Purposely writing this review to counteract some of the negatives. I simply can't believe that anyone thinks the food here is tasteless. This is my go-to place when I want to feel at home and have tasty comfort food. The service is extraordinary (especially if you get Renaldo!) and the food is consistently good and nicely priced. Someone said their veal parmigiana was not good, but I MUST disagree. You get a LOT of veal (usually two meals worth) and it's super tasty.... one of my favorite choices. I have yet to have a bad meal there and we go every couple of weeks. Don't listen to the naysayers. Give it a try. I doubt you'll be disappointed. The only thing I would like to see change is a better array of wines by the glass.

We held a party for our daughter's baptism here for 40 people. The staff was friendly and attentive. They even let us set up a kids table with activities. The Penne Alla Vodka and Chicken Francese were excellent. We had several family members out from New York who also agreed that the food was great. Overall it was a great experience and I highly recommend Anna Bella's.

Came here for two work dinners in large groups and this family owned restaurant was so accommodating. We had buffet style but food was impressive for being buffet: salmon, veal, chicken, pasta, garlic knots, salad. Service was great - so friendly and happy people! We had open bar with great drink selections.

Decent food & good service. A solid three star restaurant. A group of 10 of us dined here so we had a reservation. We were promptly seated & drinks were ordered. Throughout the evening there was a variety of food items shared. We started off with the mozzarella sticks, calamari, bruschetta, and the caprese. The bruschetta & calamari was spot on .. They were absolutely delicious, so much so that I was actually a bit disappointed that the bruschetta had to be shared. The sauce that came with the calamari made each bite better that one before. The caprese & mozzarella sticks were just alright, a bit disappointing compared to the other two. Moving on to the main course, there were a variety of dishes ordered. I selected the Lobster Ravioli. It's a bummer that I forgot to take a picture but the ravioli had a zebra stripe look & the sauce was thick & chunky. It was a little bit too heavy. I got to snag a taste of the Crab Ravioli & immediately regretted not getting that. The gorgonzola sauce was not overpowering like I thought it would be but actually complimented the crab filling. Everyone else enjoyed their dish- veal ravioli, potato gnocchi, clam pasta, etc. We rounded out the evening with some desserts - Tiramisu & cannolis all around. Everyone enjoyed those. Overall, things were good. I wasn't too highly impressed by some of the appetizers & my main course. For the price, it wouldn't be on the top of the recommendation list.

I've gone here numerous times, and have always had a good experience. The food: The calamari is nice and light. The pizza comes out lightening-fast and delicious. I like to get the pizza "to go" as it's the best pizza around. I had one artisan pizza that was uncharacteristically wet in the middle, but that was one experience among many excellent ones. And the rest of the food more than made up for it that night. The service: The wait staff has always been very warm and friendly to me. I read one review which cast a picture of a bunch of men who like to bicker and gay-bash, but the men and women that have served me were very pleasant. And I highly doubt such derogatory remarks are still being made nowadays. Let's just say I have good reason to have this supposition. The place is nice enough that I would feel awkward going in a t-shirt, but just right in a polo. I would recommend this place if you're looking for some excellent pizza, friendly service, and solid Italian standards.

The food is great there but it is a little too over priced for my taste. My family used to be regulars there when the food was a little cheaper but they decided to up the prices. I honestly wonder how they stay in business considering every time I drive past the parking lot is empty. I can't imagine them making ends meet easily. If you want to pay 17 dollars for a good meal go for it but there are much better restaurants that I would be willing to spend that much in.

A place that makes the perfect red sauce. The pasta frijole was to die for. Actually just like mine. :) We checked it out because we had a gift certificate from restaurants.com . We will go there again. Very comfortable atmosphere and warm staff. Good portions and even brought home dinner for tonight. Salute to the chef!

so far so good, I'm actually writing this as I am seated we first had the mozzarella Annabella app and it was very flavorful. then garlic knots and my salad came out, awesome awesome awesome. the house dressing is great. entrees came, my boyfriend got the manicotti in vodka sauce and said the ricatto cheese is so fresh and the vodka sauce is also good, and he's picky when it comes to vodka sauce. I had the chicken land and sea, AMAZING!!! I had my pasta mixed in with the wine sauce it comes with and the crab imperial just made it all. definitely recommend this place and will definitely be back

