Stopped in for breakfast this morning. I ordered pancakes. These were absolutely the best pancakes I have ever eaten. They were freaking orgasmic! Crispy but soft in all the right places. Flavorful on their own, but with some butter and syrup, holy s***!. I am not kidding and I am NOT exaggerating. Go to Letterman's diner and order pancakes!

While in town for the Kutztown Folk Festival, I knew I needed to reconnect with my childhood by eating as much scrapple as possible in a four day period. My mother had heard about a tiny diner in the center of town, open only for breakfast (which starts at 1am when the University is in session!) and known for generous portions and an "eclectic" menu. 23 seats, all filled at all times. One, maybe two servers, and a kitchen helper, depending on the day. One cook, managing one grill. More menu possibilities than one normally sees at a full service restaurant with a massive staff. We were lucky enough to make it there twice in four days. (And I look forward to a return trip!) For our first meal we played safe. Sausage and eggs for my boy, scrapple and eggs for me and my mother. I also ordered a short stack of waffles, but they were ignored completely when I saw my slice of scrapple. A four inch square of pork infused corn meal, perfectly fried and placed next to two scrambled eggs. All I could think when I took the first bite was "I can't wait to come back tomorrow!" The boy said the same thing when he bit into his sausage. Whew, because he had little choice! My mother was busy discussing politics with the stranger to her left, and did not want to leave in the first place, so coming back the next day made perfect sense. Breakfast the second day was all about discovery for my mother and myself. My boy ordered the sausage again, because that's just what he does. Turns out that if you don't grow up eating scrapple it seems a bit odd somehow. * My mother and I decided to split an omelet, because we'd seen their size and knew that we would never move again if we each tried to order our own. Then we took our time deciding what we wanted. The winner in every way, was crab, peppers, onions, tomatoes, and pepper jack cheese. Served with a mountain of hash browns. (And yes, a side of scrapple!) $13 for a breakfast that we split in half and had enough left over for a third person. The portions of each component were generous and well balanced, so each forkful had the perfect amount of everything. The cook was able to get our three plates out in a timely manner while also dealing with the 20 other people ordering from his astonishing menu. Everything was cooked perfectly, and though he certainly did not have time to stop and chat, he was able to spare a smile as he slid my plate in front of me. I thanked him kindly for the meal and the show, as watching him work on the single small grill was a sight to behold. If I had my way, I would live much closer to Letterman's Diner. I'd be able to make this tiny place a regular stop. I would sit, ask for some coffee, and then work my way through the menu, hoping to make it to the end of three pages of omelet choices before the menu changed. I'd be distracted by the daily specials, and I might even order from the lunch menu once or twice. Scrapple would be the only constant. *My boy would like me to mention that if Letterman's Diner would grill some Spam for him, they would be at the top of his list of favorite restaurants on the Mainland, so he understands my joy when I am near my preferred breakfast meat.

What Better way to describe this Diner would be, Yummy, Yum, Yum... Even though I stood in a line outside this diner for well over twenty minutes, Just waiting in a line gave me the idea that the food has to be great here. Once I was seated by a Very friendly young lady with a pleasant personality to boot I was given coffee that is brewed somewhere in town by the locals which was oohs so smooth tasting. I ordered an egg Omelet and this was I got, 2 huge slices of white toast, my egg omelet stuffed with, Green peppers, onions, french fries, crushed Italian sausage, five slices of crispy beacon, Coleslaw, and with what I thought was a splash of mayonnaise but was later informed a special ingredient and then the omelet was sprinkled with a small portion of "HOT!" sauce. Which when afterwards I asked the young lady if this diner offered "Wheelbarrow" service to roll me out to my car she in return stated that they do one better, "She told me that she just throw's me over her shoulder and I'm to point out my car". I came back the very next date thinking that I would have a jump on the lunch crowd some where around Eleven thirty but was again surprised to see the crowd was down the street hoping to sample one of the finest lunch's on the east coast. I highly recommend this place to everyone.. Even you.

