I also love that the calories are listed for all menu items. That's huge, and super appreciated. So glad Philly is catching on to the juicing craze, because I've been really into juice as an in-between snack, or as a complement to a lighter lunch. Sip-N-Glo definitely doesn't come cheap; my 16oz juice was more than $7! I'm willing to pay for that deliciousness every now and then for a treat, though I'd likely have it more often if it was a little more wallet-friendly. It is still juice, and not a meal, after all.

Let me start off by saying that I was raised on juicing (it is a big part of Latin American-Hispanic culture) and although I juice at home almost everyday, it's nice to have a place to pick up a freshly made juice whilst on or near South Street. I was disappointed when Whole Foods, which is across the street from Sip N Glo, closed down their fresh juice bar, so it was a very smart move on Sip N Go owners' part to open up shop. I am also very pleased that they offer freshly made wheat grass juice, as most juicing places I have come across in Philadelphia do not. Also, I do not own a wheatgrass juicer. My only complaint is that they are a bit pricey. If they were to open up ANOTHER Sip N Glo in zip code 19125 (Fishtown) the rent would be more affordable for them, and they could then pass along the savings to their customers . **Hint**HINT** :)

The Honey Love smoothie is everything. I enjoyed every last drop. It's just sad when it's over. Yes, it's $8 but justifiably so. Filling and healthy I think but confusing because it tastes like a milkshake. The people who work there are friendly/cool probably so darn happy because they are full of healthy juices and smoothies.

This place is great. Just by walking in and smelling the fruits and vegetables, I was hooked. I had an amazing green juice. It's a little pricey (as are all juice bars) and there is very limited seating. But the location is fantastic and the juice is great. Also, vegan desserts from Sweet Freedom!

A fun new juice and smoothie shop on South street (across from Whole Foods). The staff was very friendly and helpful. They have a fun wall with mini Polaroid pictures of customers. Two of our friends got wheat grass shots, which they were very happy with. I tried the "One Love", which is a green juice comprising of veggies and fruits. Although you can taste a hint of kale (I believe), the juice had enough fruits (apples and pineapple) that it was quite delicious. I also learned the difference between juice and a smoothie is juice comes out of a juicer without the pulp, whereas a smoothie is made in a blender and incorporates all of the pulp and fiber from veggies and fruits. For the amount of fresh fruits and veggies used in each juice and smoothie, the price was very reasonable ($6 - $7 range). I definitely feel like I received my weekend's worth of vegetable servings!

Nice little shop, I think that it was a bold move to open it across the street from Whole Foods where they sell several organic smoothies, juices and ready to eat fruit. This was my first time and I tried the Apple of my eye, it was good, a little expensive but it saves me the time of washing my own juicer.

Wonderful and interesting juice blends of fruits & vegetables & supplements. They accept cash, credit cards, & shared that LevelUp may be a pending option. They are informative about options and nutritional value of their incredients. They even have fun information cards about healthful living. They have a reward system for repeat customers. Hooray for this healthy new business, that's privately owned.

I'm so happy this adorable place exists! Thinking about the yummy drink that awaits after a shopping trip across the street at Whole Foods saves me from going to town on the snack aisle. Very fresh, flavorful fruit and veggie combinations, and I love the frequent buyer card idea.

So happy I started my day off at Sip N Glo Juicery! I had the One Love, and all I can say is yummmmmm!!! It has green apple, cucumber, pineapple, ginger & kale and only 148 calories! It's almost lunch time, and I have been full and satisfied all day. The staff was very friendly, and knowledgeable and the store is beyond cute! I'd say it was a home run, especially to be so great on their Opening Day. I'll be back for sure!

THE ONLY THING I HATE IS THE PRICES. It is one of the only juice places in Philadelphia. Juice is delicious and the counter people really recommend for what you need/like. I was catching a cold so they were able to happily recommend something that would kick it fast. Service and juice is great, but you really cannot leave here without paying close to $10, which saddens my heart.

I stopped in yesterday for the first time and will certainly be back! I really enjoyed the freshly made special smoothie, The Gingerbread Man. This is a new seasonal smoothie that they serve made with banana, ginger, honey, cashews, hemp protein, vanilla and almond milk. It tasted like a dessert because it was sweet and had the flavors of a gingerbread cookie! The staff is very friendly and they even gave me a sample to try it before I ordered because they had some of the smoothie already made in their freezer. The only downfall is that there smoothies and juices are not cheap. It was over $8 for a 16 oz. special smoothy. It's a nice treat from time to time but I can't afford to go that often.