Usually when I drive by the Anna Bella Ristorante, there are 3, 4 or 5 cars at most in the parking lot. This past Tuesday, I wanted some of their delicious Shrimp LeJon appetizer. I get there, and the place is packed! I drive in, drive around the building and drive out... Tonight (a Friday at 7:45) I try again. The place is crowded again! But I'm not to be denied the shrimp. There are 2 spots out front, so I take one and walk in. There's a big party in the private dining room, and the regular dining room is busy. There are a few empty booths and tables, but they are very busy. I was seated right away and given a menu. The big party is being served salads. It was about 5 minutes until I was asked if I need a beverage (yes!) and maybe 10 more minutes till I was able to give my order - the shrimp and an Italian hoagie (I knew if I ordered an entree, I'd be last in line after the big party and dining room orders). From the moment I arrive, and for at least 20 minutes, I watch the waitstaff run around like chickens without heads! They are moving; between the private party and dining room, there's no time for any idle chit chat. Finally, entrees arrive for the big party, an assembly line of waitstaff taking in the plates... My Shrimp LeJon ($9.95) arrives promptly; 5 jumbo shrimp wrapped in bacon and fried till crisp, served with a whipped, light honey mustard... heaven! On my last bite of these shrimp, my hoagie ($8.95) arrives and I dig in. 1 table of 7 was seated as I arrived, and still hadn't been served their entrees; their appetizers were finished and the waitress was refilling their drinks, and giving them more garlic knots to tide them over. I order a 2nd bottle of Budweiser ($4.00), and gobble down the hoagie (always a very fresh roll and veggies, and meats sliced thin, but they could use a better brand of cured lunch meats - not too much flavor. They should try Thumann's or Boar's Head). Of course, I eat the entire hoagie, now I'm stuffed. I finally see everyone is served and happy; the chef/owner even comes out of the kitchen for a breather and to talk to some regulars. The staff all worked well together to get the 45 or so diners in the place served. Most customers don't care if the food takes an extra 10 minutes or so, if they see their waitress working like crazy, and if she's taking care of them in the meantime. Someone's fettucine alfredo looked VERY good. Next time, when it's not so busy... And if it's a cold night and you are hungry, the lasagna is tasty, too!

Pizza here is very good and worth the extra few dollars. My family has had it several times so we decided to order two meals to go. I should have been concerned when there was only one car in the parking lot at 6:30pm. When I walked in, the owner knew my order immediately and the hostess brought out the food. The order of lasagna and chicken parm was packaged in foil containers with clear tops. I could not help but notice how disappointingly small the portions were. I commented to the hostess how small the portions appeared and was told that the lasagna looks small but is very filling. The owner ignored the conversation. Clearly the kitchen was not busy so I would assume these are standard portions for this Italian restaurant. The food was good but certainly not filling. I will stick with the pizza.

We dine here a few times a year and had 2 family parties in the private room. My 2 favorite dishes are the Chicken/Veal Marsala and Panna Prosciutto & Funghi Fettuccine. Our 2 family parties were at least 15 people and had only one waitress (forgot her name, sorry). She was above and beyond excellent. She was very attentive and spot on with our orders and requests. The restaurant as a whole is very clean and food is tasty(can't vouch for the pizza since we've never had it). You can taste every layer of the food and no one item overpowers the other. If the dining area is full or just a few tables occupied, the service and food never disappoints. The owner is alway happy and pleasant.

To all those out there who enjoy a good Italian food place. I see my wife already reviewed, but this is really worth another one. HERE IS A WARNING!!!! Do NOT go to Anna Bella's. The food is ok. However, a quarter of the way through my wife's very over priced pasta dish, she found a long dark hair. The waitress asked if she was finished, to which of course she replied, "yes I'm done with it." She took the dish away. Came back 10 min later said that she is sorry, and that the owner said that they wear hair nets in the kitchen. I waited for the check, the waitress brought it, and it still had the whole price for the meal on there. No apology, no discount, nothing except a subtle innuendo that it wasn't the restaurants fault. I never saw a better dance routine than that of the hostess when I asked if it was Ralph, the owners, policy to not make amends for a mistake. I paid the check, gave the waitress a more than generous tip, informed her that we would not be back, and we would not host any more rehearsal dinners there either. So if you like Italian, please join Steph and I at either Rosanna's, Molinari's, or Stefano's to name just a couple that have quality owners and operators, and stay well away Anna Bella's, and their owner Ralph. (Don't know his last name.)

We went to Anna bellas tonight because we had a gift card. The place was deserted but it was early for dinner. The server was horrible. She made us feel uncomfortable. When I asked how to pronounce an Italian dish on the menu she said, your guess is as good as mine. She dropped my knife covered sauce on my lap while clearing the plates to take to the back to box up. She then dumped my husbands food together on one plate, at the table, so she didn't have to make two trips back to the kitchen. Spilling sauce all over the table. Then put the check book right in the sauce. Best of all, during the whole meal, an older man sat in the booth behind us ...sleeping and snoring loudly!! We think he was the owner . The food was delicious and legit Italian but the service was awful. We won't go back

Thanks to Yelp reviews I had the pleasure of dining here last week. We had the shrimp lejon pizza, which was horseradish stuffed shrimp wrapped in bacon with honey mustard. It sounds crazy, but oh so tasty. We also had the panna prosciutto and funghi, which consisted of homemade pasta, peas, prosciutto, and mushrooms in a cream sauce. It was the best pasta I've had in years. The service was good, our waitress came over several times to check with us. Lighting was a little brighter than I expected, there are lights above the booths/tables as well as chandeliers throughout. Would be more romantic if the chandeliers were dimmed but it wasn't distracting from the boyfriend. Just an FYI - be careful of granite tables, not a good place to hit your elbow off of.

