i saw a large ad in front of the dunkin donuts place inside the 30th street station for iced coffee. It looked good on the poster and I wanted some coffee so I decided to give dunkin donuts a shot. I ordered a small iced coffee with sugar and whole milk and lo and behold, it was one of the worst iced coffees I have ever had :(. I was suspicious of the drink based on appearance from the clear murky light brown color. It tasted like it didn't have enough milk, the coffee was pretty watered down, there was too much sugar in it, and there was this strange hint of berry flavor in it. I'm usually not the type of person to care for whether customer service people are super friendly or not but, the lady at the counter looked like and acted like she really didn't want to be there. I mean it's 4pm and all so I understand you want to go home, but that coupled with the terrible iced coffee, I'm never getting coffee here again. Maybe I'll come back here for a donut one day.

#279 Relatively clean, friendly staff. The munchkins I picked up for my Amtrak ride were deliciously soft and warm, chewy and sweet. I'm not a fan of their coffee for some reason, but the one I did pick up here did the trick.

Actually located near the 30th St Station, the Dunkin Donuts is a great place to pick up a quick fast donut and coffee for the morning commuters. Never had a problem with them - they're fast, efficient, and relatively cheap.

Don't kill me, but this coffee is better than Starbucks. Light and sweet, not a bold kick in the head with dense, bold coffee bean juice. And Starbucks' hot chocolate is like drinking melted chocolate bars, but DD's is a lot more like homemade. White Chocolate Hot Chocolate is way too sweet, though. For the perfect combo of milk and sugar in your coffee, you need to go to the one on 16th and Washington.

Even the coffee tastes like donuts. sometimes thats good, but most of the time it can be scary. But this good review isn't because of how I feel about it as a whole, it's because of how many times it saved me from walking into morning traffic like a mindless zombie. and besides this city loves it's DDs, so why fight it?

I've been to this dunkin donuts a million times. They are fast and pleasant. They also have all of the food items and coffees I like and can serve them quickly. The DD is suburban is good as well but they are pushy to call you in from outside of the store space. DD in 30th is very nice. I always stop here before getting on the train for my coffee. Good combos too. And I probably dont have to comment because everyone knows/likes dunkin! But for all who care - I love their hazelnut, the veggie egg white sandwich on an egg muffin, and the multigrain bagel w/veggie lite cream cheese

People saying this is the best coffee in the city is a shame. I mean, compared to Starbucks, Ok. But compared to Old City coffee or some of the Italian places in South Philly like Anthonys or La Colombe, there is no comparison. Better coffee and a better business philosophy all around. The three stars are for locations (everywhere) and a begrudging acceptance that it actually is pretty decent coffee.

I go to the Passyunk location, and the service is five stars. Always a smile with your donut, even if you're in a hurry and irritable and really don't deserve one. I'm with the hoi palloi---better, way better coffee than S-Bucks. (I don't know if I'd call it my favorite cup in Philly, though, but for what it is, and for the price, it is commendable.) I like the flavored coffees as well. You're not paying for plush seating or for the pressing of S-Bucks branded mix CDs. No nonsense ambiance. You're in, you get you're coffee, and you're out. I also love their egg sandwiches, on bagel OR croissant. Some of the tastiest I've had---and I've had ALL the street vendors.

I have engaged in a battle with my roommate and many others concerning the better breakfast sandwich: The WaWa Sizzlie or the Dunkin Donut bacon/sausage, egg and cheese. To me its no contest, DD's sandwich wins with a first round KO. I'm not a big coffee drinker so I DO come here for the food and I have only been disappointed one time...I'll leave out the details. The staff at most of their locations are usually pretty friendly as well. Once, at approximately 2 am, I went into a DD (somewhere around 12th and Market) with a Donut craving and a broken cell phone. By the time I left both were taken care of. Not only was the guy working a Dunkin Donuts counter-guy, but also was able to fix my phone. Amazing.

One of the big 'must haves' every time I come to the east coast! I absolutely love their iced lattes. Even in the winter, I will get a large one and suck it down. Their hot lattes are just too sweet. I'm not a donut fan so I can't comment on those but their bagels are pretty good. I've also had their croissantwiches a long time ago and they were super tasty but oh SO unhealthy. I'm not even sure they still have them to be honest. Their coffee is a big favorite around NJ, NY, etc., but I stick to their Caramel Swirl Iced Latte with fat free milk. They also have a Mocha Swirl and just the regular one too. All are very tasty! As far as this location, they made the lattes we ordered perfect - I didn't have to ask them to go easy on the caramel or for more milk, which is often the case when they make it too sweet. So bravo! BUT, the kid ringing me up tried to screw me! I gave him a 20 and he was supposed to give me $12 change...he did some weird thing pretending to give me $17 and then took $5 back, leaving me with $7. I of course didn't notice, but he I guess felt bad for my blond self and reprimanded me for not checking and showed me what he did and told me to watch out. "You're in the big city now little girl." Nice that he taught me a lesson but a little scary that he knew how to do that and did it so flawlessly!!!