We went here for a nostalgic diner experience, found an old diner resting on its laurels. The facility is poorly ventilated, with limited outdoor air and plenty of smoke from poor quality cooking oils. There are requirements in dining facilities regarding exhaust airflow rates and per person outdoor air flows that are surely failing here. Expect to be thermally uncomfortable and to smell like biodiesel when you leave. While the diner has some history, it hasn't been preserved. What should be nostalgic and retro is actually decrepit. If you want to keep your appetite, don't go to the rest rooms. The exhaust fan in there is caked in dirt and there is some kind of stain in the sink. If you do go to the washroom, be sure to bring some quarters for the condom dispenser! There was a short wait for a seat, as expected, but then we waited inside for approx. 12 minutes for a table to be cleared or to even be acknowledged by the waitstaff. Pro tip, a little "I'll be right with you, let me just clear this table" goes a long way. Communication, folks. Once we sat, put in an order and waited another 50 minutes for the one cook to prepare it. Also, a party of 4, 2, and 2, who had arrived after our party of 2 were served before us. We ordered omelettes. Food quality is exactly what you would expect for a diner. Conventional grade meats, cheese, potatoes. The pricing is maybe 10-15% more than what one might expect to pay for an omlette but the portions are large. If you are interested in large portions of mediocre diner food in an uncomfortable, outdated diner with poor service and questionable sanitary practices, stop on by!

Excellent food and you will not leave hungry. Doug does a great job and his staff take care of your needs immediately. This is one of our favorite places to go eat and we look forward to it the night before. If only they were open 24/7.

DO NOT SUPPORT THIS ESTABLISHMENT! The owner is verbally abusive to his waitstaff. If I were solely rating the food, Letterman's would have 3 stars. However, customer experience is an important part of dining out and my experiences at Letterman's were horrifying. The first time I ate at this diner, I felt like the entire place was giving me funny looks, as I was the only person of color in the place. The second and final time I visited Lettermans, I still felt very uncomfortable as the only person of color and the only female in the place. As I sat down to order, I could hear and see the owner/chef verbally abusing a waitress because she forgot an order of fries. I understand the owner needs to reprimand mistakes; screaming bloody murder at your waitstaff in front of all of your customers is not the way to do it. and, really, is a missed side of fries that big of a catastrophe? I know the food is good, but it is not good enough for me to support someone who treats his waitstaff so poorly.

Always a great place to stop at when I am back in the area. Down to earth people and great diner food. The people are always warm and friendly. Cash only and they aren't shy telling you how it is. It's kinda like being at your grandparents house when they've been drinking, they are real people and so are most of the patrons. If you are uppity and high maintenance then move on because you won't fit it. If you want great food and no bs. This is the place. Oh and I enjoy the signage. Try the SOS with home fries. Best in PA.

Always generous portions, well worth your money! Delicious meals with great selection. Must try it! Waitress (April) is always efficient and pleasant. What else could you ask for?!

This place is the real deal. I was in town for three mornings and had to go back every morning. The Scarecrow each morning was what I needed to start my day. Of course I can't eat for a week to balance out the calories but it was worth it!

Wonderful experience at this old school dining car diner. Great people, excellent service. I had the creamed beef on toast. Delicious hash browns. Great talking to the cook and staff. Real slice of Pennsylvania.

Went and breakfast here again for the 5-6 time. The waitress was very friendly and nice. Order my food. Took some time cause thing r made to order. Sat in front of the grill. Saw how things were being prepared. Order 2 eggs over easy with scrapple hash browns and rye toast. Saw everything was being piled all on one plate. So asked my eggs to the cook if I could have my eggs on a separate plate. No problem he said. Well the eggs were ok. They had black burnt residue from left over grease cause the grill wasn't clean. The scrapple was mushy and had no favor but that's not their fault but the company that makes it. The hash browns also tasted like left over burnt grease from the grill. Had to ask for syrup for my scrapple to maybe camaflouge the greasy burnt taste. Didn't work. The waitress never asked how my breakfast was until I paid. Said it was ok. I only ate the eggs and toast. It was horrible. Maybe that was why I and a couple were the only ones in the place. Never again. Plus the cook couldn't even say hi cause he wasn't busy. All this for close to $10. What a waste of $. It was horrible greasy experience.!

Best breakfast in PA. I drive an hour just to eat here. Its worth the wait and yes there will be one as there are not many tables. We drive here on our bikes all the time. Its a nice ride. The food is great, the staff is courteous. I can't imagine breakfast gets any better.

  • dave w.

Tiny, but really great breakfast and affordable as well. A really diverse and well thought out specials too. Best visited when school is out of session. A true gem. Don't go with a large group because there are two seats per table or counter service only.

