As a new comer to JJs I was skeptical that their veggie sub would be tasteless and odd. However it's amazing and even non vegetarians order it. The service is FAST. Like Flash is making the sandwiches here. It's also cheap and just plain tasty. Love it.

I've ordered the turkey tom twice online and it was fresh, FAST, and delicious each time. Although they don't have as many toppings as Subway, their sandwiches have a fresher taste. This will be my go-to delivery spot on the days I can't leave my office.

This Jimmy John's location was my saving grace during my semester spent at Temple University. The location was clutch and the staff here is so nice. The service is super fast - once you finish ordering, you wait about five to ten seconds before your sandwich is ready. Prices are reasonable, the sandwiches always taste really fresh and the ingredients are never questionable. I always order their vegetarian sandwich or the Turkey Tom, both of which never disappoint. Also, they have fab chocolate chip cookies and kettle-cooked chips. The best part of Jimmy John's is their delivery option, and the fact that they are open so late. I was always "that person" would would order Jimmy John's from my Temple dorm room at 1:30 a.m. when I was hanging out with my roommate and wanted something to eat, and they always delivered without a complaint. I definitely miss this place!

Two things have made me a loyal JJ customer: their speed, and their "unwich." THE SPEED: What can I say that hasn't been said? I no sooner finish ordering online when I get the delivery knock. I suspect Jimmy John's proprietary business advantage is that they train their staff to materialize. THE 'UNWICH': Any JJ sandwich, wrapped in hearty romaine lettuce. This is a standard option for ALL sandwiches on their menu. No extra cost! To my keto-ers out there: the unwich will be your saving grace.

First off, I have to give credit to the delivery team, doe. They are so fast. Blows my mind. Secondly, I ordered the vegetarian hoagie. This is a terrible option. My good pal is vegetarian and got me to finally admit veggie options are sometimes the best options. But this, no way. not a chance. Virtually sprouts and cucumber and helmens mayo. Everyone loves a good sandwich. Jimmy Jawn's veggie is a bust. It tastes like scrapped veggies on a role with too much mayo. Work for my love, Jimmy Johns. Plz

Can't go wrong with Jimmy Johns. They live up to their name of being freaky fast- eating in and with delivery, and the sandwiches are always so so yummy. Occasionally they'll do fun promos like $1 sub day which I can totally get behind. Prices on a normal day are great, too. And where else can you get a delicious fresh, whole pickle, cut any way you'd like?

I think I've had enough of this place. The management must be bad or something. Jimmy John's food is basically the same at any location. The only complaint about the food is when they deliberately put a ton of mayo on. My problems with this store: -They are always playing death metal and its really not the ambiance you want when you are eating. -Dirty tables when the place is empty. What else are you doing? Singing along to the death metal? -The time when this lady was not the cashier, but taking peoples orders as far as 4 people back in line. Just a big mess. -The biker delivery people talking super loud. Another thing about these bikers is I see them going super slow delivering food. One time this dude came and left 3 times within a span of 10 minutes for some reason when he should have been delivering people's food. -All the people who use the store as their shortcut. I saw this one dude bring his old bent cup in the store to fill it up. I guess he couldn't afford a new cup so he saved his and brought it with him and then left. I do have to say that the bathrooms are always very clean. Something needs to be done about that death metal and the cocky staff.

Nice place, really fast service they make your food before you have the chance to finish paying for it. they use bike messengers for delivery's and I think that's pretty cool. food tastes great and is reasonably priced. 5 stars.

  • Reem K.

Jimmy John's does not have good sandwiches at all. Their meat isn't fresh at all and does not taste good and their vegetables aren't fresh either. You can taste that their tomatoes are old and their lettuce is not juicy and fresh like it should be. If you call to order they take around 40 minutes to deliver but when you order online they deliver it in 10 minutes or less...that's the only reason I'm giving it 2 stars.

    (2)
  • Christian L.

Consistent, Good bread, Good sub, and literally "freaky fast" as their slogan says and for a sub it is just about as good as it gets except they do not do wheat bread... sigh but yea its worth doing.

