Let me start off by saying that about two years ago, we stopped frequenting this place because the owner's son, who obviously felt he was some big shot in business, got really snarky with us because we politely called attention to the fact that we had been waiting quite some time for a refill on our drinks (we sat at the bar and ordered food there also). During that time that we waited, he gabbed with the patrons sitting next to us, served other people at the bar and those who walked up to the bar because they didn't get served at their tables. It was not that he was busy because he had loads of time to talk to other people and ignore paying customers. The snarkiness was the last straw. Well, last night we decided to give them another chance after two years so we stopped by. It was like we went into a time warp where nothing changed. The owner's son was not there but we waited over a half hour to get served and when we finally had to leave because we had to be somewhere, we needed to ask for the meal to go. I was admittedly angry that we gave it another chance and the waitress was then snarky when we asked for either the order to be cancelled if it was not started yet, or to take it to go if it was on its way out. I don't understand the business attitude these people have. I have to add that when we initially walked in, there was a very large group of young men waiting to be seated and after 45 minutes and on our way out, that same group of young men were still waiting to be seated. So unless you have unlimited patience, don't even bother going here. Or else if you want dinner, get there about noon and perhaps by dinner time you may get served.

I have a lot of fond memories of this place and their hysterically fun old time band, who I do not believe play any longer. I am not sure if all Charlie's nieces and nephews died, but it is no longer Uncle Charlie's - simply Charlie's Pub & Eatery. Their pizza is good - although not nearly as good as the nearby John's Wildwood - and their atmosphere is great for families. If you've eaten a lot of John's or are looking for a place to have a large get together, which you can't do at John's, then this is a solid choice for the Edinboro area.

The pizza here is OK - prices are great... They have an old school arcade, so some fun while you wait. Best part about this place is the old-timey band!!! They'll take requests off a big list. It's a "big band" style band, with old guys wearing Yankee Doodle costumes - it's a riot, and very kid-friendly!!

This place is kind of a hole in the wall type place. The pizza here is pretty good. The prices are very reasonable. The only thing I didn't like about the place is they did not have free refills on soda.

Nice place to go to if you are 21+ but have under-agers with you who can't go to the regular bars because it's more of a restaurant than a bar. This is a more family-oriented place with decent food---good pizza and nice specialty drinks. The atmosphere can get a pretty noisy on weekends with the arcade games dinging and the band playing...I get tired of having to yell at my friends.