I LOVE LETTERMAN'S DINER! I moved out of the area after graduation and I'll never find another place that's so delicious, reasonably priced, and fun to eat at. The slogan really rings true 'Letterman's Diner--because everywhere else just sucks!" I still drive all the way there from Philly just for breakfast sometimes. If you want a classic diner breakfast, this is the only place to go. I get the #5 with fresh sausage, sunny side up, rye toast and homefries. And if you're feeling daring, order some deep-fried pickles too, yum!

    (5)
  • Britt M.

Best breakfasts around. Everything is über fresh and mega huge just don't go there with a party over 2 and expect a table because that really ain't happening as no tables are big enough to accommodate three+ people and there is literally not enough room to push two tables together. You MUST experience this place at least once. You know it is good when in a college town it is filled with locals

I am a picky foodie, but hands-down the best breakfast I have ever eaten and a tremendous value on top of it. We travel an hour when we are camping just to eat here AND actually try and pick places close JUST to eat here. We've yet to find something on the menu that doesn't BURY every other local place we've tried. Best pancakes, pork roll, cream chipped beef and steak breakfast within 2 hours of Philadelphia. It's not the most spacious place, but it's worth sardining yourself in or waiting at the door for a spot to open up. Seriously.

Big breakfast but tasty, go hang with the locals. Pancakes are HUGE - I couldn't finish it. Its small & tight in there, so if your with a big group, I'd go elsewhere. Bonus cute K-Town U students wait on ya

Haven't been to Letterman's in about a year and the food is still outstanding. Went on a Saturday morning with my 4yr old daughter. Diner was completely full but food came out in a decent amount of time and was awesome. Portions were huge and well worth the money.

    (5)
  • Shannon J.

Every time we come here, the food is amazing. It really is the hidden gem of berks county. Humongous portions, local ingredients, and an awesome staff really make a complete experience. Make sure you try their French toast, and the wide array of omelettes.

    (5)
  • Jess B.

The oldest operating diner in PA and frankly the best! Doug is a master multi tasker and that's saying something considering the amount of space he creates in! Best SOS around. If you want frills or to sit together at a big table this not the place for you. Also, cash only.

    (5)
  • Vasi C.

The place to be if you want the best breakfast of your existence If you are starving you still leave the place with a box because is impossible to finish the huge portions that they serve! Best breakfast ever !!!

  • Samantha A.

Came in for lunch and got the miners special. For one thing it took well over a half an hour to get our food, and when we did it was incredibly greasy and my eggs had a bunch of shells in it. Plus under the specials page it says that they come with potatoes and toast and I found out thats not the case. Oh yeah and the cook was obviously drinking, we saw someone poor it for him and add orange juice right in front of us. Overall not a pleasant experience. The rest of the food wasnt bad but the experience was much less then to be desired. Waitress was nice, it was her first day.

HUGE plate of food, made the way you would do it yourself if only your wife wouldn't yell at you and then write an email to your cardiologist. On this visit I am having the He-Man breakfast: three eggs with two meats, choice of potato and toast. Give this place a try on your next morning drive to Kutztown. Letterman's is "greasy spoon" elevated to an art form!

Within the past few months they redid the menu for Letterman's and the prices shown here on Yelp are no longer accurate. Instead of the average specials and omelettes costing in the $5.65 range, they are now in the $8.10 range. But you know what? It's still a deal! And it's still one of my favorite places for breakfast in Berks County, tied with Tomcat Cafe (Sinking Spring, PA). I've been to Letterman's Diner at least 6 or 7 times and have always had a good meal. I've never been there for lunch, just for breakfast. If anything, with the higher prices the portions have become LARGER. Any of the breakfast omelettes will satisfy me for a total of three breakfasts if I add an egg or two to the leftover fixins from the third day. They're really *that* big!

  • Mary B.

This place is fantastic. Breakfast is my favorite meal at Letterman's but lunch is pretty darn good as well. They do middle of the night tacos as well, but I'm never up at 1am to be there. Haha. Letterman's is an old 23 seat diner car, so you may have to wait for seats. With just my husband and I, we usually find seat within 5 minutes on the weekend (if there isn't a line out the door), but I will say it is certainly harder to get seats (together) with a group of 4 or so. My favorite is the Mudflap (hashbrowns, onions, mushrooms, bacon, brown gravy and american cheese, w/ eggs) and my husband always gets the cheesesteak omelette, but the specials are always fantastic. The best special I've had so far is the Mama Mia (Omelette with meatballs, marinara, bell peppers, onions, and cheese w/ garlic bread) and I can't wait to try the Blueberry/Bacon Waffles the next time they are on special when I'm there. Overall, do not miss Letterman's. (Just try not to worry about the calories!)

