I had my wedding in Philadelphia on May 9th, and Chef's Table was our caterer. It was a small wedding with non-conventional reception for close friends and family members. Wedding was something I just wanted to get done and over with, planning was done poorly due to my lack of enthusiasm. I skipped and omitted most traditions but since all of our guests were either flying or driving hundreds of miles to the wedding, food was one thing I couldn't care less. I was living in NY during the planning stage, then my husband was away in the beginning of the year, it was only three weeks before the wedding when we finally had a taste of our menu. To my horror, I realize on the day of tasting that I had no option even if I didn't like the food. It would be far too late to book another caterer and I don't have the nerve to say no after having them do so much work. For tasting, we had requested two different dishes each for salad and main course which Chef's Table happily provided. I found myself in different kind of trouble because food was so delicious it was very hard for us to choose one. Chrys and Alexandra, your prompt and kind respond to my inquiries is very much valued. Thank you so much for being patient and working with someone who doesn't exactly know what I wanted. Alexandra was above and beyond, working not only as our event manager but also a coordinator and so much more, she was thorough and please to work with. Thanks to Chef's Table, my wedding was everything I had hoped for and I could not think of anything I wish I had done differently. I highly recommend Chef's Table to anyone seeking for a catering service, I would definitely use them again for my future event.

I am a private Jet broker. For the most part when I do a flight for my clients they will want some catering. This can range from a box of Oreos to Sushi to Lobster Threader and everything in between. On Aug 14 I placed an order for a client that will be flying out of the Philadelphia area on a private jet with Chefs Table. Four days before my trip goes off I get a call telling me they can't do the catering order as they will be closed. How unprofessional, I will never use them again nor recommend them to anyone. What a Joke !!!!

They have catered a few work events at my company. Service is excellent and food is very tasty. They have lots of options for food, especially for vegetarians. They are extremely accommodating and easy to work with. Christine is one of the event coordinators and she is excellent!

Delicious!!! We've used Chef's Table for a few film shoots - anywhere from 20 to 60 people - and my only complaint is that we don't always receive enough utensils. The food is outstanding - unique and gourmet without being pretentious, and everything seems to be healthy (no heavy oils or anything that I've tasted). Good portions. Seriously the best shoot lunches ever, and while I'm not the purchaser, I've been told they're completely affordable and much better priced than some of our regular options (Panera, Cosi, etc.)

I have been using Chef's Table for catering my office events for about six or so months now and I cannot say enough good things about them. They are professional, attentive and polite. The food is always great; I usually get the deluxe assorted sandwich platter with two side salads and cookies. My office guests are always complimenting the choices. I highly suggest trying them for an event.

Chef's Table is awesome. Working with Chrys is like working with a good friend (well, a good friend who is amazing when it comes to fabulous food and planning skills!). We have used Chrys for work receptions - sometimes for 50 people, sometimes for 100 people, sometimes for 400 people. Each and every time he has come through with awesome menus and food that is just wonderful. And if we run into a problem -- whether it's with linens, flowers, last minute changes, etc. -- he is right there to save the day. I need to emphasize how delicious the food is -- and how helpful, friendly and good-at-what-they do the staff is. And the dessert trays -- omg, so amazing! I always pray that we'll have fewer people than expected so the staff will get leftovers. Speaking of leftovers, Chrys and the staff always pack anything that's left and put it away for us. When I explain what my budget is, Chrys is very conscientious about keeping the cost exactly where we need it to be without ever skimping on quality and attention to detail. Do yourself a favor and call Chef's Table for your next event. You will be very happy. (And get yourself that European dessert tray -- you will be happier still!) p.s. If you ever need a special cake (not just for work - but personally) that will almost make people swoon, talk to Chrys about the black and white cake. For birthdays, weddings, retirement, showers, anniversary,, graduation, anything... this cake is like nothing you've ever tasted. It is so rich and so creamy and so special that I don't even know how to describe it. One taste and you'll know what I mean.

I recently had to plan an event for 150 people in Philadelphia on short notice, having never seen the venue. I picked Chef's Table at random, and I can't begin to tell you how happy I am that I did! From my very first phone call they were extremely helpful and attentive. They listened to my needs, made suggestions and even took the time to visit the venue to take table measurements and plan a layout since I was unable to do that from out of town. I could not be more pleased with how things turned out! The food was delicious, the servers on hand at the event were friendly and professional and none of our guests could believe that we'd planned the whole thing in just 3 weeks. I highly recommend Chef's Table!

We used Chef's Table for our wedding rehearsal dinner this past June. They were very responsive upon our initial contact and set up a tasting for us to make sure we were happy with our diner selections. We loved everything at the tasting, it was so nicely done. The staff spent so much time sitting with us while we ate, making sure we enjoyed everything, discussing changes and options, providing suggestions for how to make things even better, and all the while remaining very cost efficient. The week prior to the event they met us at our location which was the Sedgley Club at Boathouse Row. We did a short walk through and review of how things were going to run. They even offered to do the decor FOR US. We dropped off our own decorations and they put them up for us the day of the dinner. The service during the dinner was wonderful. We couldn't have asked for anything more. The staff as professional and extremely polite and friendly. They were on hand and helpful throughout the entire event. The food was amazing, guests are still talking about it. We had some cheese platters, antipasti, and wine/beer for a small cocktail reception. Before moving on to dinner which was buffet style. They served a delicious chicken, a pasta with button mushrooms, and crab meat wrapped with flounder. For desert we had a trio of chocolate dipped fruits, canolis, and tiramisu. We truly still have guests continuing to compliment us and rave about how wonderful the food was. We worked mainly with Christine throughout this process, she was on point answering emails, phone calls, and being wherever we needed her to be. She was on hand throughout the whole event making sure things ran smoothly. She was so attentive and polite throughout the entire process. I do not have one negative thing to say about this experience. Chef's Table was perfect and given the opportunity we would use them again in a heartbeat.

I had a dinner party Sunday I needed to bring a large quantity of meat for... I called chefs table Friday to see if they could accommodate and they could. I pick up a beef tenderloin Sunday afternoon with rolls, horseradish sauce and bernaise sauce-delicious! The meat was tender and juicy, cooked perfectly-would definitely use them again!
