Love this place. Fantastic pizza made exactly how we ask for it. Cheesesteaks, fries and salads are great, too. The staff is always friendly and ready with a smile.

Best wings in town and amazing Italian pizza ! Love the owners and the friendly staff. Prompt service and a very clean restaurant. The white pizza is great but the regular pizza sauce is killer as well.

One of the best pizza places around. I love their pizza, it is real pizza not like that garbage pizza with such a weird doughy hard crust you find at many local pizza places. The cheese they use is better quality and their toppings are great. I love the sausage pizza - best sausage around. I have also ordered a hoagie from there and it was so good the bread they use is one of the best and all the hoagie fixings were fresh. I was shocked because I'm always skeptical about ordering hoagies from pizza places and not delis but id choose them over a deli any day. I have also ordered their italian entrees like penne a la vodka which was delicious. The place is VERY clean, they are community oriented as they support the local athletic club in the area by being a sponsor. Only con is I think they are a little pricey and they don't offer any specials BUT you are paying for quality and once I ordered $35 worth of food and the owner told me to grab a free 2 liter which I appreciated.

I hate to give this place a great review as I would like to keep it a secret for faster delivery times however they really need to hear the praise. We've had many different pizzas, sandwithces and entres and all were well above par. Don't miss this place. I wish they were on GrubHub ( my favorite way to order delivery) so that ordering and payment were simplier.

My office orders food from Aquilone's Cucina for every event and I get why. Their food is delicious! I had the Farfalle Boscaiola once at our Christmas party and I'm hooked. It is so creamy and delicious! You get a pretty large portion for $10.95! For smaller events we get the pizza and salad. It's all very good. You get those larger slices of pizza and 1 slice is usually enough to fill you. I will go back again and again!

We've ordered from here a few times and they have yet to disappoint. The garlic knots and onion rings are out of this world. My husbands favorite is the thick crust pizza which he won't stop talking about. Pretty quick too.

My first experience eating here was mediocre. I ordered 2 slices to eat in: 1 plain and 1 sausage. First off, the pizza itself wasn't bad but nothing special either. I wasn't crazy about how tough the thin crust was; it wasn't cardboard but it was hard and dense. A plus is atleast they don't go skimp on the sausage topping! Second, was the price! Call me cheap, but $4.56 for 1 plain + 1 sausage seems pretty expensive! That would mean that 1 plain slice is already $2! My favorite pizza places (Pizza Star near 5 Points + A&S Pizza on Edgely/Bristol Pike) charge $1.60-$1.80 for a plain and any additional topping is about $.50 extra, AND they serve damn good slices. Idk, maybe if I had ordered an entire, freshly made pie, the quality would have definitely made my rating higher. However, no matter a fresh pie or reheated slices that were sitting on the counter, the taste/texture should remain the same throughout! If other pizza places can serve excellent slices then so can this place! TL;DR Ver: For people eating here, avoid slices and just order an entire pizza to get the utmost quality and experience. But if you already have a favorite pizza place, just keep going there.

Aquilone's as we call it, is a great place to get delicious pizza and Italian food. It's clean, reasonably priced, and the people that run it are upbeat, friendly, and care about their patron's eating experience. My wife and I are originally from Brooklyn, and having lived there for decades we were able to taste the best pizza NY has to offer. Aquilone's "Brooklyn Pizza" is AWESOME. It's as good as the best pizza (Patsy Grimaldi's is the best brick oven) and better than the rest (better than L & B Spumoni Gardens and Davinci's). For years, our families have catered parties through them (the sausage, peppers & onions tray is delicious) and every time the guests will comment on how delightful the food is... all of it! My wife loves their Toscana salad and I love their Chicken Marsala entree. The hot sandwiches and Signature Panini's are tasty, our favorites are the Chicken Parm sandwich and the Carlo Special Panini. A big thank you to the folks at Aquilone's, we order from them about once a week and have been for years and they have NEVER once disappointed us!

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