Love me some Letterman's! Nothing like watching Doug cook up a delicious, greasy pile of awesomesauce. Such enormous omelets... such scrumptious SOS... such delightful hash-browns... It is literally the perfect breakfast spot. I lived in K-town for 9 years, and I miss it! Definitely worth a visit next time I'm in town!

I have not been to Letterman's in many years but was really hungry for a good breakfast this morning. I was so very happy when I my bacon egg and cheese omelette and hash browns arrived and tasted just as good ad I remembered-- okay maybe better ! Now I remember why I thought this was one of the best places for breakfast. Large portions , fresh food and friendly service. I was also glad the college was not in town and I got a seat right away. Thanks Letterman's for doing a great job for so many years!! Still #1!

This place is awesome !! GREAT WAIT STAFF AND OWNER !! If your in kutztown you def need to stop in this place for food !!! Do NOT believe the bs of other comments of racism / anger.. It's a restaurant !! There is no hidden kitchen where you don't see your food being cooked ! It's all there in front of you Two thumbs up in my book ! Go Doug !!

Went outdoor a ride to cabelas this am and detoured to kutztown for breakfast after hearing about this place. Easy to miss as it is tiny, but that comes with a meal made with pride. The locals were friendly to talk to when I sat at the counter, the K-town girls were very cute, as mentioned in another review, and the ploughman's special was sufficient to hold me over until breakfast the next day. I'll definitely take the ride to visit this one again with family, but will be sure to her there early so we can find a seat.

  • Don F.

The diner itself is tiny but the breakfast is not by any means. It's part of their charm. Letterman's Diner is a little gem in the heart of Kutztown. The staff is always friendly and make sure the customers are treated great, especially the regulars. Doug does all of the cooking right in front of you so you can see where your food is coming from, there's no questioning about what's on your plate. The menu items are something you can only get there. He has revolutionized breakfast. I've never thought these omelets a were possible. I am always amazed to see hash mountain on the grill and have it rain butter. Letterman's is one of the reasons Kutztown is my home!

  • Justin L.

This is THE place to have breakfast in Kutztown. Portions are outrageous. I recommended trying one of the specialty omelets. Seating can be a problem as the place is fairly small. Show up early.

  • Adam C.

Went to Kutztown, for an antique radio show..... & wound up finding a gem.. We had breakfast two days in a row, as the first time was Sooooo good. The IMO best of class omelets are #1 Wild Horse, Texas Pete, and the Scrapple.. wow what good flavor, and the size of the servings plates.. I'm a big guy who can do "Man VS Food", but these were close :-) just plain old fashioned good. The grill guy was basically "Dancing" to keep up with the orders. The place is very small old school diner so overall A+

  • Ryan D.

Hands down the best breakfast I have ever eaten. My favorite is the Flying Dutchman, but I am always trying something new off the specials board. Letterman's fills you up without emptying your wallet.

Me and my girlfriend went to this place for breakfast because we were in the area camping. We saw it was on Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives so we felt compelled to go. The place is really small but in a good cozy way, it is like an old train car converted into a diner. We sat at the counter. The menu is a bit overwhelming but again, in a good way. I ordered steak and eggs. The portions at this place are huge. It came with an 8 oz steak, 3 eggs(I got em over easy), a side of sour dough toast, and a big mound of hashbrowns. My girlfriend got an omelette. I forget the name exactly but it was the biggest omelette I have ever seen. It was filled with ground beef, coleslaw, french fries, onions, american cheese, and some other stuff. Instead of home fries she chose these small round potato hash brown things with chives, very delicious. If you are in the area definitely go to this diner!

  • Thomas R.

Letterman's has that classic diner feel with food that far exceeds the traditional diner faire. The selection at Letterman's is varied and they offer items that you wouldn't see at a normal diner. They have everything from a five meat omelet to the standard scrambled eggs and toast. The menu is large and there is sure to be something for everyone. On our most recent trip, I had a miner's breakfast (french toast, eggs, home fries, and bacon) and my girlfriend had an egg white veggie omelet (onions, mushrooms, hot peppers, tomatoes). The platters were huge, they were prepared well and everything was nice. This is a popular spot for KU students so on Saturday and Sunday mornings there are usually quite a few people enjoying a meal. It is fun to sit at the bar and watch everything get prepared.

