this weekend was our big move into this zip code. three straight days of moving and new 'volunteers' each day. our kitchen is FAR from ready to entertain so we naturally ordered take out for our famished friends. Primo's was recommended by a local friend and we were not steered wrong. one small pie with pepperoni, one large plain, two cheese steaks, one chicken cheese steak, two 2 liters and one twenty ounce soda for 43 dollars. the food was great, and upon request they packed us a bag of forks, cups, and plates - sweet. we picked up but they do deliver. I will return to this place.

Great neighborhood pizza place. The upside down pie is really something that puts them over most other places for me. And seriously, you CANNOT beat the price. So while hipster babies are opening "pizza museums" and charging $24 for 16" pies down the street, save your money on the hype, do yourself and the neighborhood a solid and go to Primo's instead.

great neighborhood pizza place. Picked up the pie and met Jim and John; both were very friendly and welcoming...always a plus! The inside looked nice and clean; very well kept. The pizza was very nicely done; perfectly well done how I like it; we had half cheese and half pepperoni and it was just what we craved. Downside, no garlic knots; kinda wished they had them. But the price was verrrrrry good; very cheap and well worth it!

The Primo Mega Pie is not what one would expect. A huge all cheese pizza? fFr $20$ No toppings at all? A mega disappointment.

As I was polishing off slices from a large Primo pie, I realized what this pizza was. Each slice was like a smaller version of Lorenzo's at 3am. What I mean by that is that Primo's pizza crust is super soft, super foldable, and super pale. I mentioned 3am at the South Street joint because at that time, they undercook the pies so as to not make the drunkards angry by having them wait. Usually, I'm that drunkard, so I have developed an affinity for a hand-tossed pasty and pliable pizza. Therefore, it's comforting to know I don't have to be on South Street for when such pizza desires happen.

To be fair the guy who took the order made the pizza and rung me up who I believe to be the owner was nice. Besides that this place is all down hill. I ordered a large pepperoni pizza and a order of fries. The order was ready in average time. Pizza was pretty bad and poorly made, it was very soft and undercooked. The fries were right below standard quality. Would not order from them again.

Primo Pizza is STILL a 5. Voted Best Pizza by the Star readers I know I'm in good company saying it doesn't get any better than this!!! We enjoy the Mega pie but also the cheesesteaks (with fried onions!!),wings, hoagies, and platters!! While their prices are already great I appreciate the specials that they run so I can keep a few more bucks in my pocket! Thank you Primo!!!

The pizza here is pretty good, but I have to write about my disappointment for Primo's wings. I ordered suicide wings, and was excited because most places I go to just don't have good heat. In short, these soggy wings were an embarrassment to even the heat level medium. You can eat Primo's suicide wings to cool your mouth off after anything that has a hint of spice, even the smallest touch. For shame. Primo, do us all a favor and simply remove this item from your menu. It's just sad.

Mega Pizza - that's what I think when I think of Primo Pizza. They actually have a pizza size that is called 'mega' it is very large, and I have to turn it sideways to fit it through my front door. If I'm too lazy to make my own pizza (this is rare) I call up Primo which is right around the corner from my house. They have never failed me. Their pizza is typical pizza, its good. I like it. I would give them 4 stars for their pizza, but the building they operate out of is kind of ick looking....but I've never gotten sick and it looks like they try to keep it clean. I've heard that their other food offered is good as well - but I can't say as I just stick with the pizza. p.s. their prices are actually reasonable...and they deliver quickly.

I really do like their pizzas here but on my recent visit I also got their buffalo wings. They were ok in flavor, but what I really didn't like was that they were TINY...I mean the drumstick part of the wings were about the size of my THUMB =( I was disappointed...but their pizzas are still good.

Good pizza. Good steaks with Amoroso bread. I live next door so I order from there all of the time. The owner is real nice and makes me feel welcome. My friends always want to order from here when they come over to my place. Also the skate park across the street is entertaining to watch while you wait for food.

girlfriend and I have been eating the mega pie for years now. so big, so cheap, so fishtown. The cheese has that its almost stale but its ok because its half melted feel. Perfect for soaking up booze or tomorrows lunch on the go. Even though one time we found a staple in a slice we still love the PRIMO MEGA!!

The food is fine and well priced. Nothing overly impressive, just standard pizza shop fair. I picked up my food and while waiting I was impressed by the size of the largest pizza which looks to be able to feed a big group. I'll keep that in mind the next time I have a group of people over.
