Running crazy late to the train. Then waiting, as it is running late. Good thing I had time to walk around the terminal as nearly all of the other options looked inedible. The Mac and Cheese may be Oprah's favorite as someone else alluded to, but I found it overpriced. It was super creamy but lacked seasoning. The greens were pretty good and the black eyed peas ok but a bit grainy as if cooked too fast, so they started to break down prior to getting hydrated. Maybe the best of a bad situation?

I didn't know of the Oprah connection, which explains the ridiculous 12 dollar price for ONE piece of chicken (true, it's a big piece, but I was expecting two for the price) and two sides. I do like fried chicken, mac n' cheese, and yams, so thought I'd try some. The chicken was good, although I would have liked two pieces for my money. It was not salty at all and I had to sprinkle some on. I would have liked it cooked saltier but am willing to forgive this as some people really hate salty chicken. The yams were OK (hard to mess up a yam). The mac n' cheese, I'm sorry to say, was about as boring as everything else Oprah ever touts. I am not sure what type of cheese was placed on this dish but it was very bland and sourish. Nothing like the beloved Stouffer's of my youth or the various flavorful, hot gourmet varieties out there in recent years. The waitress lady was very nice, calm, had a pretty face, was wearing a hair net and did not seem the least bit put upon to be stuck there serving during a holiday weekend. I will likely go back but this time I'll spend my money on two pieces of the chicken, or try the other meats, and skip the overpriced, overrated cheesy mac.

Discovered the best mac & cheese in the country according to Oprah, at Delilah's. The fried chicken and mashed potatoes were good, but didn't live up to my expectations. I would say the macaroni and cheese would be worth the trip, at least once. I would recommend getting the catfish next time -- now that was amazing!

I was super hungry and Delilah's (at 30th Street Station) actually looked good to me tonight so I got a chicken leg/thigh (fried) for $3.50 and a small mac 'n cheese ($5.00) and I gotta say - they were both great. The mac, I still think is over-rated - but the fried chicken was not over-salted this time and was greasy but not disgustingly so. For whatever reason - it worked better for me tonight.

I've traveled through 30th Street Station many occasions and usually stick to Cosi, but one day a few weeks ago I stumbled upon Delilah's and saw a big pan of chicken with gravy and onions and said to my self 'thats what I'm having for dinner!' The first time I ate here, it was amazing. The chicken was breaded in a rich and creamy gravy with onions in it. (note that they serve both smothered fried chicken, and fried chicken) I paired it with turnip greens and black eyed peas. The turnip greens were deliciously bitter (I like my greens on the bitter side), but the black eyed peas lacked any flavor of sorts. The second time I came there, I skipped the beans and had the Potato Salad, which was VERY good; made with eggs, relish and what I call "southern love". The third time I came, the smouthern fried chicken was lacking any decent amount of gravy that it had the first two times I came there, and they made it with peppers and onions which completely changed the flavor of the whole dish. I had mashed potatoes that time which were way too rich, that i couldn't even eat them, but I did have the southern style macaroni salad made with eggs, relish, and tuna fish- and it was out of this world. I think this place is a hit or miss. They usually will let you try stuff before you buy, so remember, things are made fresh every day, and by different people, so If you go there once, and it's a flop, go there another day at a different time, and you'll see the difference. It's a shame though, they can't find a way to be consistent, but that's Delilah's. Enjoy

Definitely was influenced to buy due to the Oprah recommendation, oh that O and her ways... Well I must say that for what I received the prices were pretty pricey :/. $5 for a small mac&cheese which by the way was not to my liking. As a mac & cheese enthusiast I found it to be soggy , the noodles fell apart and lacked a distinct and creamy cheesy flavor. As for the chicken I actually enjoyed it. Definitely good fried chicken but not for $8 a breast, but don't quote me on the price. I am sure that I paid $3.50 for a meaty wing and that was worth it, enjoyed the seasoning and crisp bite. I would have ordered another piece if it was not so pricey.

Why, Delilah, won't you make your kitchen staff wear hair nets? I've been three times. The 1st time I found hair in my mac, I calmly let them know about the problem. Same with the second. Figuring the problem had been rectified, I tried a third time and failed. Yes, folks, hair again, and no it wasn't mine. I didn't think lightening could strike 3 times, but I'm living proof. Maybe I could find the food delicious if I could get it sans hair. Avoid her venues like the plague, people!

Boo, what a waste! This was the worst soul food (if you can call it that) platter I've ever had. I bought a catfish platter with two sides which were collard greens and yams. First off, for twelve dollars they only give you one piece of fish which is damned near unheard of, you usually get at least 2 pieces. The catfish was fired okay and wasn't dried out but lacked much flavor, the greens had even less flavor. These were the most bland greens I've ever eaten in my life plus they had grit in them. The yams were blah as well. If I could give zero stars I would, I refuse to believe that this is the quality of Southern cuisine that Ms Delilah Winder would serve to her family. I would have been better off getting a platter outside at Gigi and Big R's truck.

The Mac and cheese is horrible. This food is horrible. Thumbs down. No bueno. Should of rocked with a fast food joint.
