Great Ice Cream goodies! And great food. And the people are so friendly. Now they have a "diet" ice cream flavor too.[haha] Remember to wipe your boots. Glad they opened. Locals know it is great food too!

Cute little local place. I've been here a few times looking for milkshakes and a quick bite to eat. The shakes keep coming out runny even though we ask for thick or extra thick (even when it's not hot summer), so I've decided to stick to My Place for shakes. The location is really convenient which is why I've been here a handful of times.. but the runny shakes and inconsistent hours have led my business elsewhere. FYI sometimes this place decides to close early without warning.

Sorry, but the two negative reviews I see for this place are simply absurd -- and truly unfair -- and they typify what happens when a Yelp! review needs attention from more fair-minded Yelpers. For pete's sake, here's a great little local non-chain joint trying to offer wholesome food in a lickety-split clean venue -- can't we be careful with reviews? The weird objection about "runny shakes" is obviously written by someone who doesn't know much about old-fashioned, traditional milkshakes, which are never thick. If you want to participate in the whole super-thick corporate chemical milkshake craze, go the McFriendly's or DQ whatever. And you gave the whole venue a one-star for that? The other self-pitying cookie-crunch mix-in complaint seems only a little more justified, but does it really warrant a one-star? Do you really get "angry" about not getting enough cookie crunch in your mix-in? Really? Shut The Door is an excellent, sunny, and super kid-friendly casual restaurant with a fine 50s-style ice cream shop attached. It absolutely does not deserve the 1-star rating it had when I first saw its Yelp! page, and I hope that changes eventually. Shut The Door has some particular standouts: the attractive veggie burger is one of the best in the region; the real hand-cut french fries are reminiscent of carnival fries and deadly-yummy; the tuna salad sandwich is tasty; and there are some unusual items, such as an open-face turkey sandwich on waffles, that draw raves. As for the ice cream, the menu is exhaustive and fun. My 6-year-old swears by the "dirty worms" sundaes, and he always leaves as a sloppy-face satisfied customer. There are plenty of unusual and throw-back tastes on offer -- blue moon ice cream, wet walnut topping, etc. If you've been to Geekers in Bethlehem Township, it's somewhat similar in terms of sundae and shakes. The milkshake snobs I know have never complained about runny shakes. I've talked the owner several times. Very friendly, humble dude who works long, long hours. He and his dedicated staff are making a go at the American Dream in a serious way, and they'll have my business. UPDATE: Management has changed, and our last visit indicated what we considered a big downgrade in creativity and attitude.

The food and ice cream are good. Nothing special. But the prices are crazy!! Way too expensive. $10 for 2 whirlwinds. Wow!!

Most of these reviews are for the former business at this site which is not The Blue Moo. The Blue Moo has Quality Food and Large amounts at a fair price! My daughter and I split a large chicken cheesesteak with perfectly done fries. We finished off with the ice cream we actually came for and can say the place is overall high quality. We gave 5 stars because it is spotlessly clean, quality food and portions and very upbeat friendly owners that smile and thank you for coming. We will return!

First time I was inside since they opened up. The service was great. Food was just as good and the bill was lower then I thought it would be. The owner was behind the counter and was very nice to talk to. Will be back

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