  • Anthony W.

Eh, I had a turkey BLT one day and it was alright. It was my first time at Jimmy John's I just wanted to check it out. Everyone greeted me and I thought it was strange, but hey it's better than not being greeted like Wendy's around the corner. I don't really dig hoagies too much so I really appreciate some of the competition's gimmicks a little more (toasters, special sauce, crazy peppers). Jimmy John's was like a straight up hoagie I could've gotten anywhere, but minus the Amoroso.

    (3)
  • Dana B.

In agreement with Matt L., Jimmy John's, in my personal opinion, is average at best. It's good for when I just want a plain and simple turkey and cheese sub with nothing extra on it, but the best part is that when they say "freaky fast," they mean it! Their subs are made in 30 seconds! It does get crowded around lunch time though, but the line moves very quickly. They also had an open mic there one night as a fundraiser for the Temple Singer Songwriters and Musicians Association. I performed, and it was a blast! Hope they have another one soon.

    (4)
  • Marie M.

I don't know what these other people are complaining about. The sandwiches are fresh and the bread is better than what is used at Wawa or Sheetz. Not expensive either. The staff is so friendly, they remember you if you've been there a few times and they're incredibly efficient. It's definitely worth a shot, better sandwiches than what you'll find at the sac or in the gross lunch trucks. The place is clean, the bathrooms are always spotless. The atmosphere is nice too, they always have classic rock playing.

    (5)
  • Dominic J.

Very delicious cold subs. I first had them in my office when one of their sales guy gave us few samples. Turkey Tom is my favorite. I was stuck at work not able to grab my lunch, all I did was call Jimmy Johns and placed an order. It was delivered with in few minutes. Amazingly fast!

    (4)
  • Amanda G.

Even though the only time I've actually BEEN to Jimmy John's was when they had a $1.00 sub special, I have to give them props for what just happened... Every semester loyal Jimmy John's staffers go to the Temple buildings and give the employees free half sandwiches. They let you pick - veggie, turkey, etc. I always take a veggie sandwich (which I choose soley because I like the taste) and move along with my day. Today I forgot my lunch, but it just so happened to be the day that the JJ folks were making their rounds! When they came to my office door I cried out with glee, "This is perfect! I forgot my lunch today!" The friendly folks gave me TWO free sammies instead of one. They told me to keep it hush, hush, but I was just so thankful that I had to write a review. I've never made a real effort to get something from them for lunch, but I think I'm going to start. They even deliver! So, JJ supervisors - when you read this review, don't be mad at your folks for giving me an extra sandwich...it has earned you a future customer! What a nice thing to have so close to Temple U. :)

  • Cori F.

Every Friday, a group of teachers from my school order delivery though the website. It still amazes us that the lunch order will arrive within a few minutes. They aren't kidding when they advertise "freaky fast" delivery. The sandwiches themselves are always delicious. Everything tastes fresh and we're never disappointed. My only real complaint is that I don't like kettle chips and that's the only style they sell. Not really an issue if you think about it. When you order online, you can be sure that everything is correct and that they didn't mishear you which is a common problem when I've ordered from other places. You can also put a name to each item and the bill will itemize and give individual totals making it easy to split.

I always forget how much I love Jimmy John's until I take a bite out of one of their amazingly fresh, delicious sandwiches. One of my favorite things about this place: they really ARE "freaky fast." They'll be finished with your order before you even break out your wallet to pay. We ordered delivery from here tonight and I went to use the bathroom after we made the order. No sooner had I flushed when the phone rang, signaling the arrival of our sandwiches. Great for busy people, or extremely hungry people. That alone is worth at least a star. And the sandwiches. Customizable heaven, I tell you. They are extremely accurate, no matter how many modifications you ask for, which is more than I can say about other places. I love the Turkey Tom. My boyfriend loves the Ultimate Porker. Fresh, delicious cold subs. Sometimes, it's just what you need. My favorite topping's the peppers. So they don't have the largest variety of ingredients, but what they do have, they work well with.

    (4)
  • Rita M.

