I've been to other LongHorn Steakhouses before, but this might be the worst. I placed a fairly large carry-out order using the online system, and specified 11:30am. I placed this order at roughly 10:15am, and the restaurant opens at 11. I arrived at 11:20, and I did not receive my food until 11:45 (they said their online system is new and they haven't quite figured it out yet... I guess that's somehow related to knowing how to read a clock?). I ordered 8 - 8 oz sirloins, and they were all TINY, smaller than any 6 oz I've seen at Texas Roadhouse, Outback, etc. I ordered a salad, and I asked for my steak cooked medium. It was cooked well done, and the balsamic dressing tasted like caesar dressing, even though from the color it was clearly balsamic. I will not be ordering at this LongHorn again.

Bad service and terrible food. I ordered the 11oz ribeye. Not sure what I received. Didn't look like a ribeye, couldn't taste the meat for the seasoning. It was red but it could have been horse for all I know. It was tough enough to be. They get a star for cold beer. The amazing thing is the place was packed. Greensburg needs a good steak place. I dropped $100 dollars on pure crap. When I spend that kind of money it needs to be better than I can do at home. Not saying I'm the next iron chef, I'm trying to point out just how bad steak here, Texas road house and hoss's actually is. I understand folks don't have the time but when you continue to support this junk they are more than willing to continue to do it. Fire up the webber watch a few cooking shows. I'll bet you won't settle then.

The absolute worst. You can get the same overcooked mystery meat in the mall from the Japanese lady; best part it's only 5$ for their secrets.

Steak was very sub-par, nothing special, nothing much more to say.

I am typically not a person who likes chain restaurants, but my wife had a gift card for Longhorn so we decided to go and have lunch there today. I liked the atmosphere of the place, and that's about all. We ordered a spinach dip and the chips that came with it were fairly nasty so I used the bread instead. I ordred a steak salad and it came it a strange bowl and the stake was not cut up. When I tried to cut it, it was almost impossible because of the quality of the meat. I tried to make it better with the dressing, but it also was extremely salty. Lastly, the waitress started clearing our plates before we were finished eating. I will not be back. Oh, by the way, I tried to leave a comment on their web site and the form was broken.

An average chain restaurant with few surprises. On a business trip, I stopped by here with a friend. It was just past the prime dinner hour but we didn't have to wait longer than 10 minutes. That was a bonus. We started with an appetizer, specifically, the Wild West Shrimp appetizer. Wow. The shrimp was in a light, crispy batter. I prefer my shrimp not-fried, but this might get me to change my mind. What made this unusual, were the mixed-in jalapeno peppers. There was just enough kick to counter the crispy and to balance with the ranch dressing. The menu said it was made with cherry peppers, but I know a jalapeno when I see/taste it, so perhaps this was an anomaly. Either way. It was good. The steaks were okay, not great, but most chain steak places will serve you something passable for a reasonable price. It's no exception here. The wait staff kept our drinks replenished unobtrusively and without asking. My only real complaints were 1) the steak was undercooked for what I ordered but unless something is completely inedible, I don't send food back. I'd rather not take the chance. 2) There were only two of us dining, but the waitress mixed up the orders -- both the salad and the main course. That's a bit of a pet peeve for me when I'm not with a large group. But when you're with friends, you overlook the minor annoyances. I'd be willing to stop by again when I'm next in the area and as long as they keep serving the shrimp and peppers appetizer.

I really like everything here except the steaks. I have never had a good steak here yet in at least 5 visits. I've even sent a few back but have never been happy with the results. They did comp one of the steaks though. My wife never has a problem but she likes her steak well done while I like medium. The rest of the food is great. I especially recommend the sweet potato with cinnamon and butter - it is the best I've had.

Went when they 1st opened and was not impressed, We decided the other day to give them a 2nd chance...The food was much better but the service was terrible. Either way you are going to over pay for ok food and a server who really doesn't want to be there and doesn't care.

