The pizza here was pretty good overall. The sauce seemed a little chunky and mildly sour but when combined with the other ingredients, it actually made for a good pie. The restaurant itself was a bit dingy inside and smelled like a really old house. It did however seem clean and neat. I would recommend it to anyone who wants a decent pizza at a good price.

I had to upgrade my original ranking of Stevo's after having their deep dish and stuffed pizza. In three years of living in Erie I couldn't find pizza that was close to what they make in my hometown of Chicago. Stevo's deep dish can hang with pizza places in the city of Chi and I've eaten a lot of pizza on while on this earth. Their stuffed crust is worth trying as well. Stevo's I'm so glad you are in Erie!

Finally! After 18 years living in Erie, we found a local place that serves up good, thin-crust, brick oven pizza. We bought one pizza from Stevo's and one from Steel 12 (I had heard good things about theirs as well)...a pizza showdown! With a unanimous vote from my family of four...Stevo's wins! We finally have a favorite pizza joint in Erie.

Pizza- 2.5 stars... Wings- 5 Stars As a New Yorker, I compare every slice I eat to that of the average slice I can find just about anywhere, within a few blocks, in the Five Boroughs and surrounding NJ areas. In Brooklyn, I could randomly walk in any direction and stumble upon a pizza place within 10 minutes walking distance TOPS. Never have I been disappointed, although varying degrees of good exist- some just "good" and others.... "holy $#!+, THAT'S PIZZA!". That said, Stevo's falls below my "good" threshold. Of the multitudes of pizza joints and thousands of slices I've enjoyed in both NYC and NJ throughout the years, I can say that they would all top this place. No offense Stevo's. Your pizza isn't bad, but it kinda reminded me of Domino's- a bit bread-like in the crust (i.e. no air pockets) without the underside crisp one expects from a true NY slice. If you weren't touting your pie as NY style (check out the walls covered with NYC landmarks), I probably wouldn't be as disappointed as I have been. While Stevo's goal (or marketing ploy?) may be to create a NY style pie, it really does NOT come off as NYC style pizza. If you think it does, a bit more time in NYC sampling the pies all over the 5 Boroughs and surrounding areas may be calling. All in all, Stevo's is still worth a visit. It's a decent pie, better than most in Erie, but certainly not the best I have had here either (Steel 12 takes the trophy so far). I will however, give their wings 5 stars!!! Having sampled wings from these guys and Steel 12 (amongst a few others), I can say that these guys top the list in wing department.

Good greasy New York style pizza. Perfectly crispy and yet chewy at the same time. It's not too often you can find a place who still uses an old brick oven.

In town visiting and my sister ordered the pepperoni and the chicken ranch. Enjoyed both of them. Really liked the chunky marinara on the pepperoni pizza. The ranch sauce on the chicken pizza was good too The crust is awesome. Perfectly chewy.

I've had a lot their pizzas and they are all pretty good. But their deep dish pizza is amazing. I've gotten it tons of times and it is on par or better than places I've tried in Chicago.

I'd like to start of by saying I was very disappointed with this place. I really love pizza but I could not enjoy a single bit of this pizza. I ended up trying to feed the other half to my dog and he still chose to eat his own shit over this "pepperoni and mushroom pie" I have yet to find any pizza place in the erie area besides Brooklyn Pizza that doesn't have this same effect on him. All in all ,from now on I'm going to Brooklyn Pizza so my dog can actually enjoy it too. - bobby
