I love Capriotti's. There aren't any near us here in Ohio, so when I saw this one near Philly I had to jump on it. The Italian is just so good and mouth watering. The tastiness is abundant in the Capicola, and Prosciuttini. Great dressing and delightful service.

I went to Capriotti's yesterday with my two cousins. We ordered a large Bobbi and a regular size cheesesteak and we were eating in. When our food arrived the order was reversed and we received a large Bobbi and small cheesesteak. We went over to the counter and told the guy behind the counter that the order was reversed. He turned and said "that is what you ordered". I had ordered my cheesesteak separate from my cousins so the order was given correctly. He would not back down and continued accusing us of giving him the incorrect order. All the while the food was sitting on the counter getting cold. He would not back down and the other 3 men working behind the counter would not even look up at us. I told him that I could not believe his behavior and that I manage people and would never allow them to treat a customer the way he was treating us. He replied "good for you". I asked him for his name and I asked to speak with the manager. He looked up at me with a smirk on his face and said "Nick and I am the manager". I asked for the phone number of the owner and he replied that he did not have it and I could go to the website and send an email. I was so shocked and taken back by this man's behavior and he never backed down from his accusatory accusations. I cannot believe that an owner of a well-established business would put up with this behavior from their employees. I took the Bobbi that one of the other employees made it but told him to reimburse me for the cheesesteak as Nick was cooking the cheesesteaks and I was afraid he would spit in my food. I hoped this may have been an isolated incident as I frequent Capriotti's in Glen Mills at least 1 to 2 times per month and never experienced service like this but when I read the reviews from YELP, I tend to believe that I may not be the first person that Nick has treated this way. In fact there are similar experiences noted below in the previous reviews. I think Nick certainly needs a course in management and people skills if he is indeed the manager. Although I live in Glen Mills, I will go to the West Chester Capriotti's in the future. I would strongly suggest that the owner the Glen Mills store look into this situation as I am not the first person that this has happened to and I don't think I will be the last. Nick is giving Capriotti's a bad name!!

The food here is great... However, just like everyone else that has posted, the service here is horrendous. The times I have been there the wait has not been long, but the employees seem to be generally displeased that you have walked into get something to eat. They are not helpful or friendly. Put a freaking smile on your face, its not that hard.

Although Capriotti's has a full menu of delicious sandwiches, I come here for one reason and one reason only - the Bobbie! Although Thanksgiving-style sandwiches have become as common as pumpkin pie in November, the Bobbie sets itself apart. It may not have been the first Thanksgiving-style sandwich, but it was the first one I ever saw. The Bobbie has four things that make it special: 1) A good, chewy yet crusty roll 2) Turkey - not your run of the mill, deli sliced lunch meat but real honest to goodness roasted turkey that is shredded up in a delicious combination of both white meat AND dark meat. The turkey is cooked well enough that it will remind you of those sandwiches that you eat around midnight on Thanksgiving night. 3) Cranberry - not just canned jellied cranberry sauce, but a cranberry sauce with real berries in it that has that perfect blend of bitter and sweet. 4) Stuffing - I am gonna be honest with you and tell ya that the stuffing is the weakest part of the sandwich. Of course, the stuffing is not supposed to carry the sandwich - it is moist enough and in the right proportion that you just don't really notice it. The Bobbie - as it is shown on the menu - comes with mayo, but I always have them hold the mayo and you should too. It is just not necessary and I think actually detracts from the sandwich. This location is a little tough to get into. Follow signs for the Acme and then go around the corner. Stop at the front corner of the counter and order your sandwich and then head down to the end of the counter to pay at the register - you can just tell the register guy what your ordered. Service, speed, and décor was just average, but that was not what I came here for. Come to Capriotti's for a Bobbie - it is like Thanksgiving year round!

I came here with a friend yesterday and had a Capistrami, my first ever! It rocked. I met the owners, a great couple of guys. I hope we get a Capriotti's near where I live in San Jose, please, soon...

It was a fine sandwich, not spectacular. The service was fine. I don't like buying drinks by the bottle, it's a ripoff and no refills. The manager seemed a little cold and off putting, but she looks nice.

I love Capriotti's!!! I was raised in Wilmington, DE and live in NYC now. Even with all the great sandwich spots in NYC this is my all time favorite spot for a hoagie! Almost everytime I am in town visiting family I find my way to one of the Capriotti sandwich shops. They use real chunks of turkey (not deli meat) and everything is fresh. I would also suggest putting in your orders by 6:00pm because I have called closer to 7pm and they have been out of rolls (though that is normally for the location on Silverside Road). My favorite sandwich is the Bobbie (turkey, cranberry sauce, and stuffing). Its basically thanksgiving on a roll and its DELICIOUS! I also like the cole turkey (turkey and cole slaw) and the capastrami (pastrami, swiss, cole slaw and russian dressing).

Maybe it's me, but the service at this place is so unfriendly and inattentive that I go to a different capriottis to get hoagies, even though this one is on my way and the other isn't. The three times I have gone to this shop, the people have acted like they resented me for just walking into the place. It's really weird. Two of those times the person taking the order (two different people) seemed either distracted or indifferent. The last time they got my order wrong, and then they blamed me for it. I'm never going back.

Like some others, I have to say that customer service is lacking at this place. We stopped in on a rainy day in the middle of the afternoon and were the only ones in the place. Even with about 5 employees playing around in the back, the tables weren't clean and the floor was in dyre need of a sweeping. That being said, the sandwich I got was pretty good. It was the Tuna & Cheese sandwich. The roll was nice, fresh and crispy and the tuna was really good and simple. Overall, the food was decent but the staff need some training or better management.

Yup, 5 stars. Not sure why so many bad reviews, but this place is awesome. Very friendly employees, fresh ingredients, great prices- what else could you ask for in a sandwich shop. I only wish I lived closer! I would surely recommend this place!

For some reason, this instance of Capriotti's is very cheap about what they put on your roll, but both of the other shops I've been to pack it on. So much for chain brand consistency. For what you pay for a sandwich at this place, they are very cheap and give weak portions. Mostly I had a good tasting roll for lunch with a very limited amount of turkey on it. My entire company regularly buys lunch from these guys and today it was a real disappointment. We likely won't spend any money there again. May be the individual who made the sandwiches, but my coworkers tell me this is a trend and they are really cutting corners at this place. Too bad, it's a franchise and this one store gives the others a bad rap, because the other one in Springfield, PA does much better on portions. Taste of the food and selection is very good, but there are alot of other better choices for the money. If you go there, and your hungry, prepare to be disappointed.

HORRIBLE customer service at the Glen Mills, PA location. The employees who work there need major training on how to be helpful, informative, and friendly. Besides that, the FOOD is WONDERFUL!