We've had dinner at Anna Bella's twice now and although our first experience was better than our second, the food is very good authentic Italian. Last month we dined here just before Christmas and the food was OUTSTANDING! My husband had the veal saltimbocca and penne alla vodka and he loved them both. They serve hot, fresh garlic knots with every meal and they are out of this world! I had the scallops and they were some of the best I have ever had. The food was hot & fresh and the portions were very generous. Both times we left with several doggie bags. Last night we dined there again and this time we brought a friend. We had been told that they had a dish called land and sea but it wasn't on the (newly revised) menu. They made it for us anyway, and it was 2 large chicken breasts topped with crab meat topped with mozzarella cheese in a white wine sauce...very tasty but not amazing! My husband had the veal saltimbocca again with the penne alla vodka because he enjoyed it so much last time. Our service was excellent both times but although the place is not very large, they seem to have alot of waiters/waittresses milling around. From our table we could also watch them standing around in the kitchen and eating...not really very professional. We really enjoyed our meals both times and the place has a nice friendly atmosphere. The prices are very reasonable and we will definitely be going back again!

We stopped in to Anna Bella's for a quick dinner and it was promising, but I'll have to give it a second chance. Migraines aren't conducive to a good dining experience, though I was still impressed with their decor, namely the gargantuan chandelier/light fixture in the entrance. The Caesar salad was good and my boyfriend's Sausage and peppers was good- more of the traditional Italian food than the gimmicky chain-type. The service was friendly and quick. I'm interested in the brick-oven pizza, though. Maybe we'll give it a shot this week. EDIT: I still had pizza on my mind today (two days after my previous review) and decided to walk over and pick up a pie. Our Margherita with half meatball was ready in about ten minutes and was probably the best pizza we've had since moving to PA. The crust could have been a bit crispier, but the cheese, sauce and dough were delicious.

The brick oven gourmet pizza is excellent, the staff is friendly and attentive, the ambience is pleasantly rustic, and the portions are more than adequate. I went with my girlfriend and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We split a pizza as an appetizer, shared a caesar salad, and split a pasta entree. The pizza was delicious and perfectly cooked. The caesar salad was flavorful and seasoned perfectly. The pasta was freshly made in-house with a delicious cream sauce and ample toppings. Really well done for the price. Marked as a single $, but it must be the high end of that range. Very much worth it!

Highly priced, poorly prepared italian food. The food was a 3 out of 5. The staff was foul, offensive, and rude - at best. Here goes: I had just moved to the area, single, and craving some freshly made brick oven style Italian pizza. This seemed like a good place to go, another perk - it was a mile from where I was living at the time. I was seated nonchalantly and given a take-out menu as well as the regular menu. Maybe they aren't used to someone coming in to eat by them self? I ordered my specialty pizza, which came only in one size. Now the fun began. An Italian looking gentleman who I imagine as being one of the owners, as well as a few older (40's) males, possibly cooks were having a personal discussion throughout the restaurant while I was waiting for my food. The conversation went from gay-bashing, to disrespectful comments about race, and other offensive comments while I was waiting for my food. The restaurant had only one other group of people and they were in the back so I'm guessing they thought they could say whatever they wanted? Being that I am the norm (single, male, white, heterosexual) it takes a lot for me to be offended for societal groups to which i do not belong (minorities, homosexuals, etc). None-the-less, i was pissed. The food took about 45 minutes to come out, and it wasn't even good. The chef came out and asked how the pizza tasted, I told him exactly how I felt. The pizza lacked flavor, the sauce was bland, and it could have used a little more time in the oven. If you are going to come to my table and ask me, expect an honest answer. He wasn't happy - at this point I couldn't have cared less. I will never go back. Place looks appealing on the outside, forget about it!

We had a ladies night dinner there last week. Server was sweet, attentive, and knew the menu. Our food was overall good- plentiful salads for two, a creamy mushroom pasta dish was to DIE for!, the salmon wrap had barely any salmon, but was tasty and a special order on preparation was honored easily. Desserts were average- the cannoli cake had a soggy cannoli on top- I think it had been sitting in the fridge for a while. We were the last customers in the restaurant and were not rushed out. Overall a solid experience and I would go again... especially with a restaurant.com certificate that takes 25 off of 50. :)
