Had The Works pizza. It was ok. Wife got the Baked Ziti with Meat Sauce and Cheese. The ziti was NOT baked. It was a boiled ziti with a plain tomatoe sauce. No cheese at all. Not "baked" at all. She also ordered her house salad with honey mustard on the side. It came drenched in honey mustard. And this cost $11.95? Will not order takeout from Giuseppi's again. It used to be good. Now just below average.

Great food, and the pizza is the best in the area. Super clean and has a really good selection of take out beers.

I think this place has good pizza. That is the only reason it gets two stars. The pizza has always come great and delivered hot. When it comes to things other than pizza, this place is a flop! Last night I ordered the pasta with meatballs and my wife ordered the cheese steak Stromboli. The pasta sauce was terrible. It tasted like someone took a can of tomato sauce from a hunts can and poured it over the noodles. The meatballs were nothing but breading and had no flavoring. There was no garlic or parsley in the sauce or the meatballs, which made them bland. The Stromboli had peppers in it, which is OK, if they are cooked. The peppers were crunchy and under cooked. The entire meal was disappointing, to say the least. Stick to their pizza. It really is the only thing we like about the place.

I ordered one of their main dinner entrees. The spaghetti came topped with a tomato sauce which tasted like an opened can of Hunts tomato paste. The veal was drowned in lemon butter sauce.

Guiseppe's is consistently a great place for eat in or take out. They have a nice, though small, bar area with great bartenders. The servers are always nice and know their stuff, too. Everything I have ever had there (and I grew up nearby, so I have tried a lot) has been good. Whether you want dinner, slices, or bar snacks, everything is pretty solid. They do some good specials, too (half price apps on Saturday nights and a Monday night football party, just to name a few). Since they serve food pretty late (11 or midnight), it isn't uncommon for groups of highschool students or other under 21 year olds to congregate there. If they are too loud, just ask to move to another table and I am sure you will be accommodated.

Easily the best pizza in the area, which I can say with confidence since I've tried pretty much every pizza joint in a two mile radius of my apartment, searching for the perfect pie. The crust is thin but chewy, the sauce is tangy, and the cheese is cheesy and flavorful, not at all gummy. You can order online, which is really cool, even though you can't pay online (you just pay cash when it's delivered). Try the beer battered fries. So good you don't even need ketchup with them!

YUM! We got delivery so i cant give TOO detailed of a review, but as far as delivery goes they are great. I LOVE that you can order online. LOVE IT! Service was really fast too, a major plus. We got a medium mushroom pizza and it was super good! Id eat here again. It didnt floor me, but its a decent pie with fast service and online ordering.

Giuseppe's has been my favorite pizza in the area since I was a little kid. I would rate it as some of the best pizza I've had (not counting when I go to visit my family in NY). We stopped in last night for dinner, and it was great, as always. My general policy when I go to Giuseppe's is that I get a plain pizza. This is one of the few times that I am a purist. For me, the pizza is just that good. My dad got the veal parm sandwich (which I tried), and that was delicious, too. Also, they passed my iced tea test - top tier unsweetened iced tea. The prices are extremely reason able (though I find it strange that a large plain pizza is the same price as a personal plain pizza), and the servers are very nice. The ambiance is relaxed (the interior looks very up to date, possibly recently renovated), and there is also a bar area. I hear they also have food specials each night (e.g. Thursdays are wing nights, etc.). I would definitely recommend stopping by Giuseppe's if you're in the area.

Let me start by saying I have been raving about Giuseppe's pizza for 25 years. I moved to Schwenksville and still make the drive because I am very picky about my pizza. I arrived home with my pie & my husband was thrilled. We both took one bite & looked at each other. It was horrible. The crust was hard on the bottom & not cooked towards the top. It was very stale. In my opinion, the dough tasted like it was old or frozen. This was soooo disappointing. My friends think I am crazy to drive over an hour for pizza. I tried to go on their website to tell them about my experience & the only thing you can do is place an order. This really sucks...I'm gunshy about ordering again since the last time we threw the leftovers away.

This is a fairly local place for me, and I've been here a few times with my family and kids. We've always enjoyed our visits. The bar also has a nice dining area with plenty of TVs to watch some sports. Servers are fast and friendly. Prices are good. This last trip I had some wings and their traditional pork sandwich. I'm not sure if it was because I was very, very hungry, or the quality of the food, but it didn't last long! Outside of some places in the city (DiNic's, Tony Luke's), this place has the best pork sandwich I have ever tasted.

