Can't speak for this place's lunch or dinner but their Sunday brunch is great (10-2). I couldn't really think of anything that was missing. Everything was tasty. The waffles were a plus. If you sit at the bar, brunch is ~$7.50/person, coffee and mimosas included. Such a great deal! The only downside is that the bar area can get cold if people are running in and out. Even sitting in the dining area and paying full price would be worth it. Service was friendly.

We went to Hawkeyes yesterday for Sunday brunch, what a great place! It was a wonderful meal and the service was very attentive. I am from Chatham NJ and this was a perfect meeting point to see friends from PA They had the classic omelet station set up with everything you could imagine. The buffet had a choice of eggs dishes and bacon sausage hash browns... My husband had an omelet which was perfect. He has celiacs and the staff were great about going through what he could and could not have. I had the "non breakfast food" buffet which was delicious. They had it all, from an amazing mushroom ravioli to chicken croquettes, it was all very tasty! People we were with had the lox and desserts which included cookies and pastry and lots of fresh fruit... Everyone was very pleased with their choices. The burgers looked great too. It was a beautiful ride out 78 through frenchtown along the canals. This was a really great brunch!

Went to Hawkeye's because a friend recommended the kip. It started out bad when I ordered a pint of Guinness & it came in a 10 ounces glass. When I questioned the size I was told "It's a Pint" in very rude terms. When I complained about the 3 inches of foam on my Guinness after telling the wench pour it slowly so there's no head on it she snarls I'm not the bartender. We ordered the supreme nachos, first time I experienced sugar in my chili, disgusting and the next item, lasagna don't even ask. All I can the people in this part of the woods have not been exposed to anything better & that's sad.

First time here and I had a great experience. Food was good and the staff was friendly. We had waffles and ice cream for dessert and it was very tasty. I wish they had a slightly larger beer selection And a bigger waiting area. I had the fish and chips and my girlfriend had a burger. Everything was very tasty. We would go again

Beer is cold and plenty of it. Really good selection of specialty 6 packs. The burgers are great, but one of the types of Buns is not to my liking. Although its a personal preference and everything else is delicious. My kids love the TV in the booth and My wife and I absolutely love the staff, always smiling and willing to talk a few moments with the kids. Quick notes Food is awesome Beer selection is great Atmosphere is fun Have been back multiple times since our first visit.

Met up with some friends here the other night and had a pretty good time. Nothing jaw dropping here, but still a good experience. The complimentary chips and salsa were pretty good. You could definitely tell the salsa was home made as well as the super thick and crispy chips. Not a bad wine or beer selection here. I had a class of KJ Chard and my lady had some Pino. For dinner I had the Lonestar Burger, which was topped with onion rings, choice of cheese and this petal sauce stuff...basically a horseradish based sauce. The fries were good and you have choice of regular or curly. My lady had the Ahi Tuna sandwich and said it was good as well. We sat in the tavern section so I didn't get a look at the dining room area. I think because it was a weeknight, it was a little slow but I can definitely see this being a great place for large groups and sports games. TV's everywhere. I think we would go back, definitely want to try one of the pizza's; they had a decent selection of those on the menu. I would definitely put this in the same category as The Crossroads and the Skyline Tavern as your typical local go-to bar/restaurant, just depends on how close you are to Perkasie, Chalfont or Hilltown but they are all relatively close to each other.

Really good food! I favor their mushroom burger, which is so juicy! Their fries are nice as well. I could do without televisions at each booth, though, as it makes for strange ambience. Chips and salsa are brought out complimentary as you wait for food. Don't be afraid to ask for extra dip! I sometimes eat too much when I come here because I love the taste so I suppose that and the overabundance of TVs are my only negative comments.

Been there three times now, and the food has been good every time. Love the beer selection too. Service was not up to par. We got 3 courses. Soup, salad, and entree. Salad came out first, then entree followed, and lastly soup...??? All of our dishes from the meal sat on the table the entire time.... The server didn't want to be bothered with clearing it. Women's bathroom was also extremely cold and unpleasant.

We live down the street from hawkeyes and it is a go to for take out and a fall back when out favorite local eatery is too busy. We went there for dinner last week and it was mediocre. It seems as if it is going down hill. The girls at the front, although generally pleasant are a bit young for the job (or act it). Since I live so close by I never had to use the restroom. This time I had to change my baby's diaper and the bathroom was incredibly cold, freezing COLD. There was a large hole in the ceiling and the water from the sink was FREEZING. I threw away my left over cheesesteak. No comparison to the other local establishment.

This place has certainly gone downhill. Reminds of what the place would feel like a few months before all the previous owners closed for business. Pro's: food, good, wait staff attentive. Con's: Lack of management/staff professionalism: Made reservation days ahead of time for 5pm. They had down 8pm. This has happened twice in the last two months. They could replace the crackling phone at the hostess station, that would be a good start! Drinks, male bartender overheard me complaining about how he was shaking instead of stirring a martini. Bartending 101 guy! He looked over at me and kept making them the same way. Over-served regulars can get away with anything, being loud, obnoxious, swearing with no consequences, not even a warning, or "hey keep it down" - especially with kids around. This place is getting more and more disappointing. Head to The Perk!

