They have great pizza. Ive been here with a 3 top and with large parties and been treated the same on all occasions. Great staff...good priced beer...awesome pizza. Basically the restaurant trifecta.

Not good. Service was subpar and the food followed suit. Only pizza joint in town, but I'm not looking back. No thank you.

Complacency has clearly set in here as they must feel they are the only game in Clarks Summit. The owners had something good they'd could make great but instead they are demonstrating they don't really cRe about their customers. We have hand bad service and waits before, but tonight was ridiculous. We were a party of four and the calzone came out first and was eaten before the chicken parmigiana dinner came out. Next the chicken parmigiana dinner (which was better than average) was eaten before the apps came out (pierogies blah, homemade mozzarella sticks very good) and finally the chicken parmigiana sandwich came out (all cheese & bread, almost no chicken). Kitchen staff failed and service did nothing to make up for it. All I can think is we will never eat here again.

I went here earlier today and ordered a tomato square pizza for pick up. Very friendly staff, efficient. I was very hungry and glad to see that my pizza was ready as soon as I got there. Will definitely go again!

Maybe we stopped here on an off day but we had problems from start to finish. We are willing to accept a certain level of mix ups (wrong beer, appetizer order never placed, waiting for the check) but I draw the line at the quality of product. The kicker for us was our "fresh tomato" pizza which I am convinced was made with velveta cheese (I cringe just writing that considering we are talking about an Italian restaurant). By the time we were served our subpar pizza we were too tired to even raise the issue. 2 stars because the couple we were with order a traditional pizza which was good and could thankfully feed us. Overall: skip the dine-in and avoid the square pizza.

Food was average. Service...very poor. There are many places to eat in NEPA with much better food and service. Would never return or recommend to a friend to try.

We'd been boycotting Armettas for a year to see if things would improve. Nope. The owner, Lisa, still unfriendly, no smile, takes long-standing customrs return visits for granted. When she detechts eye contact, she turns away. I'm not sure how she will survive in her new place with this holyer-than-thou attitude. She can be wonderful at times, but not lately; food is still good, but service substandard. If she is not on the premises, I'd suggest leaving. Lisa, we enjoyed your restaurant for the past 20+ years, but we're done, we're gone. Good luck to you in your newest venture. We want Sal!

The round thin crust was outstanding. Mushroom pizza and sausage and pepper pizza were excellent. The salads Italian and balsamic were very good. Service was top notch . San Diego pizza cannot compare!

Not a fan. Moved near here from out of state. I wish I did like it due to convenience. People are rude. Pizza was okay at best. Gave them a second chance. Same story again. Hence the review.

Good pizza, wings were ok. Very good selection of beer. Nice setting and atmosphere. Parking is usually a problem on busy nights. Haven't tried any other dishes besides pizza and wings but they looked very good as they passed by.

Top notch pizzeria! Very good thin crusted pizza! The sauce and cheese are very tasty! They have an extensive selection of beers and offer six-packs and cases to go. Highly recommended!

Best pizza in Lackawanna county. My favorite is tomato basil but they also have a good chicken wing pizza.

Great local pizza place! The best pizza in the Summit. The chicken wing pizza is the best by far.

Very good pizza and a large beer selection of six packs to go. Garlic bread is nice too, and their large Stromboli is stuffed with lots of meat and cheese. However I'm not crazy about their chicken or veal parmigiana heroes, they seem to always be overdone and dried out, their Italian cold cut hero is a better sandwich choice IMHO.

Best pizza in town in my opinion. There Stromboli's are very good as well. We have tried the garlic bread as well, although I have had better, the pizza and quality of service leaves me still giving it 5 stars.

We ordered out from Armetta's a few months ago. We were disappointed when we arrived home and found mozzarella sticks that were burned, empty husks. However, since the pizza was "good for the area," we decided to visit in-person to render a final judgement. Foremost, the service was excruciating. It took an eternity for us to submit our drink order. And, at some point, we truly believed that we would have to ASK for the check ... AND, after seven minutes of waiting for the server to pick-up the folio, I walked it to the take-out register. And, the food? We had high-hopes for the appetizers. It's pretty difficult to mess up standard Italian fare. Nonetheless, the garlic bread with cheese was soggy and the mozzarella sticks were dripping in old grease (see picture). When my salad arrived, the server was oblivious to the fact that there were shredded carrots stuck ALL OVER the outside of the bowl ... presentation matters. The entrees: the penne alla vodka was room temperature when it arrived and yet (somehow) still runny. The bitter taste seems indicative of poor quality vodka. The chef would be wise to try a better vodka, more parm/romano, red pepper-flakes sauteed with the garlic, some cracked pepper over the top with a sprinkle of shredded parm/romano as a final touch. Nothing about this translated as penne alla vodka ... especially the huge lettuce leaves (??!). Rule one of contemporary cooking: never put something on a plate for decoration. It's not the 1980s (and people resent you for wasting food). OHHH, and the biggest infraction: mushy pasta. To be truly pleasing, pasta should be al dente. After three attempts to poke around this plate, I was done. Now, my boyfriend had the burger and fries. This was the first time he said a burger was an "F." The outside was a hard, dry shell of beef. I've never seen anything like it. The bun was a cheap, floppy Sunbeam type "thing" (like those ten for $1.00 ones) and the tomato was PINK (that was quickly removed). The atmosphere was nice but the temperature was a bit chilly. (The dining room seems to be some sort of sun-porch addition?) The vaulted ceiling were nice but appeared to contribute to the extraordinary din. (There were only four other groups there but it sounded like fifty!) For a hearty meal, skip Armettas. However, for a take-out pizza, it may be worth a try.
