Gotta say i am a fan of milkshakes... and these guys do Milkshakes of the month Banana split is this months flavor .. i must say this bad boy was good! Very good!! I went with the spicy fries with melted monterey jack cheese..another tasty adventure! This being a burger joint..gotta go with their zacs double bacon cheese burger..who can say no to bacon on a cheese burger. Very tasty burger, kinda small so you know you'll be ordering another one. Saw some of their menue options... a cheeseburger salad... really.. i mean really! How can you feel guilty by ordering this... The price is not expensive for the quality you are getting.. basically you can get 2 of their burgers, or chicken sandwiches to 1 from 5 guys(plus 5 guys doesn't have the wider selections to choose from) don't know but this is as good or better than 5 guys.... They got shakes here! Place is clean and bright, staff is helpfull and nice. plus you can watch tv as you eat... yea did i mention great milkshakes.. brought the peanut butter one home .. solid 4 here

Big fan of Zac's burgers! Always the lunch destination for me and my kids. They have great milkshake flavors and they are always tempting you with new burgers of the month. The friendly staff always interacts with the kids which is super cool. We have also visited the Aston location- exact same experience!

I've given this place so many chances but I always end up disappointed. Their Burger meat taste so strange. Almost like its just been frozen then thawed about 15 times. I can't describe the flavor of the meat to well unfortunately, its just bad. I got really sick here once and it ended up ruining my precious Friday night. Stay away!!

Good food, reasonably priced, and very nice people. I would highly recommend them over any other fast food joints in the area, and they are better than five guys!

Went here for the first time today after moving to the neighborhood. First impression- the place needs to be cleaned and a fresh coat of paint. The girl at the counter was nice but not going to go out of her way to welcome me as a first timer or answer any of the usual questions with more than a one word answer. Biggest turnoff- customers/workers/I don't know who they were, were leaning over the counter and chatting with the cook. I understand that people are gonna want to chat if they know you, but not during your shift, or at least don't let your belly and pony tail be hanging on the counter- Ew. End of story- fries are good, burgers are decent but pricey, don't go here if you don't like feeling like you have to wash your hands after touching everything or you expect great customer service.

Sure, I'll eat a burger here. It's no Five Guys, but it is a decent meal at a fair price, and I can feel marginally better about feeding my kids here rather than at McDonalds.

The staff were friendly and the burger I got was very tasty! It had mozzarella and bacon, and a bunch of toppings. The sweet potato fries though were incredible!!! Only criticism is the portions were a little small, so plan accordingly!

Got the five guys vibe when I walked in but definitely not the five guys taste. Customer service wasn't terrible but they definitely didn't seem happy to be there. Burgers seemed somewhat small as well. I don't think I'll personally be back but it's a nice place to stop in if your in walking distance of the area.

Went here on Sunday afternoon, looking for something quicker and not completely unhealthy. I was pleasantly surprised. I've always thought 5 Guys was just okay, seemed more hyped up than it deserved in my opinion - and it's impossible not to compare 5 Guys to Zac's. however, Zac's wins. Their burgers are better than 5 Guys, to me at least. Their onion rings were quite tasty as well - and their prices can't be beat. I got a double burger as I wasn't going to eat the bun, but I don't think they were all that small - just about the same size as 5 Guys, to me. I will definitely be coming here again, but so far I am impressed.

I've never had a satisfied meal at Zacs. Always a bit too greasy and I always leave feeling as though I should've gone somewhere else. Not worth it.

It was pretty good. I ordered the double cheeseburger and some waffle fries. Got all the toppings on it, which was ketchup, mustard, onions, pickles, relish, hot and sweet peppers, and added lettuce to it. When I first saw the burger I thought it was pretty small and was kind of disappointed but after eating all of it was pretty full cause i ordered the fries. The taste is similar to five guys, its just a little smaller. I would say the price is pretty cheap for burgers these days and would recommend it if you are in the area and do not want fast food. I will try it again

Zac's has a decent burger and sides. The milkshakes are awesome, but nothing you can't get elsewhere. Overall there are places that do it better, but Zac's is enjoyable and a decent meal.

I think that zacs burgers is a great place. They have quality food at a great low price. The milkshakes taste great. They only reason I am not giving it five stars is because i think the burgers are a little smaller then a regular size burger and have average taste burgers but they are still a quality resturant.

I had high hopes when Zack's came to Havertown. A good burger place in town would be a win. Unfortunately, they are clearly not up to the competition. With so many good burger places locally, Freddies, Elevation and the much bigger Five Guys, to just be middling. The prices, seem high. The portions, just middle of the road. The service, average. In short, meh.

The Burgers are cheap here for a reason and the fries are nothing special. I don't recommend this place if you are expecting a good burger.

No way is this place better than 5 guys. Just average and I was disappointed in the OR. They are the frozen kind, ugh.

Here are the burgers that Delco grew up on, while there are other burger joint names that folks swear by in the county, Zac's is the only place that delivers the type of burger that folks remember in the county. While it's not the cookie cutter patties of the international and national chains, and no peanut shells everywhere, Zac's gives a good flavorful burger for a very fair price. C'mon where else does one find a good bacon double cheeseburger, with the works on it, for under five bucks. While the fries and onion rings are typical, the waffle fries are livened up with chili and cheese, or Jack cheese and Old Bay seasoning, to make them serious contenders. But the best part of stopping at Zac's is their Hand dipped and spun Milkshakes. With yummy creations like the Banana Split milkshake, a Zac's run is not complete without one. I want to try their wings and salads, or even a hot dog, but I always get burgers and a shake... Folk's, ya gotta hit this joint and enjoy it for yourselves. Especially, with their staff who are friendly and very much a part of the neighborhood. My only wish is that they'd offer delivery somehow...

Not bad, not worth the 20 minute drive on burger Sunday. Glad I tried it. Just no wow factor, but if I lived closer I would go again.

A 2.5 would be a more appropriate rating. A nice convenient place to take the family. Prices are a little steep for a burger/shake joint (almost $10 for 3 small milkshakes). Noticed on my last receipt an additional .50 cent charged as a "swipe fee." I assume this was for using a cc. Make sure you do your bicep curls before trying to pull open the doors here. For some reason the doors are incredibly stiff.

Thanks to the crap economy, Zac's is now one of my favorites. Their burgers are pretty tasty...We also like their onion rings, and their crab cakes. Usually the bill comes to about $6 each...pretty good! The staff is always super friendly and the restaurant is always clean. Having Zac's around the corner has pretty much made it easy for me and the boy to have a reasonable meal out if we don't have time to cook...

I just moved around the corner and was very excited to plan a take over of this place. I was very underwhelmed with this Zac's. I've been to others and they were better. The burgers here seemed dry and lacked flavor. You are better off going to the 5 guys down Lawrence rd. or if you are on a burger mission Charlie's off of 420 is worth the ride. I'll give Zac's another chance (or five) in hopes that I just caught an off day.