First off this is a chain steak house. You will get chain quality. That goes for the food and service. I took my wife this past Saturday. First the service was very slow. We went at 4:30pm and the place was empty. The staff was more interested in talking with each other (in plain site) than taking our order. When our order was taken it was a while to get our two unset ice teas. When we ordered these drinks we asked for spoons and splenda( I could see Splenda on the other unused tables yet the waitress told me they discontinued this sweetener????) I got up and got my own Splenda. The drinks came and she dropped them and RAN away. No spoons no straws???? I had to ask another waiter for straws. We used our knife to stir. The bread is amazing. It is a honey wheat and very good. Although you would have thought there was a shortage of butter in Pennsylvania. We asked for more ( you guessed it, never got it) Our side salads came and they were good. Way too much dressing though. By this time our drinks were out and could not find our waitress to refill. Did I mention the place was empty? Now our food came, my wife ordered the Parmesan crusted chicken breasts and a sweet potato. She said it wS extremely tasty, moist and full of flavor. It came out hot. I had the double bone in pork chops. They were fatty and chewy yet had a good flavor and came out hot. I also had a side of rice which was ok at best. Kinds clumped together in some spots. We ordered the dessert sample and it was very tasty. Chocolate cake, cheesecake and apple pie with ice cream. The pricing is not bad. What you would expect for a chain restaurant. All in all it was average. If the service was better I would have given four stars. Good place to go, choose the right dish and don't hold your breath on refills of ice tea!

I don't care if this is a chain restaurant. This place is the best of the 3 chains in the steak business in a midfle class approach. Not a Ruth Chris at all but no throwing peanuts no dancing in the aisle and no loud music to drown your conversation. Food is all good and a good menu with great prices. Above Average but again not a 5 star.

Service wasn't that great. The ribeye was outstanding though. Salads could have been better.

LongHorn is a chain steakhouse and feels like it, but it's still a solid choice for steak here in Greensburg. Food is consistently pretty good. They're not the best steaks I've ever had, but never bad and also cooked properly to order. Non-steak dishes have been pretty good, too; I had delicious grilled shrimp once, and the shaved prime rib sandwich is delicious. I haven't tried any of the healthier appetizers, but can vouch for both the "Texas Tonion" and the jalapeño poppers. Execution can be a bit off, with things like overcooked broccoli or way too much brown sugar on a sweet potato, but overall we have no complaints. Service is occasionally a bit scattered, but we've never had major issues. LongHorn's hovering between 3 and 4 stars, but because I do go somewhat regularly on purpose, I'm rounding up to 4.

Best longhorn I've been to. The inside is clean and taken care of and the staff is very personable. Since there's not THAT many places to go in gbg they do get long lines and waits on the weekends so use their call ahead option! You'll only have to wait a sliver of time actually at the restaurant ! but if you don't want to call ahead or wait, I would sit at the bar & eat, the bartenders are the greatest!

I have never been to Longhorn to eat, but I have heard some great things. Well, after having pretty good meal, I can say that it did live up to the hyoe I heard. I had to get a steak just becasue that is what I hear they are known for, so I decided on the juice T-bone steak. It was pretty delicious. Cooked just how I ordered, and the side of broccoli was also good. Nothing too mind blowing about this place. The food was good, and I am sure since it is a chain it is always pretty consistent. I am happy I went, and I am sure I will be back soon. Next time I get a Darden Gift Card maybe I'll use it here instead of always going to Red Lobster.. yummmmmm

Longhorn has been a favorite of mine ever since they came to Greensburg. Going there tonight however, I was disappointed in my steak(too well done, I asked for medium). After stewing about it awhile I decided to call the waitress over and tell her how disappointed I was. Well, she immediately said she would have the kitchen cook another one for me. I waited anxiously, hoping I hadn't done the wrong thing. Once my new steak was prepared the assistant manager, Chris, brought it over to me. Even the potatoes were new. I had already eaten mine. My steak was perfectly done and delicious!! My waitress and the assistant manager could not have been more accommodating. While I are my new steak, my husband ordered the molten chocolate cake with I've cream. What a wonderful meal. AND they comped the dessert! Unbelievable service and catered to my needs. I love you guys! You really know how to make a customer for life!! Thanks

I took my daughters there 2-18-2011 for dinner and the food was below average and over priced. I received my meal and the food was cold. After complaining they brought me another meal and the potato was cold. Told the waitress and the meal was removed from the bill. My daughters got salads with salmon and steak and the meat was cold. I will not go there again.
