One star for the two sandwiches and meatball parm appetizer. I had their pizza ironing previous visits and it is very good. First, the sauce and cheese on the meatball parm appetizer (not sandwich) was very good. It was the only thing worth it. The meatballs were not home made and had that spongy cafeteria texture some of us love but basically make for disgusting meatballs. I had the Italian club sandwich and it was just plain tasteless. Look, when tomatoes are out of season you need to salt them or put pickles in the sandwich. Ham, capicola and salami were sliced thick and all three tasted like baloney. No kidding. Three meats that could have rocked but tasted so bland you could not tell them apart. Over cooked bacon and limp iceberg lettuce rounded out this lousy sandwich. No mayo either. Bread was toasted nicely. Someone took care to assemble the sandwich but had no clue as to how ordinary the ingredients were. My wife had the BLT and you can guess how that was. Lousy too. I called the restaurant and talked to the manager or owner and he seemed to want to do better. May try again someday.

Honestly the food was good. However I ordered the family meal deal which was priced at $26 dollars for 1 large pie, 2 cheesesteaks, french fries, and a 2 liter of soda. Great deal right? Wrong! The delivery guy got here with a total of $38! We politely paid the driver and after re-reading the menu and doing some calucation we realized that they had charged us for each individual item. When we called the rudeness and unwillingness to help rectify the problem was out of this world. The customer is not always right at Marlo's.

Food was disgusting. Came late and cold. Called about replacing order and was talked very rude to

Fine pizza, especially if you're in the Main Street commons, but they don't have fountain soda

Solid pizza, solid delivery service. We ordered a few pies for a party and Marcos was recommended. The pizza arrived exactly on time (we preordered for a specific time). The pep pizza was on the greasy side, however very tasty. The other pies were just fine. The missed part of our order (we didn't catch the mistake THEY did) and returned with the balance and an apology.....NICE JOB. Give them a shot.

My guy and I were feeling a bit peckish and decided that we were both too lazy to get dinner, so we looked for a place that delivered. I checked on Yelp, of course, and found Marco's Pizza Express. I ordered the calamari and a pizza (pepperoni & mushroom) and it was here in 30 minutes! That's fast for dinner time delivery! Well, to me it was fast, I guess. In California, you'd be waiting about an hour for delivery after 5 pm. Anyway, the pizza was tasty, the calamari was crispy, but the hot sauce for the calamari tasted a bit too much like buffalo wing sauce. Otherwise, I was completely happy with the meal. I will definitely be ordering from Marco's again. The next time I'm feeling lazy, probably!

Similar to Shari's review, I too found this place on Yelp. Ordered me a medium cheese. I never order more than on the first time I order from a new place. I figure no matter how terrible it is, I can always stomach a plain cheese. Anywho, brought it back to the Holiday Inn-Express and did a fair number on it. The one issue is the sauce. It was just missing that...well, as Yelp Elites say, that certain je ne sais quoi! It just wasnt there. That being said, I would definitely frequent it again.

Great Pizza! First time in Bethlehem, and frankly we were lost (visiting Lehigh), and found Marco's by accident. Unassuming hole in the wall place, but will go back again if daughter gets into Lehigh. Crust was one of best ever. I had a slice of potato and onion and that was very tasty.

Well I had one of their meatball parmesan subs. The freakin' meatballs are SO YUMMY-DELICIOUS! Another time my hubby ordered sausage & linguine & I ordered the grilled chicken salad. I also ordered meatballs on the side. It was all delicious. & the portions were BIG. There was plenty of grilled chicken on my salad, big hunks of Italian sausage on my hubby's linguine, & the meatballs were devourably irresistible! Ugh, my poor tummy! Also try their Marco's Special sub as a grinder!

$6 medium pizza? Yes, please! For $6, you can't go wrong. They're competing for the quick-turnaround, Little Cesar's market with this special. L.C.'s $5 pizza is nasty. Marco's is fresh and delicious. And you don't feel guilty after letting your kids eat it. **One thing to note - you may have to ask specifically for this special. They've been running it for a while, and to my knowledge, have no plans of discontinuing it. But it's not on their regular menu. So ask for it.

Stopped in with the kids for a few quick slices. Excellent pizza.....thin crust, generous toppings. Will certainly try again.

This place has really good, big subs but the steaks are just okay. Had pasta with chicken one time for lunch and that was good too.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