Recently had a light dinner with my son. I had the ahi tuna sandwich and my son had a burger. The food was delicious and the menu offered great variety. Lots of drink choices too for beer lovers. Our server, Lexi, was very friendly and efficient!

My mother, sister and nephews and I went here for dinner on a Monday evening. My nephew said that the fish and chips were his favorite so we both got it and it was very good. They gave us so much fish I barely touched the fries. My other nephew always gets the crab cakes at Hawkeyes and he said they were "great as always". Since I was paying the bill I was very happy with the prices and everyone thought there food was very good. Although we never turned it on all of the booths had their own tv.

Nice place, happy with the service and we like the food. You pay a little more here than some of the other local joints but portions are big so you won't leave hungry. TV in every booth especially helpful keeping kids occupied. Menu available online.

Fun place to go! The prices are reasonable and they run coupons and deals often. The bar is usually busy and loud while the restaurant is cozier. All of the booths come equipped with their own personal flat screen TV so you don't have to worry about missing your favorite shows while dining out. You can also shut the TV off if you want to enjoy some conversation. The food is great, the chicken marsala is my fave here. They have a huge menu-you can get whatever you're in the mood for! As far as drinks go, the margaritas here are huge and delicious-I definitely recommend trying them! Hawkeye's is a good option for a date, a weekend hang-out with friends or a big dinner with the family!

A casual restaurant with an individual TV at each booth. (hint: to change channels, point remote under the table, since that is where the box is located). The service is good, but the food is only average. They do have a bar, with a good selection of beers.

Okay, I don't get it. Everyone I know loves this place and it is always packed. Maybe it is just how bad other places are in this area. Have been here numerous times and the food is okay, nothing fantastic, service below average (although that is apparently the new norm). Atmosphere is good and overall it is okay.

Consistently good pub-grub. Had lunch in the bar area as the restaurant side was full mid-week! Portions are huge. Excellent service. Watched two more older folks struggle with the stairs....(just pointing this out again).

It is a little off the beaten path but well worth the trip. The food was very good and so was the service. I really didn't expect much from the look and location but I've eaten here a few times and I have not been disappointed. I will definitely be recommending this restaurant to friends and family.

Great food and great service. There is no waiting for a drink at the bar, and when coming to eat with the family, they have a great dining room secluded from the bar with TV's at each table. Very clean restrooms, and restaurant

Victory IPA served in little Chimay champagne glass. Billed as a pint. Right. Lamb gyro special used packaged mystery meat. Curly fries appeared to be heated up from frozen.

Not a fan... mediocre food, mediocre service. Burger was ordered "Very Well Done", came out medium ... I like to get what I order. Fries were not crisp, were not soggy...just poorly seasoned fried potatoes. Salad wasn't very fresh and the presentation was sloppy. Went with a group and none of us were particularly impressed. Tried the place twice just in case the first unsatisfactory visit was a fluke...unfortunately it was just as unsatisfactory the second go round.

I agree with the people who give this place a three or below. I've been there several times as it is one of the better places around. That's just to say the other choices are actually that bad. Food and service are just average. Thought their crab soup is great.

This place has a great bottled beer selection - available in house and for take out. Chimay, Ommegang and Dogfishhead to name a few. The pizza is always right on the mark and after listening to my father talk about their crab cakes, I finally decided to take the plunge. One of the best crab cakes in the area, for sure. Sweet potato fries were fantastic too.

This is our favorite local hang-out. Good drinks, food, and service. There are a variety of brick oven pizza options (including Chicago-style deep dish), daily specials, and a large menu of options to fit every taste. There are lots of choices and periodically we just do "apps for dinner." Everyone can find something to love and their new Sunday Brunch Buffet is great addition. The tavern has a sports bar feel while the dining room offers a more intimate setting. In the dining room, every booth had its own TV which can be a great option to keep the kids entertained during a lingering, laid back meal.

There were 7 of us. We all ordered something different, several of which had ingredient tweaks. Everything was great (lamb gyros, buffalo chicken Stromboli, portobello mushroom sandwich, et al) all excellent. Average craft/draft menu, but had a nice Free Will red and a Dogfish 60 minute. All sandwiches were $9 and the pints were $5. Very, very nice ambience inside. Glad we found it!

The food was subpar. Service was fine. We had no idea how to get seated and the hostess was a bit weeded at 230. Strange. Roast beef was dry and terrible. Potato skins sucked. Atmosphere was dive like. I won't go back. After talking to the manager about the crappy food, he comped our meal. That earned the 2 stars. People, please stop rating places with terrible food higher then a three. People like us get disappointed and leave hungry. Wasted time and money.

Nice tavern with good food. The atmosphere of the building is comfortable and nice. They also have some live entertainment on occasion that adds to the atmosphere. They have a variety of drink specials and cocktails for their patrons. And the food has always been of good quality. Hawkeyes is a relaxing place to enjoy a drink and meal.

