I love this place they deliver a fashion. The pork egg rolls are awesome, the fried dumplings are definitely worth it I order from here once a week

I ordered from this place after looking for a decent place close to my Germantown home since none of the roxborough or mt. airy places that I frequent would deliver to me. Suprisingly, their vegetable fried rice was really good. It was actually full of vegetables and not just a few peas. I ordered the broccli in garlic sauce with fried tofu, The tofu was over cooked but the broccli was acceptable. Obviously not the best chinese food I've had but not the worst. Its ok in a pinch and I might give them another chance with the tofu. Everybody has an off night.

The menu on yelp is not the menu at the restaurant. When did fried rice become warmed, yellow rice? My introduction to Chinese food came in California, so this does not compete. Good enough if not wanting to travel to Chinatown in Center City.

I did not care for this place at all. Nothing was edible everything from General tso to vegetable LO mein drowned in grease! The chicken itself was not crispy but mushy as if you let it sit for a half hour before you started to eat it. Food was very hot and delivery was fast they did not give many codiments but 7 soy sauce and 2 hot mustard 1 duck sauce. We spent $23 for a family special. Needless to say it wasn't tasty I wasn't happy with service and I will not re-order from this place again. There is another China House in roxbourough i don't know if they are related but the food at that location is of much better quality.

Your average Chinese-American spot. I always try the chicken and broccoli as if the chicken would be less chewy but it never works. Everything else is pretty okay just make sure you stay away from the chicken.

They deliver to my house, & in a timely manner: YAY! They only take cash: BOO! The sauces are very, very good -- the General Tso's was a nice mix of spicy & sweet, the Beef with Broccoli was flavorful. It's not one of those places that has one suace and changes it a bit for different dishes. The broccoli was not over-done, just a little softer than I'd like, but brightly colored. The chicken in the General Tso's was good (obviously chicken), the coating was a really soggy -- but soggy in the yummy sauce so I didn't care too much. The chicken in the Lo Mein and the beef in the Beef with Broccoli could've been the same meat -- sliced thin, slightly rubbery, not really great. Lo Mein had extra vegetables compared to most Chicken Lo Mein, but was missing that vaguely charred/sauteed flavor that I'm looking for in Lo Mein. They gave us three extra egg rolls. The egg rolls were under-filled, but still tasty. It's better than Lucky Garden, but not as good as Chung Hing. We will probably order again, and I will see if asking for 'crispy' General Tso's makes a difference. Price is cheap -- always a bonus.

This place is good. Bottom line. The best part?! You can see them cutting fresh chicken and beef up. Hey could be for them but good to see it, nonetheless! Lol They do not give a lot of condiments! Uggh I love me some duck sauce! But for a family size dinner u literally get two of each...like really!? That's Ok though, still good food! Egg rolls? To die for. Two thumbs up! And this is coming from someone who does not eat Chinese food but once every few months! Now? More like more of than 2x a month!

Their chicken plates are awesome, however, I would stay away from the beef here. What they do well, they do REALLY well. What they do bad, it's only okay. The hot and sour soup is probably the best I've had for a take out place also.

I order from this place all the time. But I pick up from Mt. Airy. The food varies by cook from good to pretty good. Not earth shattering Chinese, but dependable. The crispy duck and prawns with sesame sauce are favorites.

best restaurant in mt airy/germantown...seriously. not taking anything away from the quality of the place, it's a damn fine chinese joint. just taking a stab about the restaurant situation up here...its really sad. try coming up to gtown and ordering a pizza...you could make a living selling round cardboard cutouts smeared with catsup and nobody would know the difference.

I ordered delivery from these douchebags and after an hour of waiting for my food I called the restaurant to make sure the food was still going to be delivered (as we were now 30 mins beyond their last delivery time). They told me the food was on its way and should be there shortly, I thanked them and hung up to receive a call about 10 minutes later from the delivery driver who was apparently lost. Not only was he lost about 5 minutes from my house but he kept saying he doesn't know where I am and saying he couldn't deliver the food tonight, I told him I would meet him where he is if he would wait for me id be there in 5 minutes, he continued to say he didn't know where I was and then hung up on me. I tried calling back to explain to him I could meet him at the restaurant if he wants, its a 10 minute drive from my house requiring literally 2 turns and he says I don't know where you are I cannot deliver the food and hung up on me. F these guys!

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
