We spent two nights at Kromer's while visiting friends. It's within walking distance of the Ephrata Cloister and about 1.5 miles from the Green Dragon Market (open only on Fridays and a must-go if you are in the area). This is a very small B&B; they only had two rooms for rent. The room was clean and well-appointed except that there were paper Dixie cups in the bathroom rather than a glass. The bedrooms are on the second floor, and there is also a small sitting room. The Kromers live downstairs. They love to chat and will join you for breakfast. There was a bowl of homemade cookies for the taking and they are flexible about when to serve breakfast and what it is. The experience is homey, not fancy. They have a small, well-behaved dog. One thing we found odd is that our room was not made up; we were okay with that, but it's never happened to us before. Kromers is a good place If you are looking for a stay that is more like a visit with friends than a night in a hotel
