Great local breakfast restaurant!! Fast, friendly service and good, cheap breakfast food. I come here at least once every time I'm in town. Bight's is just as good as the overcrowded Pancake Farm right next door. The breakfast sandwich is great! Definitely get a side of sausage. They were also very helpful with my 18 month old daughter who was hungry and impatient when we got there - they gave her crackers to munch on while we waited. :)

We ended up at this restaurant totally by accident. We were actually planning on going to the restaurant next door until we realized they didn't accept credit or debit thus we ended up here. Not having any expectations our first impression was unimpressive. The prices however were very low, much lower than anywhere else which was a pleasant surprise. I ordered the French toast and a side of bacon, my partner an egg and pancakes. Our meals came out fast and weren't fancy by any means. My French toast was of the Texas toast variety - thick and meaty but had no flavor whatsoever. Sugar and cinnamon could have gone a long way here. The bacon came out very undercooked and fatty - I immediately sent that back for a few more minutes on the grill. The second time it was served it was perfect! The bathroom is located outside the restaurant down a long cold hallway which I would have never found on my own. The ladies room was ice cold and although clean was in serious need of a remodel. Rusty baseboard, dated fixtures, and cold cinderblock walls - it was a bathroom I would expect at a flea market instead of a restaurant. Overall we filled our bellies for cheap but wouldn't come back.

You know you found a gem when you're surrounded by locals! The food is cheap, comes out fast, pretty good, decent portions, and amazing service.

I stop in from time to time for the fried chicken. The piece sizes are averaged size and usually defect-free. The past visit, I received a defective drumstick and it was quickly re-ordered. I give them credit for frying the chicken to order. The fries are good and plentiful. The side salads are above average and the salad dressings taste like made on the premise. Get there early if you want more than 1 choice of cake or pie,to finish off a wonderful meal.

Creepy. Food out of a can. When we walked in-everyone stared, & 3 waitresses stared at us as we looked through the menu. No-we're not weird looking : ) we were hoping to catch breakfast, but had just missed it. We ordered the uh-"famous" broasted chicken-was thoroughly disappointing. One of us ordered a burger-rubbery & gross. Sides are out of a can. The waitress kept talking abt how many minutes she had left until she was finished w/work. The whole experience: blecchh.

This is a small hometown restaurant that features broasted chicken. In the main room, the cash register is located in the middle behind the counter and you can hear everything going on, plus the takeout calls for chicken come in especially on weekends. There is another room if you want more privacy. It seems the locals come here a lot because we see the same man every Sunday lunch and he doesn't seem to care how loud he talks. Today I tried a club sandwich. It was very good! I tried the chicken corn noodle soup and cole slaw and these were super. I believe all soups and mac and potato salads, coleslaw are made fresh each morning by them. The chicken is good and many people place orders and come in to pick up. If you are in the area, I would definitely recommend to try.

My wife and I had dinner last night at your restaurant. The service was outstanding! The broasted chicken was the best we've ever eaten. The coleslaw was so fresh and tasty. Your homemade pumpkin pie was a fantastic end to our dinner. Thank you for doing such a great job!

I have gone to brights many times over the years-- every time I leave agitated!!! The food is great and most of the people (servers) are professional. Never fails there is ALWAYS 1 loud mouth obnoxious waitress that is loud and struts around like she is the center of the world- plus on her cell phone while working!! I will go back for take out-- but I am very hesitant to go and have a sit down dinner. The atmosphere is not what I call pleasant!! If the owner would be a little more professional about hiring his waitresses, it would be a lot more of a desirable place to sit down to eat. TAKE OUT ONLY!! (even then I was about to burst a bubble until I got out of there)

Go here, go here now!! This place doesn't look like much, as they probably haven't redecorated in 40 years, but who cares. The food here is amazing. They specialize in broasted chicken. It's like fried chicken but without the breading. I've never had chicken that had this much flavor and moisture. The sides are also great - the pepper cabbage is fresh and crispy, and the broasted potatoes are super yummy. Prices are great, especially if you get the nightly special. They have a full menu typical of the country-style cooking popular in the area.

The very best fried chicken ever. They broast it to order and it is just fabulous. On Sundays they run a special on their fried chicken.....yum. The service is pretty good....but sometimes they can misinterpret what you want and run your bill up...so make sure when you want a side of something....you tell them a side. I would comment on other food items...but I always order the chicken!
