Came there with husband for a Sunday brunch! The place is clean, our server is very attentive. Plenty of food in the buffet, from breakfast food to roast beef which is yummy. My husband order drinks, and he said it was good. Definitely coming back for another Sunday brunch.

It had a very "homely" atmosphere. The food is decent and the servings are plenty. The salad bar comes with the main entree but seemed to be neglected for a couple hours before I arrived. Overall not a bad spot to catch decent Italian food.

Nice atmosphere, friendly service. Food prices are reasonable, the food is good - not spectacular, but good, and the portions generous. Decent soup and salad bar included with dinner. The drink prices are quite good, too; margaritas and pina coladas were $4 each, house wines $3 per glass. We will probably go back next time we're in the mood for Italian.

Stopped here for dinner ...food was not fresh, microwaved baked potato, frozen pasta with very little sauce. The salad bar had VERY old lettuce. There were 2 guys eating when we were there. The server asked both if they were VETS and gave them a discount. I asked our server if they had any type of discounts, senior and Military/VET. I asked why she didn't ask us, 2 women, "oh those guys were regulars" so she knew they were VETS. hmmm...I heard you ask them. Anyway I told her we were both VETS, she said super and gave us a 15% discount. OMG!! The turmoil that caused! The hostess asked another server to check our ID. We served during peace time, didn't retire so no ID. Short of carrying our discharge papers we have nothing to prove we are VETS. Anyway after some discussion they gave us the discount. Go on Wed/Thus and ask for the discount if you are a VET but be prepare to prove it to these folks!! I'm only giving this place a 2 stars because of the server we had. Nice, friendly, made suggestion, explained the salad bar to us. Just a good server.

Came here with my kids. Everyone else in the place (all 6 of them) was old enough to be *my* grandparent, much less my kids... At 6pm on a Saturday, the dining area was basically empty. Wedding soup was salty, calamari was dry, salmon was lukewarm and almost raw in the center.

We attended a party catered by Anthony's not too long ago. The food was bland, everything was served at room temperature, and the vegetable sides were just dumped out of a can and right into the serving bins. There was no seasoning on anything, including the lasagna. The roast beef was dry, completely overdone, and leathery. It was cut into thin slices, presumably to make it at least chewable if nothing else. The dinner rolls were of the soggy/spongy "wonder bread" variety, and also just taken out of their bags and dumped on the serving table. The salad was simply some chopped iceberg lettuce with bottled dressing thrown on. At $20 per head, this was a complete ripoff.

We ate here recently and I was disturbed by the whole experience. The cost was about $15 per person, which was reasonable for decent food but it was far from it. The food itself was gross. You couldn't pay me to eat there again. The waitress came off extremely cold. Not a smile, and not a personable bone in her body. She gave me a half a glass of water and then never came back to give anymore refills out of everything that was the least concerning. The atmosphere was extremely dated and it didn't look clean. There was also a hair in my food but I didn't mention it because I am visiting the area and didn't want to offend anyone I was visiting. I basically had to starve that night. I wanted to throw up..Blah. I think anyone that recommends this place must have old dried up taste buds, and possibly blind. It felt very dirty. (we also paid for the meal for the group of us--and it felt like such a waste) I would have been happier eating spaghetti Os from a can. If I hadn't been a "guest" of a family I would have told the management how HORRID it was, and I would have sent the food back. I heard several comments from others how bad it was, but I didn't want to be rude again- I totally agreed with them.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