  • Bonnie J.

I mostly juice at home but when I want to treat myself to a juice I look no further than Sip-N-Glo! The customer service is very friendly and the juices are delish! I usually make green juice (read: kale heavy) at home so their non-green juices are such a treat. My favorite is heart beat! I'm really hoping they add a cleanse program to their offerings!

  • Victoria T.

I absolutely love this place! Not only are all of the juices and smoothies delicious but the staff is awesome and always willing to answer any questions you might have. As many others have said yes this place can be a bit pricey however you get what you pay for- fresh local ingredients that you know are free from any pesticides or other chemicals. There's a reason this place has been voted best juice bar in Philadelphia Magazine!

So glad to have this place in the neighborhood. They have great fresh, organic juices and smoothies, all in a reasonable calorie range (and price range!). Everyone is super friendly and helpful. The owner is in store and very enthusiastic and energetic about her shop. I am a huge juice fan and often make juice my breakfast and lunch. Sip n' Glo does an AMAZING deal where you can get 96oz for $35. It comes in a handy cardboard coffee like jug box (to go). This was enough juice for me for 3 days but I drank it in 2, afraid it wouldn't last long enough. After 2 days, it was still fresh and delicious! Big fan of this place!!!

Loved it the first time I went, but it hasn't been open any of the other times I've gone, so will probably have to find someplace else to get a juice.

I had been waiting...and waiting...and waiting for Sip N Glo to open all winter! So when it finally did a few weeks ago, I knew I wanted to try it out ASAP. I went with their "all day energizer," which had almond milk, banana, and peanut butter in it, but then I opted to add cacao to it. It was delicious without being too sweet and I liked that the server had me try it first. She told me she would adjust the chocolate flavor for me accordingly if I thought it wasn't strong enough. Our order came out quick and the complimentary water they had out was nice since it was so hot outside. My only gripe with Sip N Glo is that while some of their products are fairly reasonable, the add-ins seem too expensive. Why is it an extra $7 to add homemade almond milk to your shake? Perhaps I misread the menu, but I just didn't understand the mark up on that. They also have no tables or stools in here, so it definitely is a grab and go spot. I'm sure they'll continue to work out these kinks and make improvements as they go. I can see myself coming back here to try more of their beverages. Cheers!

Small, funky and cool, this is a local joint for fresh, tasty juices and smoothies. Absolutely awesome! Everything made right from scratch, and the vibe is healthy and hip. Stop by if in the area.

This is the best juice place around. The employees are great, and the juices are amazing. The only negative is that they don't use organic fruits and vegetables.

  • Emily M.

The friendly service along with the DELICIOUS drink prompted the 5 stars on this place! The woman who rang me up (whom I later found out was the owner) was very friendly and excited to help me narrow down on a drink choice, they all looked so good! I had the "all day energizer", a delightfully simple concoction of banana, peanut butter, and almond milk. That was it! It was so wonderful because I could taste the ingredients, which were high quality and made to perfection. To top things off she let me set up my laptop on their little bar so I could use their wifi and check some emails. Not like I need an excuse to go back, but the frequent buyer card will ensure I become somewhat of a regular. I thought it was a little on the pricey side, but I don't mind splurging on high quality ingredients and supporting a local business owner. Go now!

well I'm 0-2....both times I've come they are closed. mind you one time was a Tuesday at 1:45 pm. a juice place should NEVER and I repeat never be closed on this day and time unless it's Christmas. they also talk to you like you're an idiot when you approach the store unknowing of their hours. no I will not come back during your inconvenient hours. I also suspect that employees or friends of the owners are the ones posting the 5 star reviews below...doesn't sound like something just a customer would post..just saying.

