My goodness. This place was amazing! When I visiting Seton Hill University to decide whether or not I wanted to transfer, my dad and I needed some quick semi inexpensive food and this was the place to go! Wonderful service, food that actually had meat and not filler in it and super hot with a lot of food on the plate. Though I will not be visiting Greensburg again if anyone is staying for a few days, this is the place to go!

Great food and excellent service. The Kung Pao chicken was prepared with a crispy fry coating before adding the sauce - delicious! The Wanton Soup was also very flavorful. And as a bonus, they have a bottomless basket if Fried Wanton waiting on the table. I'll be back!

Asian food in a small town is often a bit of a risk, and Greensburg is no exception. However, I'm happy to say I've had very good luck with delivery from Szechuan Garden! My roommate and I have ordered from here several times, and between the two of us we've tried quite a bit of the menu. We've tried (in order from awesome to less awesome): --Szechuan chicken: this was really delicious, and will probably be one of my go-to orders. --steamed dumplings: simple, but they do a good job here. Very yummy. Even if you accidentally spill the chili oil in the container. --fried rice: again simple, but quality. I've tried a couple of different varieties, and it always has plenty of "stuff" (veggies, etc.) for lots of flavor. --crab wontons: this isn't something you can mess up, but they're good here. --eggplant in garlic sauce: I was in a vegetable mood once, and this hit the spot. The texture of the eggplant is only good on the first day, though-- I'd recommend getting a small size because the leftovers weren't great. --lo mein: a little oily for my taste, but the flavor is good, and like the fried rice, it comes with plenty of "stuff." I'll order this again. --Mongolian beef: the sauce had a flavor that was a little different from most interpretations of this dish, but it was still pretty good. I'd rather order Szechuan but I'd order this again. --spicy wontons: I ordered these accidentally once instead of the dumplings, and while the filling was pretty good, I didn't care for the sauce. --egg rolls: the wrapper was a bit thick for my taste, and the whole thing just had an odd texture. I'd stick to the crab wontons. --General Tso's chicken: my least favorite by far-- the sauce was all right, but the chicken was overly breaded and the chicken itself was not good. Stick to stir-fries here, and avoid the deep-fried chicken dishes. Delivery has been accurate and fast, which is especially impressive because my apartment is not easy to find. Prices are reasonable, and I like that you can get large and small orders of things. I still miss my neighborhood Chinese place from home, but if you're looking for Asian food in Greensburg, Szechuan Garden is an unexpected good find.

Consistently the Best Chinese I've had in Greensburg. Their General Tso's chicken is spot on, crispy and delicious. Everything I've had here has been good. Tea, egg rolls, won tons, all first rate. Great atmosphere as well and the really good value. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place, even for nice occasions.

This is my favorite Chinese restaurant in westmoreland county. I always get the chicken with mixed vegetables. Everything I have had from here has been delicious. The service is friendly and fast. And the restaurant is very clean. It's also a bit more expensive than most Chinese restaurants, but to me it's worth it to pay a little extra for good quality food from a clean restaurant.

We ordered the hot and sour soup, lettuce wraps, and Capital Chicken. Hot tea was served complementary. Food was amazing and so was the service! Definitely check it out.

Several of us arrived in Greensburg for summer classes at the local university and wanted to try out a local restaurant. We entered "Szechuan" in our phones and Siri led us to this place. When we arrived at a small, dubious-looking strip mall, we had a debate. I'm sorry to say I won. In my defense, some if my favorite restaurants haven't looked impressive from the outside. The inside was nice - dark red interior and cozy. However, it was also a little disconcerting that we were the only customers. During the entire time we were there, no one else came in either. I think locals probably know the food isn't that great - and visitors can't easily find it. While the staff was pleasant enough - the food was not very good. I love crab Rangoon, and while the crust on ours was light and flaky, it had an odd, gamy taste. We didn't even finish them (a first). The entrees tasted "off". Not "oh, god I'm going to be sick" - but "off" in the way that if your boyfriend's mom had cooked the meal, you'd have to be conscious of not turning your mouth down ... and wondering how much you needed to eat to be polite. Honestly, I've had worse - and this is the only Chinese restaurant in Greensburg that I've eaten at, so I can't make another recommendation, but I've had (marginally) better food from my local grocery store deli.