Unpretentious, no-frills, straightforward. JJ's is great for students and anyone on a budget or in a hurry. I appreciate the "Slim" options, sandwiches with just meat and cheese for only $3.50. For hungrier days, I recommend the Hunter Club and the Beach Club. These subs are not the most amazing sandwiches, but JJ's gets an A+ for speedy preparation and fast delivery.

    (3)
  • Isabella L.

I was kind of skeptical when I first went to JJ's, but they've made me a super fan! This location was always relatively uncrowded and you get your sandwich super fast. The price is on point and the people are always really nice. Things that I had to get over when I first started coming to JJs was the fact they only have mustard in to go packets and they don't put pickles on the sandwiches. However, I got over it fast because I LOVE the soft bread, the alfalfa sprouts, and cucumbers I get with my turkey and cheese. It just has a clean and fresh taste I really enjoy. Jimmy John, please come over to L.A. - you will make big $$ here!

    (5)
  • Kelly P.

as another reviewer stated, they are consistent. ridiculously fast delivery. and all of the delivery persons i have met are cool.

  • Michele H.

I love Jimmy Johns one of the best places on campus! Very friendly staff and very efficient and quick, good if your in a hurry! Four about 6$ I can get a shandwich, soda, chips and a cookie, the place is very nice inside but don't think its a place to study in...they play loud music which can be a good study distraction while your on a food run. I will continue to eat here!

    (5)
  • Jim A.

Jimmy johns is great. Reasonably good sandwiches and delivery time can't be beat. I've received a sandwich in under 6 minutes. You get what you pay for, in a very fast manner! The only reason I didn't give it that last star was because it's just regular sandwiches. Lets get some gourmet sandwiches in there! some seasoning goes a long way!

    (4)
  • D M.

Not the most impressive variety of sandwiches and the menu is fairly limited, but they are fast, the place is clean, and what they do, they do it well. I always feel bad for the biker delivery guys but they never complain.

    (4)
  • Melissa M.

Not as awesome as they claim to be. Just a regular sandwich with regular lunchmeat. Maybe it's considered a fantastic late night meal/snack to the drunk college kids in the area, but for a working professional such as myself, it's nothing I can't get at a local mom and pop store. I'd rather have Quiznos.

    (2)
  • Pauline S.

I like to get the turkey tom and add oregano and onions. This is a spot I would go to after the gym. The bread is delicious but can be a bit oily at times. The portion is just right if you are slightly hungry but if you are very hungry you may feel like it's just short of enough. Sometimes I want to double the length of my sandwich and other times I just feel like it's too bland for my mood. The chips are good too.

    (3)
  • Matt L.

Be prepared to get exactly what you expect. You will not be thrilled, nor will you be disappointed. No frills sandwiches made from solid ingredients with an emphasis on speed. Hilariously labeled paper products (who doesn't like the word "DRINK" on cups and "WIPE" on napkins?) Two types of bread, about 6 kinds of sandwiches (multiplied by various combinations of the meats). Cookies, chips and pickles. That's it. My only beef: as a default, they gut the long rolls even if you don't get lettuce. I guess the idea is that it'll more easily fit the fixings (and you won't have things squirting out the side when you bite down), but when you don't get lettuce the squeeze out problem is avoided. I dunno, very minor and specific problem, but it's the only place I can think of where you order a hoagie and you need to request that they don't tear half the bread out while they're making it.

    (3)
  • Foodimus M.

This place serves, caters, and delivers decent sandwiches with lightning speed. I think their staff tee-shirts now even read with a slogan something like "Delivery so fast it's scary." And it is. Seriously. How did you know I wanted that sandwich and show up at the door before I hung up the phone? After ordering it in the shop once, I realized it's because they MAKE the sandwiches with lighting speed too. I guess with four ingredients average in each sandwich it's not that difficult to bang it out in five seconds flat (that's what she said?). As a consequence of having few ingredients and being made hurriedly, they don't have much flavor and aren't exceptional sandwiches, but they aren't that bad for you and they taste ok. Anyway, at least it's better than pizza.
