I took my Dad here for Father's Day (6/17/12). The girl working there (tall, blond, young) was beyond rude. It ruined the experience. She didn't speak to us, or look at us. She slammed the ice cream doors down and had a pout on her face the whole time. I have actually never written a review, but felt compelled to let the business owner know that customer service is still important. I would fire her. The ice cream was good, but would have been better with even a tiny bit of friendliness.

Great ice cream, in an old fashioned ice cream store! So this place is near and dear to me. I've been coming here since I was a kid. There isn't much to this place that would make the masses want to flock here. And I think literally, nothing has changed inside. It's really funny. The shelves above the serving area, still have the same old radio and bizarre knickknacks as I saw 15 years or more ago. Yeah do the math....I'm old!! The place is small, there is seating but yah might want to think about that when you actually go there and see it. Looks like a bunch of lawn furniture, but that's just me. The ice cream is nothing special, but still damn good. I partial to the banana ice cream. It's just delciousness. There was a large chain ice cream store down the street and I was worried that it would run O'malley's out, but guess who closed and who is still here. That's sorta shocking, but it shows you that old classics are hard to kill off!

This is a very old-fashioned ice cream store. Not really, but kinda. The display of ice cream is what you'd see in any Rite-Aid and Baskin Robbins, but the ambience is different. The interior is not sleek or modern, nor does it try to be. There are old vintage photographs and other quaint pieces of art hung on the wall. It's like walking through a transitioning vintage ice-cream shop. They have all the basic flavors, and then some (Tiramisu, Banana Chocolate). There is also seating in the back for those old-school Friday night or afternoon dates. Cute. May seem out of place, but I like it. I'm not really excited to come here again, though. Service is slow. There was one person on duty (not really common with ice-cream shops that weren't part of a bigger store) Prices we're good for the portion. 1 scoop - $2.74. It's more like 1.5 - 2 scoops.

Holy smokes, it's hot as blazes in here! All those freezer cases in a tiny cramped (dirty) space. Service is slow as molasses - but they are trying. For Dining under the Stars - they had ONE person in addition to the kind but over-worked owner. Cash only. Meanhwhile my year old ADORES this place.

19 year old boy was extremely rude. My wife and I stopped for a cone after dinner. When I told him he was being rude he went off. I would never stop here again. I'm 53 and have NEVER experienced anything like this. My wife was stunned. This was past having a bad day. If I owned the shop the rasta lookin kid would have been fired on the spot. Will never go there again

This place is kinda sceevy and old and smells of bleach of something. He has been there for years and you would think he could put a little money back into the place and clean it up and put in some new freezers that don't freeze up on the inside with all the gunk that is floating around in that place. Its also a very odd setup where you can barely walk in to get in line to place an order. Its a shame these people who own these places for years can't have some business sense and clean up the place and make it better. He is just a cheapo or something. Media really needs a nice ice cream place. Its a shame Front Street Fountain went out of business. Now we have no where to get ice cream but this dump or the over priced soft serve place across the street. DO SOMETHING to clean this place up!!!

This little spot really is a step back in time. It's really funny to walk in and suddenly feel like a little kid again in a little mom and pop ice cream store. It's so NOT mainstream Media, but I kind of love it all the same. The minute you step inside, you feel like time has slowed down and you have all the time in the world to pick your ice cream flavor. Oh, and they serve Richman's ice cream, which I only know because as a little kid we used to stop at a big Richman's branch in Southern Jersey on the way to the beach. It's yummy. It's also a hell of a lot cheaper than the fancy ice cream store up the street (I won't mention any names) and will serve you a small portion of ice cream that you'll be able to actually consume all of (assuming you order a small, that is). Yay for ice cream!

Cinnamon bun ice cream = Yum! Vanilla ice cream swirled with the perfect amount of cinnamon and cinnamon bun dough mixed in makes for a perfect ice cream cone on a hot summer day.

Black raspberry!!! This is my favorite flavor of ice cream and I was so pleased that they had it in stock 2 weekends ago when I was there. This lil ice cream shop really is how I would have pictured it in the old days; cheap candy, old time milk shake machine and a roasting pot where they store the hot fudge. It was a fun experience walking in the busy store and ordering a hot fudge sundae with Black Raspberry and then taking it outside and enjoying it on a nice refreshing evening. It is a lovely ice cream parlor that is perfect to go on a date, with friends or the family on a warm summer night!
