This location has been my go-to spot since the DD in the Gallery closed (the whole building under renovation). Good: - Small, busy shop - but the two lines (if there is one) move quickly. - Great location by train station. Minimize sidewalk coffee spills on the way to station! Eh: - Staff efficient, but not as friendly as other locations. - Staff tends to withhold receipt at times if you don't ask for it. I want my survey and free donut! Tip: - Get the DD app - there are often coupons and pay via app option ... great if you're already juggling a phone, bag, and coffee. - Be nice to these guys ... they're at one of the busier locations and the do a good job! It's my "splurge" when I need to take mass transit to work! :)

My wife and I were on vacation the 4th of July weekend. And while walking back to the hotel decided to stop for a quick snack and we saw the Duncan donut sign so we thought we knew we would at the least have a decent quick take out meal. 1st the counter person that waited on us looked uninterested then a second counter person came over an as the one was taking our order they kept conversing with each other and we had to repeat our order. Then we were looking forward to a smoothie it was hot that day and we had a sandwich. Then I believe it was the mgr cooking and he looked disinterested just as the counter people. He made some comment in another language then gave us our order. We took the meal back to our room. Ok now the food THe Smoothie was terrible watery not sweet The sandwich tasted like processed rubberized meat So needless to say ROOM Service was our next order. Thank God for our food at the hotel was great. More money but at lease we enjoyed it. Bottom line if you hungry and you are near this location Fast for that day.

You could think there's not a lot to a Dunkin Donuts, but then when you visit one that's not quite up to par it becomes very obvious. I was at the Philadelphia Convention Center for a conference and so this was a convenient choice for quick breakfast or midday tea. I agree with other reviewers that some of the meh-quality of this DD is the clientele, which is not their fault. But there is also the meh-level service and confusion during the ordering process that isn't ideal. There are other locations near enough that I would choose over this one.

Not enough space to sit down for breakfast, staff was friendly but coffee was little week.

It's pretty much your typical Dunkin Donuts store conveniently located in the Market East station. Store could have been a little cleaner and staff could have been a little friendlier, but food and drinks have come out just like they do a Dunkin Donuts stores I've gone to in the suburbs.

This is the worst place I have ever been too. I order a #12 - ham and cheese roll. Here's the conversation that followed: Me: Hi, can I have a #12? DD: Ham, egg and cheese sandwich? Me: No egg. Ham and cheese roll. DD: Ham, egg and cheese sandwich? Me: No... it's a ham and cheese roll. DD: Oh, the roll? Me: Yes. DD: Do you want anything to drink with that? Me: Well, it says it comes with tea. DD: Hot or iced? Me: Uh, well, can I get hot? DD: It comes with iced... Seriously?! That was such a bad transaction. I am a loud speaker too, so it wasn't that he didn't hear me. He thought I was stupid. I finally get my ordered taken and then six people that ordered after me got their order because they didn't "want to go get any rolls." My friend got a hot tea and they didn't have any sugar, creamer or anything, plus they didn't ask if she wanted it. So, so awful.

This Dunkin Donuts gets three stars for its location and hours. When traveling from the Market East train station on weekends, it is often the only food place in the building that is open. If you need some bread-stuff that loosely resembles a bagel before you begin your journey, stop in here. The food is no better or worse than any other Dunkin Donuts, so I imagine that if you really like their food generally, you'll be satisfied here. Be prepared that the staff here cannot comprehend that you don't want coffee with your order. To avoid repeating your order five times, if you are in a hurry, it's best to just order a drink.

Sorry to say that this isn't my favorite place. Part of it is due to the location and the people in the neighborhood (not the fault of DD) and part is due to their poor selection of non-coffee drinks. The employees are nice (though turnover seems high) and it's a good enough place to wait in while before the bus shows up.