Pros: -Juice is tasty, fresh, and refreshing -Good variety to choose from as well as the option to create your own juice -Most of the staff is friendly enough Cons: -Price is high. (But comparable to other juice bars) My main gripe involves two incidents where I made my own smoothies. The first time I ordered a "create your own smoothie", the price came out to something like $10. I know that is crazy to pay for a drink, but hey- I admit that the juice is good. What made me really annoyed was that when the guy behind the counter made the smoothie, there was a lot of extra juice in the blender after he poured me my cup. I asked him if I could have the remainder of the juice in a separate cup, and his response was no and that Sip N Glo's policy is that they will not give you the juice if they inadvertently make extra. I asked if he was going to just throw the juice out, and he responded yes. I think that it is ridiculous that when you are paying close to $10 for a drink, that they won't give you the entire mixture that they make even if they inadvertently made too much. It is insulting that they would rather throw it out then give it to the customer. In addition, for a venue that claims to pride itself on environmental friendliness, it's pretty wasteful to throw out food. On another day, the same situation occurred. (With the same guy behind the desk who has a chip on his shoulder by the way.) They made too much of the smoothie, and I asked if I could have the remaining juice from the blender. This time the guy indicated that I could drink the juice in front of him while he "topped me off." Sorry, but I don't feel like chugging $10 juice when I am in a rush to get to work. As I was walking out, the girl behind me in line confirmed that it was ridiculous that he could not give me a separate cup with the price that I paid. The incident was actually embarrassing. I am not asking for anything for free. All I am saying is that they should not be throwing out the extra juice that they make with your drink and that if they make extra, they really should just give it to you with the exorbitant price. At this point, I will not go back to Sip N Glo out of principal. Perhaps if the owner responds indicating that this is no longer their policy or apologizes for the guy's snide attitude, I will contemplate revisiting. As of now, I do not feel as if they appreciate their customers.

i love the vibe; this place makes my day every time i brave the steep prices to come in. between the friendly employees and the super fresh, invigorating juices, i just feel so much better after a visit to sip-n-glo. i'm giving them four stars for now, because the people are so friendly and the heart beet is BEYOND AMAZING. however, i tried one of the other juices--something with pear and spinach--and it wasn't all that tasty. but i'm going to keep coming back for more until i work my way through the menu...if i can resist getting my beloved heart beet every time :)

I'm in love with Sip-N-Glo! I am hooked. I tried "One Love" and "The Glo" earlier this week and both were amazing. The store is set up so nicely and there is a bunch of interesting stuff to look at while I wait. The owner, Kristen is SUPER sweet and welcoming and the employees are extremely nice.

Love this little juice place that isn't too far from home (deep south philly). Adorable, bright decor, helpful (friendly) staff and some really delicious suggestions on the menu board. But hey, if you want a straight apple juice (like my fiance, the healthy food hater wanted), they can do that too. Also, it smells amazing and fresh inside. (All that jucin' going on!) The price is high, sure, but they have a reward card that pays off in a free juice and they post coupons here and there on their facebook page.

The staff is really nice and and the smoothies are great! I loved the cool vibes and smoothies. The ingredients are also fresh and delicious. It was the perfect treat after exploring Philly's Magic Gardens and is conveniently so close! It is definitely a must go when in Philly!!

Awful! The owner gives all her power to some young, cult like vegan. The drinks are heavy on the water, lite on the juice ingredients. Better to get a bottled juice from wholefoods or make ur own. The prices are outrageous and the area where the juice is made is FILTHY!! I even saw the manager stand up on the counter with her shoed feet to reach something. Ew! All hype and no delivery. Please be more careful, visitors. WALK AWAY.

Sip n glo is a cute concept with very nice/chatty people working, but the quality control is not good. I have had the same juice at different points and it tastes drastically different: sometimes it is great and sometimes it is unpalatable. Yesterday I went to grab a smoothie before a workout and ordered the Green protein smoothie. When this smoothie was handed to me, I took one sip and thought "YUCK!" It was very chunky with spinach or kale, whichever the green was. I make green smoothies almost every day at home, and I know that that means that a) old kale or spinach was used and/or b) the stems were put in from kale and it was not blended long enough. I would normally say this is user error, but this is the 2nd time I have had this smoothie from here and it tastes bad. The proportions are not good, and the fact that chia seeds are just thrown without letting them soak up any moisture doesn't make sense. It would make sense to hydrate the chias in a little almond milk, then scoop into the smoothie as necessary. This smoothie was downright gross. This smoothie was so bad I would've thrown it away if it hadn't cost me $8.75. Sip-n-glo, you're cute and everything, but quality control is everything with a business like this.

