It's Papa Johns. Mon - Wednesday they offer 50% off. If I'm lazy and don't want to cook - or am nostalgic for late night college dorm pizza - I'll get it.

No. No. NO!! Just ordered delivery, thin crust pepperoni and two kinds of bread sticks. Delivered on time, but pizza was burned and the box was DRIPPING grease. I didn't call to get it fixed because - well, God only knows what they might add to the replacement. Horrible. Never again.

I should've read the reviews before ordering just now. It's fast food pizza, so I don't expect anything special. I do, however, expect the MANAGER who took my order to enter it right! I first asked about any specials. Since there were none I liked I asked for what I wanted: thin crust spinach Alfredo & asked how much extra for chicken. He gave me the price then interrupts himself to tell me if I came in, I could get a medium for $12. I said, "no thanks, I don't drive which is why I'm ordering" then repeated that I'd still have the spinach Alfredo with chicken. He asked if I wanted a drink and I added a soda. The order arrived fast, and I was starving so I just picked up a slice and started eating till I noticed it tasted funny & realized it was a regular pizza with chicken. I called to let them know and the young lady who answered was very apologetic but explained that they make whatever is on the screen so it must've been entered wrong. She asked if I knew who took my order...since I didn't have his name, I said some Indian guy. She says, "oh, that's the manager...he's the only Indian guy that works here." If I can't expect the manager to get my order right, that just means I don't need to order there anymore. I hope he got the message that he's an IDIOT. The nice young lady sounded amused when I asked her to relay it...like she was thinking "you're preaching to the choir, honey!" The first, and only other time, I ordered there something was wrong with my order, but I decided to give it another try. NEVER AGAIN! They only get one star because the young lady was so sweet.

Well, it's a chain so it's really about the service, which sucks! The first time I ordered online. I went to the restaurant and it took them 45 minutes to find the order. The second time we got delivery and were missing 2 items that we were charged for. So, their delivery driver went home for the night (at 8pm). Fine, refund the money or credit the account. No, they didn't want to do that. So, cue disputing the charge with the credit card company and a Yelp review that hopefully encourages you to go elsewhere.

It's not worth commenting on a chain's food because it's all manufactured the same mechanical way. The only thing left is the service. Not recommended unless you want to get something else than what you ordered, something so horribly, obviously missing that your pizza is rendered inedible, only to call and be immediately told "our driver went home for the night." Seriously, if I drove past this place and it was burning to the ground, I wouldn't even take a leak on the front door.

ordered from here 2x, both times - disappointment!!! 1st time: waited 1 hour 30 mins, still didn't get my order, when i called back, they told me they never received any order from me, me and my hubby got so pissed, finally decided to order something else down the street, 20 mins later the driver from papa johns called me saying he is down there with my pizza!!! WFT almost 2 hours, what i got was a cold pizza which the store says they never received the order from us!!! and the sauce that came with it was opened! i missed papa johns pizza so much ( i used to order a lot when i lived in ny), so i decided to give it another try. same thing happened. ordered 40 mins again, had my hubby drove there, and he was told: no one placed order!!! i still have the confirmation on my screen for the purchase!! seriously? they really need better management!! will not order from them again!!!

Just ordered the thin crust large cheese. It came an hour after I ordered and was completely cold by the time it came. It is summer so that means they literally waited that long to deliver it after it was made. It also came with "seasoning" instead of the garlic sauce which was disgusting and made the pizza too salty to enjoy (I used less than half of the packet on the whole pizza). Sorely disappointed.

Food , pizza and wings are good. I stopped ordering from there awhile ago thou because . I ordered my food online paid with CC but then I rushed to the corner store to grab beverages and the deliver guy happened to be right there talking to a friend of his. I think the guy said what are you doing about deliver some food, I'm hungry and the delivery guy said "Here you can take this food, it's already paid for" So I guess if I didn't cut in and say "hey are you on the waY to this address ?" The delivery guy was gonna give my food away to one of his friends at the corner of my block. Then the delivery guy gonna say uhm I was just kidding. Yeah right. So I guess he was gonna pretend he delivered my food and k would have been out of pizza, wings and cheese stick money. Over 20 bucks. So I give the store 4 stars for the food and all the other delivery guys except for that one delivery creep that made me not wanna order from there anymore.

I know its not a local pizzeria thats why i give it 4 stars and I am reviewing in South Philly. Hands down when its delivery pizza this is the best one for all the choices and convenience(online ordering ) they have outrageous promos online as well so you dont have to wait for the weekly circular which oftenly trashes our street. I have an italian neighbor who is a picky eater and she also swears by Papa John's great pizzas from the Meat pizza to the Top of the line to the custom made Sausage and Mushroom and peppers combo with extra cheese they pull it off quite nicely. This branch along Broad street also is efficient for take outs if you happen to be in the area they are pretty quick perhaps a lot of So.Philly folks still go to their trusty Pizza guys. Papa John's does it here in South Philly thanks for having one on my area!!!

I hope this place burns to the ground!! I hate this place so much that I actually took time to write a letter to the company; yes I'm insane and have a shitload of time on my hands. Oh and yes, I know cheese sauces cost about 75 cents but it's the principle!!! Here it is - I am writing this letter to express how unhappy I am with the recent service (or lack of) I was provided with at the PAPA JOHN'S location on 1109 South Broad St., Philadelphia, PA. I originally placed an order via phone for delivery with this location on September 26, 2008 for a small pizza, breadsticks and cheese sauce. I was charged for all items; however, I never received the cheese sauce. I called the location to request the cheese sauce be brought back by the delivery person and I was assured that it would be. Needless to say, the cheese sauce was not delivered. I contacted this location last week (October 10, 2008) to place an order and also request that I receive a free cheese sauce because of the mistake but the store manager told me that he doesn't deliver to my location. I find this hard to believe as we are approximately 1.46 miles from the location and ordered there within the last month for delivery. In addition, he stated he could not honor our coupons because they were only good if used on-line. I purposely refused to use the on-line service because of the fact I wanted to receive the missing item from the prior order. Overall, the service was rude and perhaps this store should be evaluated and re-trained on the meaning of customer service.

Yay I finally moved into an area where Papa John's delivers! I ordered online and was surprised with how fast and accurate my order came. The pizza here is ok but I go for the breadsticks and garlic dipping sauce. One order of breadsticks should come with at least 2 containers of dipping sauce. Its awesome! Good luck trying not to double dip :)

I order from this place more than any other pizza place in the city. The ease of ordering online, the number of specials (I get an email about twice a week), and the consistent service and quality makes me a regular customer. They need to start up a rewards program!

I ordered my first pizza online and held my breath. They actually got it right and delivered it in a reasonable amount of time. Excellent!

Ordered a extra large cheese, diet coke 2 litre, 2 extra garlic sauces, and it came to 20.18 with a 30 minute wait for delivery. I liked the online ordering. The pizza was good, still hot, and everything we ordered was there. I like that you can get a huge pizza for 13/14 bucks. I would have ordered from Mama's or Pine street if I knew I could get a bigger pizza. When girls watch a chick flick we need to EAT.
