The best New York , Jersey, Jersey Boardwalk Style pizza in the Bethlehem, Nazareth area! Their dinners and garlic knots are authentic Italian and which makes all the difference when your choosing a Italian restaurant. Joe the owner is ITALIAN, and to me is important when looking for that authentic taste with dinner or pizza! Let's talk pizza, the crust is thin and crispy, not doughy and thick . Sauce is not sweet , just the way it should be! And how could you not love Joe who greets you every time and treats you like family! If your a pizza connoisseur, then Sorellas is the place you should be eating your next pizza at!

As a 17 year old I look for places with large portions of good food without a big price tag, and Sorellas is one of those places. Me and my friends consistently come here to pig out on their succulent cheesesteaks, phenomenal pizza, or the chicken ceaser salad of your dreams. The food is always prepared fantastically and the service is unparalleled. I strongly recommend Sorellas, and will guarantee that any selection on their extensive menu will exceed your expectations and leave you a satisfied customer.

Excellent pizza....thin and tasty and does not suffer from over salting. Spiced just right!

This is my first time ever writing a review and it is definitely needed based on our experience tonight! We have gotten pizza and subs from here before, which were pretty good, so we decided to dine in for dinner. The first thing I always do when we go to a restaurant is take my 4 year old to the bathroom to wash our hands. The bathroom was a single smelly broken bathroom that had no soap. My daughter told the waitress there was no soap and she said "I have to buy more." I thought that was strange. Shouldn't you have a backup soap? The tables were dirty and the menus were crumpled. So, then we ordered. We ordered the sampler, I got shrimp scampi, my husband got veal, and my daughter got a slice of pizza. The sampler was huge, all fried foods, can't really go wrong there. My shrimp scampi, however, was so overbearingly salty that I could not eat it. My husband's veal was like rubber and it was covered with this goop-like sauce that was not appetizing. We usually do not complain, but had to tell the waitress. We couldn't force ourselves to eat it, let alone pay $14.99 for each! So, after our uncomfortable confrontation, my daughter had to pee. We went back to the bathroom and there was a man coming out of the ladies room, the toilet seat was up, and no toilet paper left. We were so disgusted! My husband was throwing away our baby wipes that we used to "wash" our hands and the garbage was so full it was almost over flowing. We left feeling so disappointed and quite frankly sick to our stomachs! Be careful what you order from here and do not dine in!

This review is solely on their pizza. While not bad, it certainly is not true NY style pizza and most certainly not 5 star worth. If you specify very thin and well done, that helps. They appear to use whole milk mozzarella so the pies are generally very greasy needing a good wipe down with a napkin to look appetizing. I will likely have their pizza again, but mostly because of convenience and proximity to friends houses.

Meatballs were probably frozen. They were the tiny ones Veal parmigiana was over cooked. Got over cooked penne, but requested spaghetti. Horrible.

My family and I have been going to Sorellas for years, and although we will try other places from time to time, we keep coming back. We only ever order their pizza when we go, and we absolutely love it. The crispy crust seems to be loved by all. On top of the amazing pizza, the owner and his employees are always incredibly friendly. Seriously, do your tastebuds a favor and check it out.

This place is dismissal anymore. They clearly don't care about cleaning the store. The food is terrible also. Put them together and well... don't waste your money.

Homestyle simple food is prepared freshly here. I ate here about a half-dozen times and have not been let down. I have not tried the pizza that has been reviewed here. Food that I have tried include: Baked pasta (my favorite); penne pasta in bolognese sauce; cheese ravioli; and spaghetti. Every time, the meal was served with fresh baked white bread. There aren't any fancy spices on the pasta or bread, just perfectly prepared dishes. The service is sometimes choppy, especially when there are few people in the restaurant. I believe this is because there is less motivation to get out from behind the bar. There was one occasion when the check was incorrect and one time when an item I wanted was not available. The later is ok because it proved that it was being freshly prepared. Prices are excellent value for the food. I will be back again.

Love this place -- doesnt seem like it would be good because of its location in the Kmart shopping center but finally gave them a try last week and again this week -- Great chick parm dinner - and pizza is very good ... I prefer the onions/peppers toppings rather than just plain cheese... local - small business italian place - clean on the inside and the owner is a REAL italian with an accent - so thats a good sign.. Great red sauce - a little bit on the sweeter side - check them out - try them out ... Support your small businesses NOT the chains :)

Went to Sorella's for lunch with my family who was in town visiting. This is my favorite NY style pizza in the valley. We've had Martellucci's, Taste of Italy and Penn Pizza. Sorella's has the best crust and toppings by far.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
