Falsetti's Villa is an old family restaurant that has been ran by the same family for almost 40 years. so when you read reviews from fancy people who call it a dive or a hole in the wall, those people have no clue to the history of this fine restaurant. oh and for extra good service request to sit at one of Heidi's tables. she is one of there best waitress.

Sit at the Bar if you have a small party, it's a nice atmosphere and the bartenders are very friendly. Bar could use a remodel job, but suitable.

It was recommended to me and I will recommend it to others. Food was good, service was excellent, portions were generous (light portions of most things available), and it basically has family owned written all over it. It is cash only which is a hassle, but it is what it is. I'll make it back there.

I am was on holiday to see the bf's family. I had heard lots of good & bad things about The Villa and wanted to see it myself. There was a wide section of entrees; some with a mini-meal size. I got the Shrimp Scampi Ravioli (in garlic butter sauce). YUM!! It was definitely better than I expected. The entree came with a dinner salad and was a good portion. Overall, the expericence was good. Decor and service was good, very homely feeling. Their prices are good. For 6 people it came out to $90. (But then again this place is kinda out in the boonies of PA). 3 stars b/c the sodas came in cans... I prefer my soda from a fountain... I was told to avoid some of their dishes as they aren't as good as the ravioli, I had. Also its a cash only restaurant.

I have found the Villa's food to be very good over the years and the portions are huge, the prices good. the only problem is that it can be very busy on the weekends

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
