I have been coming here for 15 years and have NEVER had a bad experience! I used to come here on lunch break in high school with friends and get a few slices. And I've also had their finer dishes. Some favorites are the Sicilian pizza, chicken escarole soup, spinach ricotta pizza, and chicken and broccoli. Yum!

It's been a while since I wrote one of these, but after this experience I just needed to. This place is a classic case of good food overshadowed by POOR service. After eating at this restaurant it reminded me that good food has to be matched with great serve for the overall 5-STAR rating. The server was a horrible communicator. You would think that being in the service industry that you would have high marks in the communicating field to yield good tips. This lady (I will keep it anonymous) was loud, a terrible listener and had complete disregard to her restaurant attendees. I was with a party of 10+ people coming from a long road trip from DC. We were seated rather quickly and so began the worse dining experience in my life. As she took my order I asked her if I could add anything on to the Veggie Pizza... she replied, "You could order and add whatever you want." I said, "Great! I'll add the sausage to the Veggie Pizza." 20-30 minutes later out comes this Sausage/Cheese Pizza. I was irritated and asked, "What happen to the veggies?" She replied, "You ordered Sausage Pizza... I could grill some veggies and you could sprinkle the veggie topping to the pizza." Already irritated I just said forget it and internally I said I will take out my frustration out on Yelp. When my buddy ordered she ordered a "Gourmet Style" pizza. The server stated absolutely and asked, "What size?" My buddy said,"Well I want it by the slice (I know unrealistic... who makes a whole pie for two slices of pizza?)" She then replies, "O we can't make a Gourmet Pizza by the slice, but you'll like it and you can take the rest with you to-go." What I don't understand is why didn't she provide a list of pizzas that are by the slice vs. only giving the guest the option of ordering a WHOLE pizza? My buddy ended up ordering the a large pizza and ate 2 slices and threw away the rest of it on the way back home. The last thing that went wrong was that she did not ask while we were being seated if the bill was going to be in seperate checks. When the bill came she said she was unable to divide the check.. and if we had issues with it we could speak to management. I'm certain everyone knows that dividing the bill with a party of 10+ people could be excruciating. If you have never experienced it believe me it sucks!!!! This review is really sad because the food was good... I mean if the service matched the food I would have given this restaraunt a solid 3 stars. It's been 4 days since I went there I'm still fuming about it. So future pizza eaters PROCEED with caution.... A loud mouth, horrible listener female server is on the horizon. OVERALL RATING 1 STAR.

First time there - very pleasantly surprised. Great service. Husband had lasagna special - very tasty, came with soup or salad. Daughter had gnocci and soup. I had buffalo chicken cheese steak. A large bone fragment in my meat was not enough for me to dislike the whole experience (plus not their fault anyway). Will return.
