Good food at a decent price. The staff have been nice to me.

OK so I've been in chalfont for most of my life and ninos (what it used to be called) and spatolas (what it is now and has been for awhile) was pretty much the only place in town for pizza. Well I must say I haven't been too pleased with the quality of their food for a little over a year now at this point. Their pizza is very blah, not much flavor, their cheesesteaks are fatty, meat doesn't fill the roll. I also had a tuna hoagie from there recently that was by far the worst tuna I have ever had. I never thought Id say this but I would have rather gone to subway! The only thing that saves me from giving it a 2 or a 1 star rating is their cesar salad. I have been getting a chicken cesar salad from their lately, the lettuce has always been very fresh although it is tremendously overpriced. I've never really ate there to comment on the atmosphere, but most of the people seem very cold and be careful if your an attractive girl, my girlfriend was stared at by the 5 guys working there the entire time we were in there, awkward!

Delicious pizza, AWESOME calzones! They usually have coupons in the menu too, which is a bonus... I have, on more than one occasion, gotten there after I called an order for pick up and it hasn't been made. They turned it around FAST though. Easily the best pizza in the area.

Never had a problem with a quick slice from Spatola's years ago. Not a wholt lot of choices around here - but there are better (and worse) places to grab some garlic knots and a slice or two. No issues from me.

Has been there forever. Pizza is never reliably good. When it's good, it's delicious. When it's not so good, it's terrible. Usually greasy. Normally I don't blot my pizza with napkins but I always have to when I get spatolas. Good if your only dropping in for a slice and some garlic knots.

I've been getting food here for nearly 10 years. The owner is always busting his ass in there along with all his employees. I've never once seen him *not* smiling, and it can get very busy, but they are ALWAYS on point with their orders and quality of food. I've tried other pizza places in the area, new ones pop up now and then but I always regret not getting Spatola's. Their wings are really fantastic and crispy. They put the hot sauce on the side so that they don't get soggy and its DELICIOUS. I order out with my girlfriend at least once a month and she loves it too. Best cheesesteaks in town, pretty much everything they serve up is great. Make it a point to get take out from them soon, you won't regret it!!!

There are many better options in the area. The service has always been sub par, the pizza tastes like cardboard and the prices have increased steadily over the past year or so. We've had issues recently of them messing up our order completely such as giving us a round pizza after ordering Sicilian or putting ingredients on hoagies that either we didn't ask for or weren't even part of the actual hoagie. The cashier girls, who, on average, seem to work there for a week or two at the most, are rude and incompetent at taking even the most simplest of orders. There are so many better options that are close. Randazzos, Pasta Mista, Daniels, Dominic's, etc. Go elsewhere.

Stopped in here yesterday for a couple slices, for the first time. This is the last pizza joint in Chalfont we have yet to try. Whenever we drive by, there is always a decent amount of cars in the parking lot and there is always a cop here, so I think this is the borough's go to pizza joint. I had placed my order and realized I forgot my wallet! The very nice girl behind the counter said "no problem" and said I could pay next time and still served me my food. Very trusting person and after I ate, I ran home and came back to pay. I thought that was a very cool thing to do and to keep the sale rather than turn me away. The pizza was good, thin, crispy crust and good cheese/sauce ratio. The flavor was really good on everything. I will want to come back to try again and maybe a cheesesteak too since I typically try pizza and steaks at every pizza joint in town.

Good pizza but customer service is rude and unprofessional . The sitting space is really uncomfortable - they tried to squeeze as many tables as they could in that small space - which means your bench is so close to your table that you might have to hold your breath to sit down ...

Updating : Quality has stabilized when you go at a time where the A-Team is on. Their fries are delicious... but I digress. Their counter staff (high school girls, paid under the table) are less than enthusiastic however deal with quite a bit in regard to their place of employment. Service is prompt. Women, expect leering. If you understand spanish? Well, you'll either be extremely flattered (if you're into that kinda cat-calling, sexualized pizza experience ) or very uncomfortable (if fall into the latte). I won't go in here, if I can avoid it. . I send my boyfriend, or anyone willing to cross the threshold of pizza perversion..also, I recommend that if you do enter, you stick to a modest attire. .something from 19 kids and counting would be ok, with only your wrists and ankles showing ( you saucey devil, you)..channel your inner puritan and you may have hope of leaving with a shred of dignity.. I'll be dammed if their garlic knots don't make this a conundrum though...

Have been to this Spatola's several times and I can recommend their cheese steaks which are served on the best rolls ever. When it comes to their Italian hoagie (I got the 12" because I was sharing it), I was very disappointed. There was very little lettuce and tomato and no oregano or hot peppers. I asked for an Italian hoagie with everything on it. So the uptake on my visits: get a cheese steak...yes sir. Forget the hoagies go somewhere else.