Best breakfast ever, period. Anyone who thinks this place is disgusting is hallucinating. Small and cramped - yes it's literally a train car, which is clearly visible before you enter. I just can't understand how this place gets a bad review. Enormous breakfast at a great price. Do not do not come here with a large party. Occasionally you will wait more than 20 minutes for food- But it is well worth it. The waitstaff are friendly and keep the coffee coming.

    (5)
  • Shaz H.

First off this place is the ultimate of dives. It is tiny and cramped with the constant flow of patrons who I cannot understand why on earth they are eating here. The kitchen is right in front of you and the cook is a slob who is totally unkempt. He touches everything - countertop, his forehead, refrigerator handle, raw bacon, veggies, all meats with his bare contaminated hands. He verbally abuses his staff and he looks he would rather be in a bar fight. Plus the fact that my tomato egg and cheese sandwich had zero seasoning, melted processed cheese and was atrocious. My friend's pancakes were equally disgusting. Can't wait until the dept of health close this disgusting place down.

Every time I go to this amazing hidden gem, the good and atmosphere are amazing! Great people, huge portions, and a menu that doesn't break your bank! Try the mudflap, you can't go wrong!

Best breakfast in Berks County - try me! There is no way anybody can top the quality of a complete small town experience like this. I've been twice, both times it was completely packed. No more than 20 seats in the joint so good luck! But the experience is well worth waiting for. The cinnamon swirl French toast is to die for - like a fatty cinnamon bun for breakfast. Really a perfect guilty pleasure please with all of your favorite breakfast items on steroids. Everything is huge, the selections are unique, and the small town spirit permeates - you're a part of the family! The only con is the size. Although it is cool in a sense, it makes leaving the joint impossible without smelling like a fryer. Because of that, it nails a 4-star. But the food is well worth it. Take out is available if you're between laundry cycles and don't want to suffer the scent!

Went to letterman's for breakfast this morning with a friend and the food was amazing! I had the chocolate chip waffles and a side of hash browns and they were both delicious. My friend had the French toast and hash browns and pork roll. Everything was great and the portions were huge! We will be back for sure!

My wife and I happened upon this place while on a motorcycle ride and this should put it in perspective: I live an hour away, but I will go out of my way to come back. I had the "Alamo" omelette with the secret, homemade hot sauce and it was excellent. The staff was friendly, easy going, and didn't rush us even though we were there after the 2 o'clock closing time. I wish to the good Lord above this place was in the town I lived in. Sigh...

We were driving from Boston to Gettysburg and needed to eat! Stopped at Letterman's (thanks to Yelp reviews) and we were sooooo glad we did! Quaint diner -- GREAT food... and lots of it! Friendly waitress coaxed us to try "Scrapple" -- which we did. Now we can say we tried it! Breakfast was the best. Fresh everything -- sweet potato breakfast fries to die for -- if you're hungry, be sure to stop in!

An old standby for a great breakfast, non-chain style. Made it here today after some farmers/flea marketing at Reddingers. I usually have breakfast, but today, in spite of their long list of awesome omelette selections - I opted for a burger. Honestly, that burger kicked ass! Exactly as ordered. Hot, perfectly cooked, flavorful. Very attentive staff. I think the trick was the grilled bun, maybe with some butter: crack-like. All I'm all, a great place to stop year round, but when they host the huge Antique Extravaganza a few time a year, Fall Football at KU, this places really gets busy

I've been eating here for years. The food is always great, the staff always friendly, and you get allot of food for not much money. FYI..... If your in town drinking late on a Friday night be sure to check out the taco's. I think they open at 1am. Place is going to be packed but it's worth it.

