My wife and I were looking for a good pizza place and we went on yelp and we found Mable's pizza and I have to say it was very delicious. We had the bell peppers and onions large pizza and the pieces are square with 16 slices. So if you ever staying at one of the hotel's in clearfield Pennsylvania I would definitely take a ride over to this little pizza place and pick up a pizza and bring it back to your hotel it's worth the trip. Momma mia delicious pizza!! In town for a long weekend and I've been in the hunt for good food and in that process you always have to give pizza a go. This place is exactly how I imagine a pizza joint in my head. Pick-up only, simple operation and they get away with it because their pizza is fantastic. From the crust which is perfect, a little crunch here and there and just soft enough where it needs to be, the sauce I could eat on a bowl of pasta, to the toppings that we got (pepperoni and mild pepper rings) which were full of flavor. Reminds me of a pizza joint near where I grew up run by 3 wonderful Italian women, which was possibly the case at this spot but I don't know! Do your stomach and taste buds a favor and order a pie from here, you won't be disappointed!!

Love, love, love this pizza. Quite unique and I try to get it every time my wife and I are in town. Mild pepper rings and sausage are my personal favorite toppings.

Hidden on the back street, but delicious! No place to sit down, or a bathroom, more of a take-out location. Ate it in the car, and loved it. A bit of that Scranton PA pizza style, with a good sauce.

My son and I were visiting Clearfield County and found Mable's reviewed on Yelp. So we tried it. It was good square cut pizza and priced right. It was good tasting and staff was friendly. It is take out only. For those of you who love Mable's and square cut pizza, let me suggest, either Claysburg Pizza in Claysburg, PA and/or Best Way Pizza in Altoona/Blair county. Either of these are equally or better square cut pizza, but of course further away for the local Clearfield residents. My son found the sauce at Mable's a little sweet while I found it slightly sour but good. The crust is a nice mix of chewy and slightly crunchy though I prefer less crunchy, but overall this is a diamond in the rough (and the rough is the over-hyped Denny's Beer Barrel Pub at the other end of the street - see my review there and don't believe the hype).

My favorite pizza in town and is a local tradition in Clearfield for as long as I can remember. It's take out only, well worth driving and picking it up.

I luuuurve this pizza. Anytime I come back to the "Field" I have to get Mabel's. They do not deliver. They do sell by the slice... Which is so awesome. I called ahead and my order was ready ahead of schedule. I'm not entirely sure what it is that makes me so crazy about it... Maybe it's the light, airy dough. Maybe it's the lightly sauced, heavily cheesed goodness of it. Maybe it's the weirdly, undercooked pepperoni. Who knows. All I know is that it's amazing and I'm taking a bag of frozen Mabel's with me to Washington. If you are in the "'Field" get you some Mabel's... It's amazeballs.

Don't judge a book by its cover. This tiny take out joint in a residential area serves phenomenal pizza. The crust was amazing, and cooked to perfection...crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. A nice change of pace from dime a dozen pizzerias. I was just in town for the night and couldn't ignore the Yelp reviews of this place. Definitely give it a try!