Excellent service and food! Steamed dumplings were outstanding and everyone enjoyed their meals. Nice, quiet atmosphere and friendly staff always ready to refill a drink or clear the dishes. We will definitely return!

I've been traveling for a month now from San Francisco and I'm always reluctant visiting a Chinese restaurant, especially in a small town, especially in a strip mall. Walked into Szechuan Garden and was pleasantly surprised at the lovely decor that wasn't tacky Chinese with the typical paper lanterns and formica tables. Nice red colored walls, Chinese Opera pictures, watercolors and nice lighting. Soup is always a good indication of whats to come. Wow, Hot & Sour soup that was excellent! Great balance, filled with tofu, mushrooms, bamboo shoots and overly thickened with corn starch. Reasonably priced rice plates under $8 and huge portions. Chicken and Shrimp had a great brown sauce, pieces of white meat chicken and 4 pieces of shrimp. Eggplant and chicken: another brown sauce, a little greasy, but can't be helped since eggplant is a sponge, would be nicer if it had more chicken.

The take out service was good and the food arrived hot, and before expected. I tried the spring rolls, steamed dumplings, and beef with snow peas. The dumplings were good, the rolls were ok, and the beef was edible, but kinda bad. There was an off flavor with the beef and snow peas. It was about what I'd expect from a tiny town, not especially near a major city. You know it's a very white area when they don't even give you disposable chopsticks. After a lifetime of chinese food, (from NYC/Chicago/LA/etc.) 2 stars is probably being nice. Perhaps other options on the menu are better though.

Here we go again. Greasy, no flavor. We ordered the pu pu platter, chicken Lomein and hot/sour soup. Everything was just terrible. Grease dripping off the spring rolls, beef on the stick under done, you boiled the ribs. Really you boiled them. Wings where great, crab rangoons went in the garbage and the soup bland. Lomein no flavor and Greasy. Fire the person cooking tonight. In their defense they offered to try again and compensate my next order. Bullshit. When I spend more I expect more. I wanted a good meal not a coupon. Very bad job. You get one more chance and your out. This same crap happened a ways back and I just started ordering from China King. Really who ever was cooking needs to find another vocation in life. Flat out trash.

Had delivery tonight. Food came on time and hot! All the condiments I asked for was there. Chicken & Shrimp Pad Thai and Curry Shrimp. Both were was excellent. Pad Thai is plenty for 2 people with of shrimp and chicken. Curry sauce was tasty, just enough curry flavor.

Best Chinese hands down. I've never had a problem here. On their busier times call earlier because they get so busy their wait times get long for pick up/ delivery. They have a seating area to eat in the restaurant which is cool! If you're not that hungry, order during lunch, much cheaper and still enough food.

This is my go-to chinese in Greensburg, PA. I love eating in and taking out. The service is always so nice and the environment is very calm. The food is always fresh and hot and the portions are awesome.

Normally I don't choose Chinese food. There's just always something I would rather have instead. The only way I ever end up eating it is if someone else picks the restaurant. Well somehow, Szechuan Garden stole my heart, and when I'm in the area, that's where I want to go. It's definitely my favorite Chinese food restaurant. Don't let its location in a strip mall behind shop n save fool you, it's actually really cute. The dining room is red and romantic, with soft lighting and linens. And the food is excellent. Everything is super flavorful and decently priced. I love the complimentary tea, and their wonton soup is a new favorite comfort food. The Szechuan chicken is delicious, and Kung pao chicken is also very good. Their sweet and sour chicken is all white meat and is very tasty. Crab wontons are very good. The service is friendly and speedy, and everything is clean. In addition to fortune cookies at the end of your meal, you also get tasty orange slices. Yum!