I'm born and raised in New York, NY and I've spent time in Worcester (WooStah), MA, Philadelphia, PA and now I live in the Washington, DC area. I mention this because I've definitely eaten in many dives in my lifetime. With this life experience, I can say that I have eaten some great meals at places that have a horrible appearance but the food is absolutely incredible... Letterman's is NOT one of those places! One step into this local establishment makes you wonder: "why is it so crowded"? As you look around the location, you can't help but notice how cramped it is. There are approximately five small two-person tables and approximately ten seats at the counter. As you take your seat, you might be impressed with the number of people waiting patiently at the door for a table and you'll also see lots of people running in and out with takeout orders... This place is busy! If you're seated at the counter, as we were, you'll have a great view of the grill (watch carefully as the grill man wipes his sweaty face with his bare hands and then handles the raw food he's preparing for your meal; or watch as he touches all of the filthy surfaces around the grill area as he handles your food) and that's when the little voice in your head says: "I think we should get out of here"! Don't ignore that little voice! It's your gut telling you that something aint right! Plain and simple, this place is filthy and the food is horrible. I'd be remiss if I didn't do my best to warn folks to stay avoid this place by any means necessary. Honestly, I don't know how in the world there are ratings of more than one star in the reviews posted for this place... Something just aint right! To add insult to injury, not only was the place filthy; the grill area unsanitary; and the food absolutely awful; we also had the unfortunate experience of watching the grill man yelling at one of the waitresses in front of all of the customers. I don't know what he said to her or what the problem was but she was visibly upset after he yelled at her and she was fighting back the tears as she continued to serve customers. There are some great dives out there, unfortunately Letterman's can only aspire to achieve that honorable mention. The only question that comes to mind after my experience at Letterman's: "Is there a Department of Health in Kutztown, PA?"

If it's true that good things come in small packages, then Letterman's Diner fits the bill! I discovered this Kutztown treasure less than a year ago, and I have been back almost a dozen times! Doug, Josh, April and the rest of the Letterman's crew pump out the biggest, best and most inventive breakfasts you will find in the Lehigh Valley...or just about anywhere else. The atmosphere is fun and lively. The seating is very limited (about 20), so you will probably end up getting to know the people sitting near you, but that is part of the experience. It is the only restaurant in the Valley that I will gladly wait in line to get a seat. 30+ varieties of omelets, fresh smoked meats, thick style toast - what more could you ask for? And the staff is a blast! And don't forget their lunches. They make one of the best burgers to be found in the area as well as their enormous and inventive steak sandwiches. Can't say enough about this place, but I am so glad to have found it!

Cool atmosphere, and our baby loved getting a high chair seat at the bar. Huge portions, good service, but standard diner food. Burgers could use seasoning.

Excellent breakfast stop in Kutztown! When you walk into Letterman's you walk back in time and that is definitely ok by me! My suggestions/tips: * When you walk in, there are about 4 or 5 2 person tables along the left side and about 10-12 bar stools at the food counter. So understand that it is small, and you can't come here and sit with a family of 4 at a table (or possibly a group of 4 to sit together at the counter) * Get there early so you don't have to wait outside; there is no waiting area inside * On a slow day it might be a place to come with little kids, but I doubt there is a slow day here. So I would not come here looking for little kid table service or little kids trying to juggle/balance themselves on a counter bar stool (with you trying to eat and watch a little kid at the same time) * Expect a fast paced (not that they rush you, which they don't) dining experience. Since most of the seating is at the counter, you see/hear all the sites and sounds of the Letterman's staff making all of us some great food. If you are looking for a sit down breakfast where the only staff you see is the waitress coming to your table once in awhile to ask you if you want a coffee refill: this isn't Letterman's With all that being said, and you now understand what you are walking into, the food is fresh, hot made to order, then served to you immediately after it is plated. If there is anything I hate is a lukewarm or cold hot breakfast: that will not happen at Letterman's. You see it being made/it comes off the excellent cook's spatula to a waiting plate/it is brought to you. Love it! 3 egg omelettes are made so you don't need lunch anytime soon: filled with your choice of meats/cheeses/vegetables along with a huge portion of fresh made off the grill home fries (the grated kind, not sliced potatoes type). They have a lot of omelette choices, along with all the other choices of breakfast fare. Bacon is home made by the owner so get a side of 4 slices of thicker sliced bacon with your order. But why 4 stars and not 5? Someone in my group ordered an omelette that requested no tomatoes had them served with the tomatoes. Have to take off a star when you ask for a deletion that was clearly written by the waitress on the order to the chef and was neglected. She took them all out bit by bit, and did like the omelette outside of the tomato error, but it did leave her a bit negative about the error. Outside of the 1 order that was an error, we all will still return. It is a great classic diner with big portions and great value for your breakfast $$.

This is honestly my favorite diner around. The food is great, my personal favorite it an everything bagel with egg bacon and cheese. They also have a huge menu so you won't be left out. The cook is funny and always seems to be having a conversation with someone. Overall you have to try it at least once, it's much more than your typical diner. Also to the people who complain about the atmosphere you need to need to realize this is not your mothers kitchen so don't expect to be treated as your the only patron. Sit down eat your food and if you don't want to talk about the Eagles game, shut up!
