I've eaten here for the third time today. I have to say that of all the local Chinese restaurants in the area that I've had, they're the best. They offer sushi which is a huge plus; many places I know of don't. The food was hot and fresh tasting. My house frequently orders from another local Chinese restaurant whose chicken is always below par, but the General Tso's Chicken from Sannie tasted fresh and not one piece in the mix was hard and missing the chicken. That's a huge win for me. Since I placed an order for delivery, I should say that the wait was about 40 minutes, but like I said, it was still piping hot. For a place like this, I think it's worth traveling to to sit in and dine; when I did it was a pretty laidback atmosphere in the front.

The food here is not particularly fantastic, but if you want a decent lunch, not a bad space to stop by. I ordered a Salmon Roll and Shredded Spicy Chicken as part of the lunch special, and got a sort of bento-box containing those two, rice, and salad. In addition, there was tea and some kind of fried food made for dipping (forgive me for knowing the name) and fried wontons for appetizer, plus tea of course. Everything was pretty good. It was more food than I expected. Again, nothing remarkable, but definitely satisfying. Service was also good and the place is not horribly inauthentic.

This place is great and offers a great groupon deal. It's never too busy, the food is fresh, and the service is good. I like the Kani salad, steamed shrimp and vegetables from the health menu with brown rice. My daughter likes the general tso chicken. The sushi is just ok, but overall a pleasant, clean and nice place to dine.

My mom has been going here for years (since it was Jannie) and decided to take me one day.. very glad she did, this place has good quality sushi. They have specials all the time for under $8 that comes with soup, salad, and two sushi rolls.. We both got that. I don't like the soups they offer (wonton and miso) and I don't like the ginger dressing they use for salads so next time I will just skip the specials and get just the rolls. When seated they bring you waters, a teapot of hot tea, crispy noodles and spicy mustard and duck sauce to dip in. Every single thing from the tea, to the sushi, was delish! The only reason I deducted a star was because it was FREEZING. All of the employees were wearing fleece jackets because of how cold it was. My mom and I didn't even take off our coats because of how cold it was. All and all, I will be back.. just in the summer or take out during the winter.

Excellent sushi and quick service. The shrimp tempura was some of the best I've ever had. I also highly recommend the hot and sour soup. It's tucked away in the back by party city.

I stumbled across Sannie while en route to Party city. It immediately caught my eye as it serves both Chinese and Japanese food. Kinda of hidden in the back corner of the shopping center and is across from party city. I really wanted to give this place more than 3 stars but couldn't do it... The inside is relatively large with a small sushi bar area. Upon entering there is no hostess. To the far left is the cashier's area and behind there the kitchen. To the right is the small sushi bar. The menu is quite large with a great selection and I was very excited to try the food items. I decided to order take out (and go shopping while it was prepared). I ordered an egg roll, chicken chow mein, sweet potato roll and clear soup. Despite being on the menu the waitress told me they only had Miso and no Clear soup (on Japanese menu) so I ordered wonton soup. I then went shopping and arrived back 20 minutes later. Unfortunately my order was not ready and she knew I was waiting. She said that the sushi still needed to be prepared. Wasn't very thrilled about this as I was also on my way to work! On to the food: The sweet potato roll was delicious! Couldn't have been better. The remainder of the food, including the soup, was very very oily. It was flavorful but still too much oil for my liking. The order also came with the large crunchy noodles (which I looove) but were again too oily. If I go back I think it wold be for the sushi only.

This is my third time coming here and I'm just not impressed with their food. I feel like the taste in the food is a bit weird. The salad + soup for the sushi special : The salad was washed. How did I know? Enough water in the bowl where it collects on the bottom and while I was eating it, the water was mixing in with the dressing and it started tasting plain. The soup was pretty okay so nothing special there. Sushi : I ordered the tempura roll, New York roll and the eel roll. It's so plain! It made me full but I was so unsatisfied with the taste of it. I also ordered shrimp fry udon and it tasted bad. I try two bites and so did my sister and we decided I ll just bring it home and see if I ll get hungry enough to eat it at work the next day. The taste was plain like everything else. The shrimp didn't have any special taste. Just add shrimp to the pan and I would get the same taste. Also the udon was cook in this weird sauce. It's hard to describe but I know I don't like it. After maybe half an hour I started feeling sick like I wanted to throw up and then I started to have a stomach ache so...not sure what to say here.

My favorite local sushi spot!!! I come here at least once a week for the shrimp tempura & Volcano rolls. The spicy tuna & Marine rolls are not bad. Unfortunately, I have only tried the sushi, for take out, so I can't really give a five star . The hostess/cashier is nice & the place is really big & clean. Of course going back!!!

Awfully high prices for less than satisfactory food. The dining atmosphere is dated and dark. The restaurant needs a facelift for sure. If you want good sushi with a fair price, go to Sakura on Street Road in Bensalem or Shogun! Sakura is beautiful and Shogun offers an amazing hibachi experience. Both of which Sannie cannot offer.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
