Very happy with my experience with this restaurant! I was in Erie on business and in search of a moderately healthy diner to be delivered to my hotel (which by the way, was kinda far and out of the way for them but they still delivered!) I am a special order customer, which I recognize can be a pain but it is what it is. I asked for the seafood supreme w out past and double veg. Small communication breakdown at first but they cleared It right up and we're super patient. After many years in the bizz, I am more than grateful for patient service They delivered within a half hour (delivery drive was a cool dude) and the food was delish. The veggies were fresh and plentiful. There was a bountiful amount of seafood; had to have had atleast 7 shrimp and tons of crab. A very buttery dish since it is typically served over pasta but I enjoyed soaking it up w the bread the delivered in the little sand which baggy (which I found cute ).

Recently got take out from Valerios for the first time. I was pleasantly surprised with the taste and quality. I ordered the Calzone, which was prepared before the slotted time. Kudos to the staff on keeping a good workflow. When it comes to pizzas or calzones, it's mainly about 2 things. The crust and the sauce. Valerios did a bang up job on both! The crust was crispy on the outside, but maintained a soft but spongy interior. Also the sauce was bold and held its own, it didn't rely on the toppings to give it flavor. My only criticism is that the toppings were on distributed evenly to get a bit of cheese, topping, sauce and bread with each bite. That being said, I loved the crimping on the dough. It made for a fun dipping breadstick. Would I order/visit them again? Absolutely!

I think Valerios is a good place. Inside it's not the biggest place in the world if you decide to dine in. I witnessed first hand this place can become fairly busy inside if you decide to eat here. The prices here are very reasonable! I had chicken parm and the girlfriend had homemade pasta and meatballs. Both dishes had the option of soup or salad. We both had salads and they where fairly big portion wise and they where served with bread. The main course. I thought the chicken parm tasted ok, it wasn't the biggest I ever had but by no means the worst either. There was plenty of cheese as well as sauce on top that tasted good too! As for her homemade pasta and meatballs. The noodles where huge and because she couldn't finish it all, I had to try. They tasted very good as did the meatballs, very tasty really! I'd come back here when I'm in the area, I mean you really can't beat the prices. I did see the subs come out and they looked terrific! Maybe next time!

Got delivery large sausage pizza garlic bread and fries zucchini. Aside from the pizza looking like it was tilted for a bit the cheese and toppings slide off one side was good tasting pizza not quite ny style almost like a pan pizza but still good. The zucchini was fried just right with good flavor. The garlic bread was a whole hoagie roll split in half and baked. Was good. Overall good experience

Loves this place, not much more to say on the matter. Grew up in Erie and moved to Cleveland in my 30's all I want when I get Back in town is a Valerio's sub or pasta dinner (or a Sara's cone or Dog) Great food at a incredible value what else could you ask for?

Good pizza, good prices, good crust, no complaints. Overall good food. Not great or exceptional, but you won't be disappointed. I bought 2 pizzas on a coupon and they were good.

I've been eating here for years (at least once a week). Valerio's has other locations, but this one is my go-to. Very clean, nice decor, friendly and attentive staff, and great prices. Now, the food. I'm a sandwich lover, and there is no better lunch than a Valerio's sub. I have had them all--meatball, turkey & cheese, eggplant parm, and all the rest--but my favorite is the tuna melt sub. Tasty FRESH Italian sub rolls, fresh ingredients, ample portions. I like to start out with their pasta and bean soup, which is great. Sometimes thick, sometimes thinner, but always tasty. Occasionally, I'll venture away from the sandwiches. Their rigatoni is very good, as is their grilled chicken salad. Again, ample portions served with fresh Italian bread. I'm not a huge fan of their pizza, but I know people who swear by it. This lcation is not that big, and can get very busy around the lunch hour. The staff really does their best to keep things moving, and clean and clear tables as quickly as possible. Still, it's well worth waiting a couple off minutes to get a seat.

Just had dinner here tonight. We had 2 different pizzas and they where outstanding , the crust is simply amazing add to that tasty sauce and toppings and your in for a great treat. We also had fettuccine Alfredo and the past sampler and these are another two fabulous entrees. Another treat was the Italian wedding soup , wow so good. Next time we are back in Erie we will be back.

I love Valerio's for lunch. They have generous portions and a great variety of choices on their lunch menu. The service is fast and friendly AND the food is simple, yummy, and consistently prepared.

There are sheep that could run this restaurant better than the owners and management staff at Valerio's. The sad part is the food is actually pretty good although you just don't have access to it for delivery orders due to sheer incompetence. I've ordered delivery from Valerio's about 10 times now and literally 50% of those orders have been messed up and their recovery is laughable. Case in point I made an order today and I had to recite the order three times for the order taker to understand it. The order comes 50 minutes later and its missing a huge part of the order. I call and they indicate the driver will return with the missing items. After one hour the driver failed to return and I call again. Guess what, the driver still has't left. Keep in mind this the fifth order I've had fumbled by Valerio's. Thanks for not giving a crap about me as a customer Valerio's. Rookie mistakes on top of rookie mistakes. As I type this its 10:05 PM and I still don't have my order delivered and I ordered at 7:45 PM. P.S. Delivery guy comes at 10:10 to delivery my order. Of course the wings I ordered DO NOT have the side of ranch I paid for and ordered. You guys rock!

So my husband and I decided to try Valerios again. We swy they have a large triple-double pizza which is three layers of cheese and two toppings. This time it was much better the crust was crisp and buttery on the outside, and chewy inside. The toppings were plentiful but they still don't have jalapenos...damn it! The wings were again good and large. I'm wondering if there offers for a large one topping just uses a different crust or what because the difference between the crusts was quite different. The first pizza we ordered looked like it was made with one of those pizza crusts that are made in the bakery dept of your local grocery market. These cheese was almost absent as were the toppings. The second time around was great I hope it stays that way

Had takeout on a biz trip. Their $19.99 family special could feed a true family. Gave a good portion to staff here at hotel.

If you're looking for decent restaurant style pizza in Erie, this is the place to go. If you're a dough person, you might not like their pizza - it's boring to be direct. There's your mild crunch but aside from that not much texture or taste. The toppings, on the other hand, are fresh, cut mildly chunky, and filling making the pizza pretty well made. The service is fast and friendly and the place is BYOB.

Self seating style restaurant. Just after I sat down my waitress come over and took my order. My drink and appetizer came minutes after ordered them. The buffalo chicken pizza I ordered is my recommendation!

The two stars is for the pizza only. I don't know about their pasta or other meals. I wish I have ordered those instead. The service was great as well but their pizza was more like bread with toppings. They call themselves Italian pizzas but this is an American dough kind of pizza. Almost disgusting dough. I am a thin crust dough person and if you are looking for a real pizza place, go somewhere else. Their dough is thick, so thick and mushy and filling, that is not edible.

Valerio's is a small Italian place attached to a pizza shop. The entrees are generous and tasty. If you want pizza or wings, they are also very good. The restaurant itself is very small, but the staff is friendly and food is brought out promptly. They do give you free bread, but the bread appears and tastes store bought (perhaps from the TOPS across the street). Overall, I give it a 3 stars. It isn't the best place in the world, but it is by far not the worse pizza place I have ever experienced. Prices are really good and the food is worth what you pay. It is family and kid friendly.
