GREAT, thin pizza. They use the best ingredients it seems, and the pies are always cooked to perfection. They even sell frozen pies that bake up wonderfully in your oven. No kidding! It is a small place with few tables and it is self serve drinks from a cooler. Nothing fancy, but the prices stay low. Thank you, Bernies! This place is a hidden gem. Love you Bernies!!!

great pizza...great price. My Dallas friends always tell me about it so i picked up a couple of boxes on my way out to the Lake. Delicious, thin crust, the perfect amount of cheese, and the pizza bakers were very, very nice. highly recommended.

I am completely obliged to write a review for Bernie's - my brothers turned me onto Bernie's in high school, and I continue to drop in whenever I'm back in town... obviously, the pizza is banging....!! Let's get the negative out of the way so I can just be done with it - the seating and the location are not the best, you can easily drive right past it, and dining-is is not the best option.. eat in your car if you are so compelled, I sure as hell have. OK, that's done...phew. Bernie's sauce is absolutely amazing. It is some of the best sauce I have ever tasted on a pizza... and I am a die-hard, raging, pizza-freak... I live in Jersey, I'm constantly traveling throughout the NYC metropolitan region, therefore when I'm judging local pizza, I'm biased as hell. Allegedly, the secret to the sauce is something so unique and creative, the girls are going to take it to the grave. The pie is ultra-thin. The cheese + sauce ratio is PERFECTLY balanced. What does Bernie's do best? Minimalistic pies. Seriously. Don't go crazy on the toppings - if you are a toppings freak, then go somewhere else. This is not the place. Don't get me wrong, their pepperoni is bomb, but don't go nuts, the crust is just way too thin.. If you are a plain/one topping kind of person, this is the place. The flavors are so, so good, it would be a god damn shame to overshadow Bernie's simplistic perfection. The girls who work the counter have been working there for years and years, I believe they now solely run the family business. Show them some love - they really serve up a quality pie for dirt, dirt cheap when really...Grotto Pizza SUCKS and is ridiculously over-priced. So, yeah, give Bernie's a shot. If you are into thin, crispy, super flavorful pizza with some of the best sauce around, you will enjoy.

Bernie's Pizza has been a long time favorite for many of the locals. Not only are the prices cheap, the pizza is great. Don't come here if you are looking for anything fancy - the pizza is simple, as it is intended to be. That doesn't mean it isn't bursting with flavor, however. It is a family owned business (staff of mostly women, amazingly) and they never fail to disappoint. Pizza is thin crust, with an even sauce to cheese ratio. I will never turn my back on this place.
