My boyfriend and I went north for spring break this year, and his family took us to Jr.'s Last Laugh. I'd never been to a comedy club before, so I didn't know what to expect. The place was actually really busy, and the waitress was quick to bring our drinks. (Thanks!) The opening act was superb! The second act was mehhh, and his jokes were more accessible to dinosaurs than 20-somethings. But alas, the first guy had us laughing and by the second half we were tipsy, thus more giggly. The biggest reason I'm giving Jr.'s a 5 is that when our group left, the manager (owner? maybe Jr. himself?!) was at the door saying goodbye to patrons. He was shaking hands, asking how our service was, really caring whether or not we had a good time. I was blown away!! (Service does count for something, even if Miami doesn't think so!) If I'm ever in Erie again, I'll stop by Jr.'s for sure.

Besides the fact that there is no other comedy club in Erie, this is an enjoyable place with very pleasant and accessible people running it (in fact, you will often see the owner mingling and talking with patrons). The comedy they bring is always clean enough to bring 13+, the drinks are decently priced, and the food is pretty good for a comedy club. Well worth getting some friends together and going if you are looking for something fun to do in Erie, PA.

Good food, service is a little slow on packed nights make sure you get there early and order if you wish to eat during a busy show. Also rather crammed seating but overall a nice place to watch some funny people.

I travel for work and have been to lots of clubs and this is by far one of the best run clubs in the country. Great staff, great food, great comics on the calendar ALL THE TIME. Defly a high quality club that rivals the Improvs and Funnybones of America. Greta food too!

I had a disappointing experience at another comedy club over the weekend, and it reminded me how good my experience was here. To be fair, this is a long overdue review that took place over the summer of 2013. If anything has changed, I am sorry to deceive you. My boyfriend had drove out from Chicago to visit me for the weekend and we had dinner at 1201 Kitchen (most DELICIOUS place in Erie!). Afterwards, we weren't quite sure what there was to do in Erie, so we walked over to the Jr's Last Laugh. To our surprise, the headliner was a comedian from Chicago. For some reason, I can't remember what his name was but he was hilarious as always. The show was $15 a head to get in and no drink minimum. 21+ only. The venue was very spacious. They had great pina coladas that I kept spitting out because I could not stop laughing. If I ever make my way back to Erie, I'll definitely have to visit this comedy club again.

My bf and I saw Caroline Rhea (from Sabrina the teenage witch fame) a few weeks ago and overall it was a good experience. They seem to get a lot of national acts here which is really cool for a small town comedy club. The absolute best part was it was so cold outside and it is literally around the corner from his place so walking in the freezing Erie temps was kept to a minimum. The club is very spacious and there are an ample amount of servers to handle the crowd. We ate and drank before hand so we did not partake in that aspect, however, I can say it's so nice to not have a 2 drink minimum, which I am accustomed to from any of the clubs I have been to in Pittsburgh, where I live. It's really easy for the comedien(ne) to interact with the crowd and Caroline did quite a lot. It seemed like mostly local patrons, which is what I would expect, although I think a few people might have been from Buffalo or near those parts. I enjoyed the show, I know my bf did too, and we will be back in the future for sure. If I eat or drink the next time I visit, I'll do an update on the service aspect of Jr's.

The staff at Jr's were very nice, and the service was speedy. The food was delicious, and the portion sizes were huge for the dinner entrees. We went to the 6:30 show on Friday, and it was only about half full. The comedians on were hilarious and well worth the $15 price tag. The only downfall we saw were the drink prices were pretty high for small cocktails. Even the refillable soda was $5.75. Overall, it was worth the money, and I would strongly advise going here for good Friday or Saturday entertainment.

I surprised my husband with an overnight out last year for our anniversary, and this is one of the places we went. They have a bar and buffet that looked really good, but we're vegetarian and there weren't a lot of veggie options so we came once the buffet was closing and ordered a couple appetizers and drinks. The appetizers were good and the drinks too. Plus, the comedian they had that night was really funny. It was a lot of fun. I would absolutely recommend this place. Call ahead though... shows sometimes sell out and some shows are adult only.