One of the ways I celebrate after running the Philadelphia marathon was that of Dunkin Donuts. I rarely have donuts, if at all, so having them after a well earned marathon finish was a treat and a half. Here in Philadelphia, home of the cheesesteak and soft pretzels, I ended up rewarding myself with Dunkin Donuts and it was a good experience. Like a kid in a candy store experience for me, it was one of those experiences that would be one to remember. After having dinner at Moriarty's Irish Bar and Pub on Walnut Street, I walked here on tired legs and need a nice reward for a hard earned finish. This slice of heaven is located on Market Street, near. 11th Street in city center. It was a Sunday evening and about 5:30pm and nobody was there. Cool, no line, I thought. This Dunkin Donuts location was perfect to get my treat and reward on. I was wearing my Philadelphia marathon finishers medal on, but I didn't expect to get a extra reward because of it. The order was simple: 4 donuts at $.99 each, but the dude at the counter rang me up for 3. I was sort of confused, whether or not it was discounted after a certain time. But after the guy at the counter told me that he had given me a discount. I was randomly and pleasantly surprised when that happened. Made my day for sure. I would like to believe that it was my wearing the Philadelphia marathon finisher medal that sparked that exchange. Most likely for sure. I had gotten the 2 Boston ones, the strawberry glazed one, the chocolate glazed one. I must say that Dunkin Donuts is pretty good and not just your run of the mill donut shop. I guess that's why their slogan is "America runs on Dunkin." They have many locations throughout the US, just like McDonalds and Starbucks. They're everywhere and that's pretty amazing! My experience here at this Dunkin Donuts was above average, given that I was wearing my Philadelphia marathon finishers medal at the time of the transaction. The service was good and fast. Nothing like a donut or two on a quiet Sunday night to enjoy the spoils of running a marathon 6 hours before, eh? Recommended where Dunkin Donuts is and hope to be back sometime in Philadelphia in the near future. Support local! A+

The service was friendly and we got our drinks very quickly and they were correct and yummy! I'm not sure how much business they get due to their location inside but they def didn't disappoint.

The coffee tastes as if it is watered down. I couldn't figure out why the coffee tasted so different at this particular one but, after talking to others who work in the building, we figured that they watered down the coffee. It tastes weak and watery. This location is downstairs from where I work but I would rather, and do often, get my coffee from the Dunkin at 12th Chestnut.

I visit this Dunkin Donuts every morning. Does it sometimes get chaotic? Yes- its attached to Market East and the Convention Center , so during busy times, you may actually have to wait a few minutes to put your order in. The workers here remember who I am (probably because I am there every weekday prior to work, sometimes twice if I am having a particularly bad day) - and know my order. For those of you who are knocking stars off this place for homeless people being inside the store- I will say the manager is always working to make sure whoever is sitting in there is a paying customer and no one is trying to beg for money inside the store. Its a dunkin donut in market east - not much the store itself can do regarding the people who frequent the area...

Convenient for my commuters but the homeless people camping there is awful. The amount of times I've seen one of them p*ssing, sh*ting or puking in front of the door is astounding. The police either can't or won't do anything about them. Avoid this typhoid dump.

I'm not sure what I can say about DD that people don't already know. This location is convenient, and that's the main reason I visit it. There always tends to be bums lingering, and the trash is consistently overflowing. Sure, the service is mostly quick, and the coffee is tasty, but there's so many other places in the vicinity.

The workers here are apathetic and lazy and I was really disgusted with their behavior. I felt like they just wanted to close up shop (it was like 4pm) and they were just mumbling the whole time. My coffee was fine but I would never want to come back here, even if it meant walking a few more blocks to another DD's.

This is the one DD that almost always gets something wrong about my order. I only go here if I am running late to work and this is the last place I can get a coffee in a rush. Ex: I ordered a large peppermint mocha coffee with cream and sugar. I tasted it before I left (they messed up my order quite a few times). Of course they gave me a regular coffee. I brought this to the cashiers attention and was then immediately told by another employee that there was peppermint mocha in there. Its a simple thing that doesn't mean much in the large scheme of things but if you want to consistently get what you pay for, I would opt for Another DD or coffee location.