What's special about Sip-N-Glo Juicery? kind of juice bar serve fresh juices with pure ingredients, hand crafted juices, smoothies, pump up protein shakes and shots. Sip-N-Glo offers fresh juice made upon request and pre-bottled fresh juices, and shakes in addition to their cleansing packages. Now sound glamorous, right? The prices, however, were a bit on the dear side! I walked in two minutes before closing time, and I just grabbed two bottled ones-Chocolate Peanut Butter and One Love. I couldn't choose. As a veggie hater, I thought maybe I should branch out and try something new, on the other hand, who could resist the heavenly combination of chocolate and peanut butter. Why Not Both? I paid almost $18!!! I must have seen it coming!!! - Chocolate Peanut Butter Pump up protein shake: $7.75 Mmmmm well, it was ok. Not the best tasting protein shake I ever had. - One Love Juice: $7.50 Since it is my first green juice ever, I can say i don't hate it as I was worried I might. Bright, vibrant flavor. I really like it. Sip-N-Glo Juicery is very interesting cute spot, where you'll take a sip and your skin will glow- I didn't notice any bit of a skin-boosting glow - perhaps because it was night time hahah. Its good quality juice, but be prepared to spend a hefty price for it. Three and half Yelps!

Today was opening day, and even though I avoid going to places within the first week they open, I took my chances and went to Sip-N-Glo because I've been hearing about juice cleanses. In general, I don't like juice. I never buy any type of juice for home, not even OJ for the past couple years. I felt like juices were mostly all sugar and useless calories. Enter Sip-N-Glo. They offer a variety of juices and smoothies that are healthy and tasty. The calories and sugar contents are listed with each juice so you know what you are drinking. The locally-sources veggies and fruits they put in the juices are fresh - you can watch them extract the drops from each into your drink. No gimmicks to make your drink tastier- just pure goodness. Sip-N-Glo is across the street from Whole Foods, and I know I will definitely be getting my healthy juice fix after some grocery shopping.

Nice variety of fresh veggie and fruit juices. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The prices make this a total splurge I can't indulge in often, but on a hot, muggy day when we were dragging, it was the perfect pick-me-up.

I was so excited to try this place and I was very underwhelmed. The person who took my order was very slow and yes I can be patient, but I waited almost 10 minutes for a smoothly when only two of us were in there. I ordered the peach cobbler smoothy and it tasted nothing like peach and basically tasted like ice and a tart strawberry. It was also way overpriced, I paid about $10 for something that didn't even taste good. Was hoping for better because I heard good things.

This juicery and smoothie shop is quite nice. The service is friendly, and the ingredients are fresh. I got the Better Together smoothie, and my boyfriend got the weekly/daily special Peach Cobbler smoothie. They were both very refreshing and energizing. The only downside is the cost, which I feel is too high for smoothies and juices. Otherwise, I really like the place.

This place is stellar for juices. They keep it very simple. no added sugar and just pure ingredients. We come here every so often when my fiance has a juice craving. They always have good options to choose from. This time around I tried the Better Together smoothie while my fiance ordered the heart beet juice. Both were really tasty. The smoothie was very simple, but it was a combination of flavors that are classic and popular. The smoothie contained strawberries, banana, greek yogurt and almond milk. The consistency was just right, and it wasnt too thick so you could actually drink it at a decent pace. The combination of strawberry and banana is always killer in my book. The Heart Beet juice was the real standout. Beet, carrot, celery, lemon & ginger all combine to make a really flavorful and healthy concoction. It is really satisfying and refreshing. This is definitely a great spot to grab a juice.

Let me start with the good. Juice! Juice is really good, and they have some SERIOUS selection. I have heard about this spot long before I went to check it out. The location is great, right across from whole foods. I went in after a yoga class at yoga garden one afternoon. The guy behind the counter was super friendly. He gave me a little sample of something he was making. Really gingery, very good. I picked up two SMALL juices (one was a vanilla chai type and it was good!). My total was almost 18 dollars. WOAH. As noted in most reviews, this place is EXPENSIVE. I've had juices all over and this wins for highest price tag at the least amount. Also, for those of you that are hardcore about juicing, this isn't cold pressed. Often that's the reason for a higher price, in this case it's not really justified. Still, I dig this place. Yes it's expensive, but I really enjoyed both juices and didn't regret buying them. I like to buy from places that just do juices because they tend to make some really good/unique mixtures. I really liked the friendly guy behind the counter, and the overall vibe. I'm quite close to this place and it won't be part of my regular purchases, but when I want to treat myself (and give my body what it needs) I'll be back.