I absolutely agree with Caitlin and Kat... this is my favorite cup of coffee in Philly, I'm embarrassed to admit. I'm not ashamed to say that this is wine to Starbuck's water. I'll never eat ANYTHING at Dunkin Donuts - okay, maybe Munchkins once a year... but on cold days in the city, there's never one far away. I like the fact, as environmentally incorrect as it is, that they use Styrofoam cups. I also like that they do the cream/sugar for you... (though they use Half & Half, which is half the secret to good coffee/getting fat). I've made it six months without one, but if this cold keeps up... I might grab one today.

I know I should tuck my tail, but damn it: I LOVE DUNKIN' DONUTS. First off, many of the locations are open 24/7, beat that Starbucks. Secondly, there is absoloutly no air of pretention. Just honest people makin' a cup a joe. The coffee is made fresh every 11 minutes, and it never tastes burnt. Given the choice, I'd grab Dunkin' any day.

I fucking love D'n'D's!!! I think it's definitely a native East Coasters facination. I lived in SF for a few years and they didn't have any Dunkin Donuts out there which made me very sad, so, I had my coffee shipped to me from Massachusetts! Now back on the East Coast, with D'n'D's in hand, I hope I will never be sad again!

Don't get me wrong, I love Wawa Sizzlies (especially in south Jersey where you can get Taylor Ham, aka "pork roll"). But Dunkin's sandwiches are available all day long, and made fresh to order. And you can order an egg-and-cheese with no meat if you're vegetarian, or just want to pretend that you're being healthy. I was worried today, because even though it's September, there were St. Patrick's Day sprinkles on all the donuts. But then I realized that they're green and white for the Eagles. I guess people weren't kidding when they warned me how hardcore Philadelphia is about sports. Damn. I mean, I lived in Boston for years, and we never got red sprinkles for the Sox.

Dunkin Donuts is the fast food chain king of donuts. Krispy Kreme has a better donut, but you will pay a little more, they are harder to come by, and there is not much beyond donuts and drinks at a Krispy Kreme. This is not to say the donuts are not good at Dunkin. They are pretty tasty. You can find specialty places that are by far better. But, like with Krispy Kreme, you are likely to pay the price and they are hard to find. For the right price, Dunkin's donuts hit the spot. I like their Coffee Drinks just as much as anything at the more gourmet chain, Starbucks. I also like the average at best breakfast sandwiches. They have this new spicy sausage one that I got and really liked. As long as you know what you are getting, you know you are getting your money's worth. If you are more picky, this is not the place for you.

The DD inside 30th Street Station near the McDonalds is fine - the one up by SEPTA is a bit grosser. All in all - they are the same-old-same-old DD we all know. I get my occaisional Iced decaf french vanilla with lowfat milk and a splenda here on my way to the train. Nice Indian-American staff move as quickly as they can during the rush. I give them alot of credit!

I went to the Dunkin donuts in 30th street station to get a quick bite to eat before I went to catch my bus. It was definitely not quick by any means. The employees were professional but the service was very slow and for no apparent reason. All of the ones I go to in NY have quick service. There may be some disconnect given at this one you can't actually see them prepare the food (maybe they move slower because of it or maybe it feels longer because you can't watch as they do it). Nevertheless they were in no rush to get people out of there. You would think they would be more efficient given people are usually on some type of timeline. Anyway, I got the new chicken apple sausage sandwich. I switched the American cheese for cheddar and it was actually pretty tasty! I also ordered an orange juice -it was really overpriced but still good. There are plenty of other places in 30th to get food (like Cosi next door) but that line is pretty much always long. But given how long it took to get our food I think I'll just give Cosi a try next time!

Went here today to celebrate National Donut Day, which has been around since 1938. Dunkin Donuts requires a "beverage purchase", making it anything but free. They have trounced on a long-held tradition in the name of grabbing as much money as they can with their greasy sugar-coated claws. Krispy Kreme is giving out free donuts, showing cheapskates like DD how it's done right. DD, even a free munchkin would have been honoring the special day. I'll buy my donuts elsewhere.

This is located inside the 30th Street Station. The iced coffee was good - almost as good as McD's version. Service was fast & friendly on this occasion. We had an issue with a very impatient male worker on a previous visit.

At the station, first thing in the morning, most people just want to get their coffee and keep trudging along on their path to their train. Dunkin' Donuts has several locations in the massive building, but nothing too impressive. Both locations have the typical fare (one is located in the main food court hallway and the other one past the Septa ramp), and are run by some friendly folks. Unfortunately, they are woefully incapable of handling the morning rush at the main food court location, having caused me to almost miss my train before. What really shocked me was their ability to make the bagels/sandwiches for the folks who ordered after me before they got out my plain bagel with butter. Really? But still, all isn't lost, as they provide much needed nourishment in the wee hours of the morning. Pro Tip: The one past the SEPTA ramp tends to have shorter lines and faster service, although Cosi or Old Nelson's Deli are still the top two in the 'speed' category.

Love Dunkin coffee and the location is very convenient, but the employees need to work on customer service. They get kinda rude when you use coupons/promos and it's not uncommon to see them act like you're annoying them.

Creepy staring much? At least they got my drink right.