Ugh this place... I dont know what the employees problem is but they really need get that stick out of their $%^!!! It's mainly these two female employees... umm disgruntled much? Just because they're getting paid their under the table minimum wage doesnt mean they have to take it out on others. If you mess up my order, fix it! The other day, I ordered a muffin and had it heated. The one girl heats it up and globs on all this butter. I tell her nicely that I didnt order a muffin with butter. She throws it in the trash, makes a scene to her manager, reheats another muffin. I go to get the bag from her hand, but she just drops it on the counter before it even gets to me. Ewww rude. They need to do their job, smile, and gimme my coffee. Thank you.

There really isn't anything wrong with this place. It's a Dunkin Donuts and it's exactly what you expect when you hear the name: quick, easy, tasty. This place is great and super-close to the Philadelphia Marriott Downtown (enter in the door just to the right of the Hard Rock Cafe's door), which is where I always stay when I'm in Philly. There are usually long lines here, but they always move with lightning speed. I think the employees are diligent and efficient. And pleasant, even, which I daresay is more than you could normally expect from a fast-food donut joint. They also post their calorie count of each of the menu items now, so it's a lot harder to pretend you're not eating your entire day's allotment of calories in one sitting. I do wish they'd let me put in my own half and half, and that they'd keep the Splenda stocked (Equal and Sweet & Low are nasty!). I typically don't eat donuts, but enjoy their egg and cheese croissant. And their iced coffee is heaven on earth. I could drink it every day, all day long. It's so much better than Starbucks' coffee and the line---although still pretty long---is nowhere near what you'll face at the Marriott Starbucks during a conference, which really just has to be seen to be believed!

I just wanted to commend the employees at this dunkin donuts for doing such a kick ass job of handling the morning rush. I'm not a regular, I go in maybe once every 2 weeks on my way to work, but every time this is what happens. I go in and the line is wrapped around almost to the door. Based on how busy it is, you would think you'll be waiting for a while. In reality it's the opposite. You better know what you want coming in because before you know it, one of the 3-4 cashiers are calling for the next customer and it's you. Not only do they get people through the line to take orders quickly, but the order comes out just as fast. I am always impressed with how quickly and efficiently the whole place is run. Oh and my order is always made perfectly, delicious breakfast flatbread sandwich and perfectly sweetened iced coffee. TL;DR (too long, didn't read): This Dunkin Donuts is super fast and efficient, and they make delicious breakfast flatbreads and iced coffee! The perfect place to stop on your way to work, in and out in about 3 minutes. Ok, so I also want to address some of the other reviews. 1. "There always tends to be bums lingering." - Every time I have been there, the only "bum" I have seen is a very nice gentleman who holds the door open for everyone and yes, he does ask for change, but he is not pushy at all and I've never felt bothered by him. 2. "The trash is consistently overflowing." - I've never noticed that. I usually don't have trash though since I take my bag with me to my office. 3. "Disgruntled employees." - All of the reviews about bad employees are not recent so perhaps the management has done away with the bad employees and hired better ones. My experience has been that the employees are really friendly, always smile and always fill my order without mistakes.

I gave two stars instead of one because sometimes it's not that bad. sometimes. the employees all stand around and have this look on their face like they have no friggin' clue what's going on. they move slow like they might break if they went any faster. they have no idea how to multi-task (I was waiting over 10 minutes for a 99cent egg and cheese wrap that could have easily been made alongside everyone elses food but while everyone else got their food before me that ordered after me ... I was still waiting staring at the girl who didn't seem like she knew how to do her job). and I'm not being harsh...I worked at a dunkin donuts when I was 16 so I know how this place is supposed to work and as a teenager at her first job I accomplished more on the sandwich line then they can here. I'll only go here if I'm catching an early train at market east and the gallery isn't opened yet. the dunkin donuts near the food court is fast and courteous.

These guys are so helpful. I get stuff there for meetings, for breakfast, for lunch and for snacks and they are always friendly. Other DD give you trouble for using your credit card and these guys never do. I appreciate their friendly attitudes and good service.
