Big Mikes steamed crabs are always good...never a bad batch! Where others are calling their crabs large and jumbo, Big Mike would only call mediums! His crabs are well worth the price for the size and flavor! Their fried chicken is yummy too!!

Stopped nearby and could smell the crabs so we thought we'd give it a try for lunch. It's more of a crabhouse than a restaurant, so a very casual atmosphere with formica booths inside and picnic tables outside. The staff was very friendly and you can tell they are family, and the menu's about what you'd expect. But we came for crabs, so we ordered a dozen large and a side of hush puppies. The hush puppies were small but tasted homemade. The crabs only took about 15 minutes but were hot & fresh. The were the right size for larges and all ours were full. The seasoning was real Old Bay and it was liberally applied....but it seemed as though all the seasoning was put on AFTER steaming. Most places steam them with seasoning on them, and I really think this gives them a better flavor. Still, good crabs and definitely steamed, not boiled (scary, but some places will boil them!) Can't speak for anything else on the menu, but overall a good place for crabs.

Ate at Big Mikes last night and we had the all you can eat crabs. What a great deal! Service was wonderful. They close at 9 but let us keep ordering until way after 10. Place very clean and staff was very friendly

Mikes Crabhouse was okay...it had a cafeteria style feel which was complemented by my food being served to me on a cafeteria tray. The food was good, tasty and reasonably priced, cant complain. Staff was friendly enough, no complaints there either. The ambiance and lighting was harsh, but again, no real complaints. I say check it out, get some crabs and enjoy your meal/

Getting big delicious crabs and not having to drive to the beach is awesome! Other food is OK. My burger came out of a box that looked like you could get it at Sam's Club. Meh. Stick with the crabs, shrimp, clams and oysters. The all you can eat crabs is worth it if you have the time.

This place is such a great bang for your buck! It's laid back and not fancy at all...but it's a crab shack, so what else would you expect? My fiance and I found ourselves here on a Saturday night and really enjoyed ourselves. Awesome service and the food was incredible! He ordered the all-you-can-eat crab legs (which came with 2 sides) and I ordered the steamed shrimp. Both were great and the prices were reasonable. If we find ourselves out in this neck of the woods again then we will be back!

Great no frills place! We have only tried the large crabs and steamed shrimp so far, but that's what we go here for.

Was ok. Tried the cream of crab soup which ended up being very salty so I didn't order it. My counterpart had the coconut shrimp which was over fried, good sweet sauce though. I had the pecan crusted tilapia which was good. Not delicious. It was over cooked...with the darker/near burnt side flipped over and very small. The bread crumbs all fell off of the fish. Should have had the crabcrake or some of the crabs themselves to properly try this place. Just eh.
