The hours of Flip are totally killing it for me. I haven't been to it in months because of this. Thankfully, La Grille opened down the block, and they stay open til a reasonable time every night, and on the weekends until 3 AM! So, until Flip changes their hours so people who aren't retirees can eat there, I'm dumping their review to 2 stars. Good food, but if you're not open to have people eating it, who cares?

Their food is delicious and it comes at a good price. My favorite is the margherita flip. The missing 1 star is because of their hours. I'm in class the whole time they're open, except before class, but I'm not usually hungry that early in the morning. I hope they'll realize their hours are setting them back a bit, but they are still my favorite restaurant in Edinboro... I just wish I could enjoy them more often,

I absolutely love coming to flip! Their food is delicious and they are extremely creative with their menu. The venue is chill and perfect for those looking to take a break from studying. Although the hours are a bit bizarre, they don't really have much other than a breakfast and lunch menu, they probably would't make much money off of a dinner crowd. This is by far the best place to eat in Edinboro. The service I have experienced has been a bit spotty, but most of the people I have encountered have been great.

Very over priced. Waited over an hour and a half because they were unorganized and lost our name on the waiting list. They food isn't that good, so I don't know what all the hype is about. Will never go back.

Best breakfast spot in Erie Co. Great menu and wonderful food all made in house. Loved the corned beef hash, chorizo smash, cinnamon flips and pancakes. Can't wait to come back.

I was very impressed! The Flip Cafe is truly wonderful, and has a good-sized menu for breakfast and lunch. Indulge your taste buds with a great variety of yummy dishes ranging from unique omelets to sugary french toast! Also, be sure to try some of the scrumptious homemade cupcakes!

This place is great! I had the chorizo slam with cinnamon flips. Everything was absolutely delicious! Next time I am back in Edinboro, I will definitely be back!

Cute little cafe in Edinboro. Stopped there on the way to see friends in NY. The flips are a specialty there. They are kind of like beignets. I wasn't in the mood for breakfast food at 11AMso I ordered the pulled pork sandwich which came on Texas toast. The sand which was really good and had a ton of pulled pork on it. They had a dessert case filled with cupcakes, cakes and pies, I wish I would have gotten one for the road but I was full by the time I was finished with lunch. I will be going back to try other stuff on the menu and definitely a cupcake or two or seven.

We really love this place and go there at least once a week. I just had the omlet with spicy sausage, cream cheese, and salsa. I wasn't sure what to expect but it was so good; I cleaned my whole plate and wanted more. The dish was really simple but so tasty. We also took some out-of-town friends there and they really enjoyed their meals. They liked their cinnamon flips. No one left anything on their plates.

The best restaurant in Edinboro. They really try to help people that are gluten free. Everyone is so helpful. They make great sandwiches with gluten free bread. I've heart that there deserts are fabulous. They make homemade pies and cupcakes. They don't make gf deserts. I can't recommend The Flip enough. The only downfall is that their hours are horrible.

We were blessed to live in Edinboro for a very short time due to my husband being active military and working with the University ROTC program....with that said Flip cafe was close by and my friend Katie took me there to try it out. Wonderful comfort food, amazing omelets my favorite was the greek omelet...with flip bread OMG I am lucky I did not get fat living there! Flip cafe staff are friendly and attentive.

I gave this place three shots. I used to live across the street from this diner (behind John's) and I thought "What a great idea to bring to little old Edinboro!". I first tried their pancakes, which were very dry and boring...( I could throw some bisquick together myself too...) A little over priced for such basic food. Second time around, I tried their french toast. I waited about 30 minutes for the french toast and when I got home to eat it, I noticed two slices were not flipped! This resulted in me biting down on one batter side and one cooked side... Rather than taking the french toast back, I threw it on my own frying pan and finished cooking it... LAST time, I tried their regular tossed salad. About as basic as it gets. I could have done better with a bag of ice burg lettuce and some Hidden Valley, myself. Not worth it. It's sad because this is such a great location! Poorly ran business... If this place lasts longer than 5 years, it would shock me. I think the alumni's and visitors keep this place in business though. I doubt they get repeat business or very many college students.

Breakfast is always good! Prices are reasonable and the specials are always fun to try! If you're feeling adventurous give the pulled pork and jalapeño omelette a try. The breads are all homemade as well. Most of the time we don't have room for dessert but we always take at least one piece of pie home. The apple, pb pie and coconut are my favorite. If there is a line be patient its worth the wait.

FANTASTIC food, and service with a smile. Everyone is very accommodating, and the prices are great! Original dishes, and the deserts are beautiful, fun, and delicious, as well. Their fries are my favorite fries ever! Crispy, but not too crunchy, golden brown, and to die for with ranch, BBQ sauce, or anything else you might pair them with.