This place has been around a long time -- I remember getting pizza from here when I was growing up in Hatfield in the '80s. It started out with one smallish dining room, but now it has three separate dining rooms, including one with a full bar in an attempt at drawing a happy hour crowd. I went here recently with my two sisters and their husbands. They all ordered hoagies and draft beers I got two plain slices of pizza ($1.75 each) and water. Giuseppe's pizza is normally the holy grail for me, but the other night the pizza was just okay. I made the mistake of getting slices instead of strong-arming someone into splitting a whole pizza with me. The slices weren't freshly made, but I didn't expect that. I wish they had personal pizzas. That would get them five stars from me for sure. The service was great, bathrooms were clean (cherry vanilla scented soap!!) and reasonably priced -- the bill came to less than $50 for five people. I'll be going back to Hatfield this weekend and I'll definitely be ordering from Giuseppe's.

Giuseppe's is a solid suburban pizza restaurant. Their dough, sauce, cheese, and toppings are all...solid, leading to good pizza but far from a "must try." The draw of Giuseppe's is the atmosphere, it has a newer bar area that is fun for younger crowds (Except they have regular tube tv's, a definite no no in 2011) along with ample seating in the main dining area great for families. They have an extensive menu with endless options, this feature is a near dead give away that the restaurant is a jack of all trades but master of none. Their fries, wings, sandwiches, and pizza are all fairly good. I enjoy going with my family on a random sunday, however, Giuseppes is definitely not a go to restaurant for pizza.

We love Guiseppe's! We are there every weekend and absolutely love the specials they offer! We have the same waitress every week, Angie. She's absolutely awesome! Giuseppe's is our go-to pizza place. I'm originally from the NYC metro area and am VERY picky about my pizza. We've tried other area pizzeria's and Giuseppe's is by far and above the best in my opinion. My other favorite menu item: mozzarella sticks, which I am also picky about and Giuseppe's does very well. You might wonder, why not rate higher? Well, to be honest I've tried some of their other dishes and found those to be just about average. So, a 3 for the regular menu, 5 for the pizza, averages out to a 4. If you enjoy specialty pies, give the bruschetta pie a try. It's worth the extra cost. Also take advantage of their specials - on weekdays (I think it's Monday thru Wednesday) if you buy two pies you get a third free. It's a great way to stock up on leftovers for the freezer.

I ordered food for takeout and even told the person on the phone that I had just driven for 8 hours but when I got to the restaurant to pick up my order everyone just looked at each other like I just stopped in from Mars. My order apparently had disappeared into thin air. Normally I would have walked out but my wife and I were too tired and hungry to order elsewhere so I waited while they started my order from scratch. The manager saw me and asked what was up and when I told him he put a rush on the order. He should have offered some kind of a break on the price considering I am a pretty good customer but he did not. No more of this place for me. And oh yeah the prices are extremely high for average Italian food!

I'm not great at reviews, and I'm afraid too good of reviews set the expectations too high for some yelp users who left less than stellar remarks. Or maybe they were confused as to where they were, because those don't sound like Giuseppe's to me! Instead, here's an expectation managed review: The pizza is what you'd expect from a great pizza place, great pizza leaving little room for complaints, but possibly room for adjustment to individual styles or preferences. The toppings are fresh, full of flavor (as much as they are supposed to have, not like they are some sort of weird radioactive mutant extra flavor 10 stars out of 5 save the world superhero toppings some seem to want to even offer 3 stars). The crust Is thin, but not crispy, its that northeastern/New York style where you'll likely fold it to eat it. They are stretched by hand, and I'd love to have the recipe so I could maybe make good pizza when I'm away from here. I don't generally see the crust left behind either even by chronic crust haters. So basically what you end up with is a properly executed pizza. I don't see how you could have any complaints. The only thing I can see is perhaps you like one style of sausage over another, or perhaps you don't like the new York style, or well, taste is subjective, so maybe you just grew up somewhere where either they severely overloaded spices (and I do mean severely.....some won't eat my bruschetta when I make it because the topping has "too much garlic" in it....I'm not sure there is any such thing!) or you come from a place where any spice is a bad thing (encountered many of those in my time!) If you are in the average though, if you grew up somewhere in the northeast (PA, NJ, NY, CT, MA, etc) you should be happy with what you find at Giuseppe's Pizza. My one thing where I might set expectations too high is I don't think any other pizza in the area even holds a candle to Giuseppe's. Sorry, I had to tell the truth there. That said, once I found Giuseppe's I stopped looking for anyone else's pizza. So I haven't tried everyone's in the area. There are a few I can think of which might be competitive. (No suggestions needed please, this is about Giuseppe's not other places!) Just as a quick note, I have had other items on the menu when we have dined in as a family. Nothing I ever had there was like as one reviewer said, like hunts tomato sauce poured on pasta. I have been to places which were like that. Unsurprisingly they often had Italian sports cars out front and didn't seem to want repeat business. Giuseppe's isn't like that. So for the tldr crowd, its a great place, but don't go in expecting it to blow your mind, instead, expect it to be one of your favorite places to grab pizza, cheesesteaks, as well as other Italian foods.