The city was in need of a good juice spot and Sip 'n Glo filled the void. The location is genius. Sitting right across the street from the South Street Whole Foods, Sip 'n Glow takes advantage of all the health-minded grocery shoppers in the area along with all the South Street shoppers. With this addition, South Street is improving. My favorite drink here is the Beast. It's a perfect blend of green apple, cucumber, celery, kale, parsley, lemon and ginger. The Beast is not too sweet so it makes you feel like you're not just drinking fruit juice. Over-sweetness can be a problem at other places that serve juice. I'm not drinking juice for the calories, but instead for the large dose of nature-made vitamins found in the vegetables. The small size juice is $6.75 which is a good rate considering the amount of produce contained within. Don't forget to tip your juicers. Juicing is quite a bit of work, from preparing the vegetables to keeping the equipment clean. That's why I outsource it.

Decent ginger juices but they raised their already high prices and have to lie about doing it when you can obviously compare them against their old boric hire and edited signs. For the new prices, try P.S. & co or the more reasonable 4 seasons at reading terminal.

Good juices and I like the way they make things but its overpriced. I asked about their recently raised prices, particularly their kids sizes, and they acted like that never happened. The kids juices are now more then they are worth

South street, Philly Across from whole foods, a real top notch health juice place, I'm talking about real juicing. Lots of varieties to decide on, eg wheat glass, flax seeds, and they use all those other fancy schmancy ingredients most of us never heard of, for energy, for this, for that! It is expensive but hey if you got the cash, go for it- it is your health. I saw at whole foods they have like bags of their ingredients and one ingredient was like $24?!? Yikes, no wonder those drinks are so pricey. You want your dark greens? This is your place!

    (5)
  • Andi S.

Service and juice is great, but you really cannot leave here without paying close to $10, which saddens my heart.

well I'm 0-2....both times I've come they are closed. mind you one time was a Tuesday at 1:45 pm. a juice place should NEVER and I repeat never be closed on this day and time unless it's Christmas. they also talk to you like you're an idiot when you approach the store unknowing of their hours. no I will not come back during your inconvenient hours.

Cheers!

Go now!

Best. Juice.

  • Andi S.

Service and juice is great, but you really cannot leave here without paying close to $10, which saddens my heart.

well I'm 0-2....both times I've come they are closed. mind you one time was a Tuesday at 1:45 pm. a juice place should NEVER and I repeat never be closed on this day and time unless it's Christmas. they also talk to you like you're an idiot when you approach the store unknowing of their hours. no I will not come back during your inconvenient hours.

WALK AWAY.

Small cute place that is clean, good music, and tons of superfood and healthy options. Good place for a fruit and vegetable juice blend. The One Love with carrot juice is pretty much the best thing ever!

  • Jessica W.

  • Mike W.

  • Lolly G.

  • Cindy C.

Decent ginger juices but they raised their already high prices and have to lie about doing it when you can obviously compare them against their old boric hire and edited signs. For the new prices, try P.S. & co or the more reasonable 4 seasons at reading terminal.

    (2)
  • Juan P.

Good juices and I like the way they make things but its overpriced. I asked about their recently raised prices, particularly their kids sizes, and they acted like that never happened. The kids juices are now more then they are worth

Cheers!

Go now!

Awesome! Seriously delicious smoothies and really friendly service. I bought a mason jar (highly recommended) as a gift for my girlfriend and the cashier went and got string to tie a bow on it.

Small cute place that is clean, good music, and tons of superfood and healthy options. Good place for a fruit and vegetable juice blend. The One Love with carrot juice is pretty much the best thing ever!

LOVE THIS PLACE!!!! Tuck and James are hands down great! They always make the yummiest juices and smoothies! I've been here for the past 4 days in a row! I'm addicted!!!!!!! Must must must stop by!!!!!

Best. Juice.

Sip-N-Glo is a fantastic addition to South Street. They have a wide variety of different types of smoothies and juices and it's the perfect way to cool off on a hot day. Their menu changes periodically and they feature a rotating cast of seasonal favorites so come back often.
