Green's is a small restaurant and very homey inside. I've been here a few times, and the food is consistently good. There's a decent array of options from seafood to sandwiches to full platters. There are also daily specials; for example, fish and macaroni and cheese on Friday. The dining room is somewhat small, but I've never had to wait for a table. It looks like you're sitting in someone's living room since there's a fireplace and the décor is sort of "Americana." There aren't too many frills, but you will get a good meal at a good price. The servers are very friendly and attentive. You have the option of adding the salad bar to your meal. I'd recommend it for sure. It's only about $3 extra, and you can take as much as you'd like. The salad options are pretty basic but always fresh: lettuce, shredded carrots, cheese, tomatoes, mushrooms, croutons, chick peas, and a variety of dressings (also some packets of Ken's dressing). There's another small side bar with rolls, macaroni salad, coleslaw, apple sauce, and peaches. Lastly, there's always a dessert option. I normally see a parfait-type of dessert, like whipped banana pudding with whipped cream. Last month, I ordered a cheesesteak with onions and sauce. It was fantastic! The bread was slightly toasted and the meat was cooked to perfection. The cheese blended well with the meat and sauce. It's a decent size and very filling. I'd put it up against any other cheesesteaks in the area. Previously, I've tried the Friday fish special. The pieces of fish are a bit small but very tasty, and the homemade macaroni and cheese is excellent. Green's is a bit off-the-beaten path, but it's definitely worth a try. No matter your food preferences, I'm pretty sure you'll leave satisfied. 4.5 rating.