I typically don't write reviews on yelp, usually on OpenTable, but I am compelled to warn potential guest from dining at Giuseppe's on Cowpath Rd. First the food was good and if we didn't have the issues we had, iwe would probably go back. Service was not great, but it wasn't terrible either, just really slow. We live fairly far from this restaurant, over 30 miles so this was a first time for us here. A few days later I received a phone call from my bank's fraud department about some recent activity on my card and turns out that someone had my credit card information and just happened to use it across the street at RiteAid in Lansdale for over a $1000 dollars! Conscience? maybe, but I think there is some shading business going on there and wanted to warn anyone to watch out.

My husband and I took a friend to lunch here. We decided to split a pizza, our waiter seemed like he did not know the order and it was very hard to ask him questions about their pizza. We ordered a half Hawaiian and half buffalo chicken pizza. Our wait for the pizza was not horrible, but could have been quicker. We all got water with our meals, which were never refilled or even offered to be refilled. When our waiter brought out the plates and silverware we returned a plate and a set of silverware to get cleaned. Our pizza came to the table and was decent. Our waiter took a very long time to return to the table and forgot my ranch I asked for. Apart from all that our waiter never cleared our table, even after we ordered our dessert. When we finally got our check he never took 15% of our meal to donate to the charity that he said he would at the beginning. And to top it all off as we were leaving and getting into our car, the COOK was JUMPING IN THEIR OUTSIDE DUMPTER... with his apron on. EW. We will never return to this restaurant or recommend it to anyone.

When we are in town, we always stop by for a large pie. I made the mistake of getting a vegetable and having it for take out made my pizza a bit soggy. Thank goodness for pizza stone, because it'll crisp it right up. I recommend eating it on the spot and not do take out. For a large pizza and options of having half and half toppings, it was just under $20. I'm told customizing my food in the East Coast is frowned upon, but I still like to order my pizza the way I like it. They add the right amount of cheese, toppings to sauce ratio is good and it's definitely a pie you definitely will want to break your diet for. The crust is not too thick, the cheese is not overdone and the flavors are far from lacking. This place lives up to the East Coast pie making reputation and they even have friendly service. The alcoholic drinks are nice and strong, the place is nice and big to host parties. What is there not to like?

Some of the best wedding soup I have ever had is served right here. Have had several sandwiches here and they have all been fantastic - including cheesesteaks, chicken cheesesteak and especially the hot pork! Their entrees are yummy too - very good marinara sauce and yummy meatballs which are flavorful and not overly dry. My mom loves their calamari while my dad loves their pizza and spaghetti with hot sausage. Everything is well priced for the most part too. Only complaint is the parking lot - always disorganized it seems.

Not crazy about their food. Pizza isn't that great, the chicken steak seems to be dry and not enough cheese. Their calzone doesn't even include ricotta cheese. The worst part are the waitress, they never seem to have enough of them. Their running around like crazy chickens. No fault thru them, the owner is too cheap and makes them twice as hard. I would not recommend this place. I wouldn't even give them one star.

3 different waiters and we still couldn't get served after 20 mins of waiting. Sad to see how far this place has fallen.

I was in for lunch with some girlfriends and had Ashley as our waitress, what a sweet heart. The service was amazing. Probably the best waitress I've had. The food was great too. Definitely would recommend this place.
