Parking is a pain the ass downtown, and Pine is no exception. I didn't have much time before work, and had nowhere to park legally, so did the dirty and walked in and ordered. That's when the owner [or I would assume is the owner] asked if I was parked illegally. After confirmation, he said I could wait in the car and he'd bring out the sammiches as soon as they were done. Sure enough, PPA was walking down the street at I got back into my car, and this man saved me some coinage! Thanks dude! The sandwich itself was done well, I got my usual brekkie sandwich fare of bacon and egg on a kaiser [or roll, whatever they have]. The egg was cooked just enough that it still retained a great portion of its juicy self, and the bacon could have used a few more seconds on the the griddle, but now I'm just nitpicking.

Small little deli on Pine Street with a great beer selection and good food on the cheap. Grilled chicken wrap: my go-to for a healthy lunch or dinner. The grilled chicken is really flavorful and tender. They also have whole wheat wraps. Chicken salad: another great sandwich. Nice and creamy and served on a good sub roll. I believe this is their $6.95 Saturday special which comes with a can of soda. I usually avoid cash only businesses but the owner is really cool and sincere. There's an ATM inside.

Where would we be without our corner delis? Sometimes you just need a grilled cheese, something resembling coffee, and/or a six pack on the cheap and as quickly as possible, and you're willing to sacrifice quality and (dare I say it?) cleanliness to make this happen. Proximity, friendly owners, and prices I can pay with change pilfered from my laundry fund keep me coming back here.

I was in the mood for a chicken cheesesteak the other day and didn't feel like venturing out too far from work. It wasn't too cold out, but I was just being lazy and wanted to get the most out of my lunch break. I thought about a few places and said to myself, "self, what about Pine Street Deli?" I heard good things about their hoagies, so I said why not. I walked in and for some reason, I expected different. It's hard for me to explain, but the seating area in the back of the deli is very dim. It could use better lighting. The layout of the place is just off to me. The chicken cheesesteak was pretty good. The main selling point of Pine Street Deli is the bread. The bread is so fresh and soft. You would think they bake it daily, but it's actually packaged bread. I'll definitely return and try a few other options. The price is very reasonable too. Just a note: This is a CASH ONLY spot. Keep that in mind if you decide to go. There is an ATM on site, but I'm not sure what the fee is.

Hey, I'm a huge fan of cheap eats and fresh sandwiches! This hoagie packs a punch with it's overstuffed meat and fresh bread. Not to mention it was very budget friendly at only $5.49. Definitely one of my favorite convenient store/sandwich shops in the neighborhood. The owner was very friendly. It is cash only but there is an ATM in the store.

The hoagies were huge!!! And the bread was some of the best hoagie bread I've ever had. They only accept cash. This place is what you want from a neighborhood deli!

5 stars for their selection of beer!! IPAs, Pilsners, and ciders. 5 stars also for the owner and his cute little so. Who says hi and thank you to everyone that walks in here. You can buy beers by the singles or 6 pack. The cheesesteaks are yummy bit the bread was nothing special. Pizza was good. Crispy crust. Relaxing place to hang out in the back with the tv and big booths.

A nice little corner deli that has the essentials. Sandwiches, sodas, beer and sides. Prices are reasonable for the area and for the convenience. They do offer snacks that are under a $1. A bonus is they do offer mexican coke with natural sugar, which is always a good find.

My favorite deli in the neighborhood! Their food is fantastic, not as expensive as a lot of the places around here, and always extremely quick. I haven't had one bad sandwich from here...even if it is hard to get something other than my favorites (my favorite cheesesteak I have had in Philly so far tbh...it's been a few years since I've had the famous ones, but theirs is just fab). Their grocery section isn't large, so it is at a slight disadvantage here than say places like DELIcious Bites a couple blocks down...but if it is take-out food I am looking for, there is nowhere else I call!

I love Pine Deli! Davey Lee is a Sandwich Master! These are my favorite things to order: 1. cheesesteak (extra cheese, fried onions) 2. blt (crispy bacon, light mayo) 3. italian hoagie (hold the mayo, extra vinegar) 4. grilled cheese with sweet peppers, hot peppers, and fried onions (i made this creation up myself) Pine Deli is great because the food is great, it's less than a 1 minute walk from my apartment, and the owners are really friendly. There is nothing better than stopping by Pine Deli on your way home from work, picking up a sandwich and some beers, and enjoying a summer evening on the stoop. 5 stars for Pine Deli!

Stopped in before my Dr. appt b/c I had some time to kill. Was going to just grab a drink, but saw they made food. I dared be adventurous and had an egg & cheese bagel and it was awesome! The egg was cooked perfectly! It wasn't dry and over done like some places. There was just enough cheese fort liking. The bagel wasn't amazing, but that's cause it's just a bagel. It was the perfect little surprise. I decided to stay in and eat, they have a few tables in the back, and as I sat, I can promise at least 6 people came in and got food all withig like 15 minutes. The best part none of them had to wait. I will visit them again when I'm in the area!

I love this place. The hours are great (though they are closed on Sundays) and the service is amazing. The couple that owns the deli will recognize those who frequent their store and are extremely friendly. The breakfast sandwiches are delicious (yum Sriracha) as are the hoagies and other hot foods they offer. They have an extensive beer selection for the small space and they even offer seating in the back if you want to enjoy a cold beer and sandwich indoors.