Love this place, perfect for families with kids of any age. Huge menu, we all loved our food. Worth the drive out there! Kids loved the booths with TVs and Verizon Cable! Can be a distraction while they are eating, but you can always turn it off. And keeps kids happy while adults are visiting!

I showed up with a party of 11 without calling ahead and they had no trouble accommodating. It was an awkward time, like 2:30 on a Saturday so they weren't expected to be very busy, but nonetheless they still were very friendly and it only took a minute to throw tables together for us. The food was great, a lot of people in my party got the crab soup and were saying how impressed they were because it's so hard to find that well done in our area. I had a turkey club that was huge! (and delicious). Absolutely no complaints- a great gem to stumble upon while I was out!

The chips and sales are good! This is a nice place to come as a family and with kids. The booth have their own tv and the kids really like that. The servers are very friendly and helpful. The food is pub food but it is actually good and there are a lot of choices for everyone. Love the burgers and my kids love the chicken!

I was not impressed. My husband has been here multiple times(his parents like it for some reason), but I had not until last week. The chips on the table did not taste good. My father-in-laws water cup was cracked. I asked the server about a few dishes and he admitted he hadn't tasted any of the things I asked about. My pasta dish (a special) was salty and overall kinda stunk. My husband said his burger tasted like it hadn't been seasoned. I would not go back or recommend.

After almost a year of passing by this restaurant that always seems to be busy, I decided to stop and give it a try for some drinks after work. Boy, was I glad I did! First off, I was surprised by the selection of draft and bottle beers. I was even able to buy a six pack of my favorite craft beer when I left! For that reason alone I would come back, but I digress. Enjoying the atmosphere of the bar which is surrounded by good sized booths to eat, I decided to get something to eat. Once again, the range of food was pretty extensive so I ask my "very cool" bartender to recommend something unique that they are know for and she told me the crab cakes were great so I ordered them as an entrée. I started with a house salad which had nice sized chunks of blue cheese throughout, like the kind you get at Mortons...seriously! Now you have to understand, this restaurant is in the middle of corn fields in PA and getting two HUGE fresh lump crab cakes, which were almost ALL CRAB, was exciting considering I wasn't anywhere near the Maryland coast. It was served with a medley of summer squash, cherry tomatoes and zucchini which was roasted to perfection and some Spanish rice. At around 20 bucks, I don't know how they stay in business, and I don't care but I am looking forward to coming back and trying more things on the menu. My quest for the best craft beers on tap led me to the best crab cakes in PA. Who would have thunk it!!!

Really great place for a family. Sole booths have tv's which is a great treat for the kids. Bar has many options to keep the parents happy! Just once or twice we had a little slow service, but not all the time. Definitely check it out.

We usually order carryout from Hawkeye's. Our experiences have been consistently decent. We've tried sandwiches (the bread is good), pizza and appetizers. The quality of the pizza may vary based on the cook. It's either really good or just ok. My husband doesn't like the fish and chips - the fish and small and frozen.

Two thumbs up for Hawkeye's! Tried the cream of crab soup special. It was excellent! First time I have had cream of crab with big pieces of jumbo lump in it. Also had the burger. Without a doubt the best burger within 20 miles (sorry Bubba's) and I am a burger snob. The only thing that would make the burger better is hand cut french fries instead of frozen. Still decent fries though. Have to give a great review for Katie (I think that is her name) the bartender too. She was very friendly and gave us excellent service. Thank you Hawkeye's. We will absolutely be back!

Great food, great selection! Had a party of 7, but having read other review called ahead and made a reservation. When we got there they seated us comfortably in a large corner booth. We got there about 10 min before the kitchen closed, but they were very accommodating with our orders. Our 2 orders of Stromboli came out a little later than our other entrées, which the owner explained to us, would be the case. He then went on to comp both Stromboli. Our other entrées were fajitas, meatloaf, filet mignon, burger, brick oven pizza. All large portions, while being very well prepared. Only minor complaint would be more of a beer selection, maybe some local brews. Other than that would definitely recommend, and definitely go back!

We went there on early on Friday night and it was busy but we were seated right away. There is a nice atmosphere and the interior has been redone and there are plenty of TV's to watch the game. Service was good not great. They offer a lot of different pizzas, sandwiches, burgers, etc. We ordered the hot wings and they were good sized wings and the sauce was spicy but not insanely hot. The pizza was good and my roast beef sandwich tasted great but it was a mess to eat. They served the sandwich on a Kaiser roll instead of a hoagie roll which led to a messy time. Now to the best part....Beer. I love beer and usually around these parts restaurants only serve Bud, Miller light, Coors light and Yuengling. Hawkeye's however has a respectable beer list including Victory and Rogue beers. They don't have a huge beer list but for this area this is as good as it gets. Also the beer is available for take out. Lastly the parking lot. We got there early so we had no problem getting a spot but when we left the parking lot was packed and people were hunting for a spot since there is no were else to park so take one car if you can. In the end a good, much needed restaurant for the area and we will definitely be back.
