Surprisingly, I'd never been here before even though it is just around the corner. The restaurant does not draw in many Penn students, even though it is right by campus. If you're looking for comfort food, this place definitely hits the spot. I was pleasantly surprised by the Rotisserie Chicken, which was fresh and juicy. A typical meal comes out to somewhere between $8-10, and includes two sides (choices of Mac and Cheese, String Beans, Mashed Potatoes, and others) and cornbread. Overall, for a fast food restaurant was pleasantly surprised. The food was tasty. It definitely exceeded my expectations. Would recommend to anyone looking for "Mama's Cooking" and a quick meal.

They are very slow. The manager, who was wearing a red shirt, trying to handle all the online orders. I place my order on- line 20 minutes before I arrived. Me and another customer arrived at the same time. that customer placed his order, received his food , and exited the restaurant before I received my online order that I paid for online. I don't know why the manager in the red shirt could not get off the phone and finish with my order. But she couldn't. Whoever she was talking to was more important than me standing at the counter for 10 minutes. I will never visit that store again and I recommend that you don't waste your time either.

Boston Market is higher quality fast food. The food is somewhat fresh. They make it and keep it heated, but it stays well and it's not day old stuff or anything. Compared to other fast food joints, it's better quality and healthier. And, it's pretty tasty. They also try to be more than an order and wait and carry it yourself spot. After you order your food, you get a number and head to your table. When the food is ready, they bring it to you. That's a step above your average fast food joint. I'm a fan, but it's still fast food. Don't expect something overly spectacular, but do expect some great bang for your buck.

Delicious. The quality of all the choices are all decent. The workers are some of the friendliest people. One guy once gave me a discount because I offered my friend to pay for her dinner. It was the sweetest thing.

If you're in a pinch and you want a meal that I is reminiscent of home, Boston Market is the go to place. Unfortunately, this place sometimes misses the mark. A couple days ago I ran here for dinner and they were all out of chicken. Yes, It was very late at night and I understand that but they ran out of chicken an hour before closing. I hear Boston Market, the company is really great at sorting out customer complaints. I'm going to write them soon and see what theyir response is.

I'm pretty sure the title here should be BOSTON MARKET and not Boston Chicken - but this'll work. Same Place, Different Name... I've been to this spot many times. It's a chain. It feels like a chain. It serves food that's been shipped from who-knows-where and then reheated many times, finally to be served to you and claimed to be like a "home-cooked, family-style meal". This is American fast-food consumerism at its finest. I can't say I hate the place though. The chicken, sides and cornbread really are tasty and filling! My favorite sides are the mashed potatoes with gravy and the sweet potatoes with marshmallows and crumble on the top! YUM YUM. If you watch the ads, you can frequently find deals for Boston Market. Last year, they ran a special for a while where they gave away entire meals for $1 - chicken, 2 sides, and cornbread. That was a deal! I will not ever eat here on a regular basis, but once-in-a-while, I consider this place a yummy treat.

The place is just what you would expect. Nothing special, fast food type. Sometime good once in a blue moon. I only got sides because I don't eat meat. However, nothing screams "fresh" or "delicious." The worst part about this place is the location. I was greeted by a crackhead outside. While I ate, she came up to my table and an employee told her she had to leave. She then cursed her out and left. Not exactly nice dining experience. Oh the the way out she mumbled something to me then cursed me out as well. I was glad to get in my car and drive away.

Slightly further out of the scope of most students, this Boston Chicken (Market) is not too bad, actually. The standard packages of chicken, ham, pot pies, meatloaf, and sandwiches have passed through here and here's nothing spectacularly different or unusual here. The seating is a bit small for even me (and I'm not a big person), but the place is kept decently clean and while a bit more expensive than the food carts, a nice change of pace for some creamed spinach, new potatoes w/butter, or thick mac & cheese. Also caters to Thanksgiving/holiday dinners with big meal packages.

I went here about 3yrs and got some meatloaf...took it back to work and began eating it then notice that it is sooooo red in the middle. So i threw it out and took it as a loss. Later that nite i beleive i had food poisoning. Vomited for hours as well as diarrhea. Then i called them to let them kno they poisoned me and the manager seemed rude and sumhow had me calling another Boston Market on City Ave. N they didnt help me either. Back then i was kind of quiet n didnt stand up for myself but now when i think back im mad! Worst experience ever. I tell all my coworkers and every1 i know not to go there. Only go there if u want tho throw up ur guts all nite

The staff here is very pleasant, but the eating experience is not... once you get home, that is. Ate here recently with a group & later on that evening, we all felt sick. It lasted until the morning. I wonder how many other people who ate there that night were sick as well. No one was ill enough to warrant hospitalization, but just because you don't visit hospital doesn't mean you don't have some degree of food poisoning. UGH. Skip this place. The prices aren't even great unless you have a coupon. Need a hot meal on the go -- hit Chipotle.