Spatola's used to be my family's go-to pizza place back in the early 2000's. Recently, I've been able to satisfy my pizza cravings elsewhere. Here's why: PRICES: Everything seems a tad overpriced to me. Although I understand that it can be expensive to make pizza in the most authentic way possible (believe me, I've tried), the prices are way more competitive at other local pizza shops. QUALITY: The food quality has decreased. I remember Spat's being the only place you could get a good pizza pie and it not be your typical big greasy slop of mess pizza. Now you order from here and risk paying money for a burnt pizza, which has happened to me on the few occasions I've returned. A big turn off for me is burnt crust. Yuck. The pizza doesn't do anything for me anymore. STAFF: The ladies are very nice. I've never experienced rude or "incompetent" (sheesh, harsh much?) service from them. The staff part about Spatola's that really freaks me out is the men in the back who hit on the lady customers. A guy once looked at my aunt like she was a piece of meat, and he was really obvious about it. Makes me sort of lose my appetite. DELIVERY: There is none. The saving grace for this place is the delicious Italian hoagie I've had on numerous occasions. Unfortunately, though, it's not enough to bump my rating up to 3 stars, seeing as its the only thing I find appetizing on the menu anymore.

I used to come here on early dismissal days in high school and always enjoyed the pizza, but then I somehow forgot about it. We ordered takeout from here last night a this just may be our new go-to pizza place. We got a large pizza - half plain, half mushroom and onion- and a medium cheesesteak calzone with peppers and onions. Both were delicious. Thin, floppy pizza with great flavor. The cheese had a tendency to fall off the mush/onion half of the pizza though. Id definitely recommend this place

The pepperoni pizza tasted ok. It looked really delicious though (no burnt bottom). And my brother got a BBQ chicken wings sub... I dunno exactly what it was but I tried it and the spices started choking me as I inhaled... I imagine their Philly cheesesskes would be great. Overall, I think this is a 3 star place. And I'm not sure if this was because of the food, but I had an upset stomach afterwards... Maybe the food wasn't thoroughly cooked? Not sure.... Pros - They have plenty of parking. - Plenty of seating indoors and outdoors. - cheap food Cons - The employees didnt look happy to be there. - food was mediocre

I went in to have pizza with my husband who had eaten at Spatolas before. We were there about a month ago for lunch and the pizza was great so today my kids wanted to pick up something to eat on our way home after school and so I said let's stop at Spatolas their pizza is delicious. Both my kids had never eaten there so they took a few minutes to look at the menu from the counter since they weren't busy. The girl at the counter was not very nice when she gave me my total of $23.00 I didn't questioned it even dough I only ordered 2 slices, 2 canolis, a 2 liter soda and a cheese steak, but anyway so she took my credit card and swiped it asked me if I wanted a receipt and as I said no she walked away, RUDE. I said to myself " I'm just here to feed the kids something quick" as I was sitting eating I noticed that she was texting from her cell, answering the pizzeria phone, ringing people up etc. and then she approached a pie that was sitting behind the counter and started pocking the bubbles on the pie with her bare fingers. GROSS. Then she went and answered the phone and yelled out STOP, DON'T MAKE IT to the boss, so he asked why and she said this person was retarded and asked if we could deliver it but didn't give me an address. They don't even deliver anyway. DEFINITELY NO NEED FOR THAT. So on our way out I asked for the canolis that they charged me for and had forgotten to make. She did apoligize for forgetting but as she's making them bare handed again she reaches into a can of cherries bare handed again and pulls 4 out to top my canolis. She them approached us with the canolis on a plate and said here's your canolis handed them to us and walked away. ON A PLATE? WE'RE ON OUR WAY OUT. We were there less then 30 minutes and this is what I saw. I would have said something if I thought it would have made a difference but apparently she seems to be related because she wouldn't be working at any restaurants with these skills. So much for going back, but I'm glad I saw and heard it. Oh yeah about those canolis, they went straight to the garbage. Never a thank you, come again or you're welcome. Terrible customer service and food is priced to high. WILL NOT VISIT AGAIN.

My sisters favorite pizza. Very good crust. Sauce was a little sweet for this pizza to be my favorite pizza but it is a solid pizza joint. My nephew got a cheesesteak and fries. He said the sandwich was good and I can attest that the fries were very good.

Good food, pizza, and cheesesteaks. The atmosphere is a little less than appealing, but it is a great place for take-out.

Best pizza in the area. Take out only, no delivery. Worth going to get it tho.
