This is, bar none, the best pizza. I will drive well out if my way to get a slice. I am 28 and have been going since I was 7. In high school I used to get a slice everyday after school and it remains consistent. LOVE.

Above average sandwich and pizza place, can't say I go out of my way to go here but in a pinch it always delivers at least a half decent meal. Good place for families with children. Some of the problems are with the waitresses being slow or not coming around much. I still go there sometimes but not too often. upgrading my review to 4 stars if only because the take out is really good, prices are low, and the guys working there are super friendly. This is one of my first options for takeout and have been going there for takeout a lot lately.

Good for a pizzeria, but that is it. Salad is very overpriced ($10 for chix Caesar) Service is very slow, when sitting down to eat. Wings and pizza are ok. Only one waitress for a weekday evening....seems like the few evenings I ate there they needed more help.

I ordered lunch with coworkers to be delivered. I ordered chicken ceasar salad. They charge $10. I rec'd my salad with dried out chicken, a spoon and bread. I asked for the dressing to be on the side but they forgot it. So, now I can't eat lunch...I wont be ordering from them again! My coworker called and told them I was missing my dressing and they brought it out to me. I'm still not happy. I put my salad in the refrigerator because I couldn't eat it right away. I guess I'll have it for dinner...

I signed up for yelp just to warn all hot wing eaters to avoid michael's for wings. Cheesesteak wasn't bad - nice roll, but DO NOT order wings from here!

I ordered delivery for the first time here. Just a caesar salad and stromboli with chicken, broccoli and mushrooms. When he arrives 1 hr 15 min later ( he did call to say he would be late), he said my order was $35! I was so shocked. He showed me a ticket with $35 written on it. I gave him $40 and closed the door. Then I went back to the menu to add it all up. My total was $28. I called. I was told "yeah, our guy charged you an extra dollar". Like that was ok. I asked about the other charges. He said " well, there's a $3 delivery fee and the extra sauce was $2.75" It's $2 in their menu. It also doesn't mention a delivery fee. He told me they were getting new menus. Not my problem. He said, "what do you want us to do?" I told him to tell his driver to return $4 to us. He said he'd call back an never did. The stromboli was not lightly stuffed and bland. And get this. No mushroom which were about $2. Don't we get scammed enough in this society?!

I work at Merck and stop here as often as possible for the sausage pizza. It's the best I've ever had!

I've been coming to Michael's for years, so not sure why it took me so long to actually write a review on here. Their pizza is fantastic, absolutely love the sicilian here. This is one of those places that if you been coming here long enough they know you and your normal orders. I usually pickup and the staff is fantastic. However, last week during the snowstorm I refused to leave my house and they were delivering!

Picked up lunch here on a busy day setting up things at The Highlands for my friend's wedding. Apparently they are right around the block and they had their menu available online, so that's what we went with. I had a salad, the one with the anchovies (ew, I picked them out.) They did kinda mess up my order because I asked for wedding soup (which I LOVE and they said they HAD but they didn't put it in the bag. Sad face.) I stole some of my friends' french fries instead. They are the good french fries. With a crunchy outside. Look at me sounding like a french fry connesour...connesoire......expert. Connoisseur. Oh that's how you spell it. Anyway, it did the trick. I don't live around here and will never be back, but it had decent takeout. It would have been nice if they put forks and napkins in the takeout bag too. But I guess that was asking too much :P

A solid consistent meal every time at a reasonable price. Although it was not the most amazing meal every the salad and pasta I got were above average. The service was good and the atmosphere was also good.

3 stars because my kids LOVE the spaghetti here. I think Chef BoyArdee tastes better...and I hate canned food. The pizza is alright. Nothing special. Very flat. Spaghetti needs to be drained before they serve it. It's very watery and the sauce gets thinned out a lot. Tried the gnocchi and chicken parm. Nothing special. We only go here when the kids request it, otherwise we stay away. I have to add....the staff is great! Very friendly!

Been coming here for 25 years now. Best pizza around for sure, friendly staff, great chicken parm.

The take out is great. I order from here all the time. The restaurant atmosphere is dated and the waitresses were chatty and slow; with three kids I need them to get the order in and out on the table fast.

This place is great! It is by far my favorite pizza (of anywhere) and they also have many other great options! My family enjoys their hamburgers, chicken tenders, french fries, etc. They seem to have a great customer base and everyone I know likes their food. The staff is super friendly and they are always polite and accommodating. The restaurant is set up nicely with a separate sitting area for people who are eating there and then another section for pick up orders. This is nice for if you are eating there because you son't see all the in and out traffic. This place is not a super classy, fancy Italian restaurant, but they do offer delicious Italian food along side many American options. I think it is definitely a go to place, especially for pizza!

I have only had the pizza from here and it was pretty darn good, nice crispy crust, perfect combo of cheese and sauce. It's not a very flashy place but they get the job done. Not five star dining, but for take out I recommend their traditional pie over the other place in broad axe. They have cold six packs, not a huge selection, but I'm almost certain it would be your best option for a quick beer run. Parking lot is a bit of a nightmare and always has been.

This is the best pizza in town! Been coming here for years... I had moved downtown for a few years and always missed Michales pizza. Never could find a good substitute even with all the pizza options in philly. This is definitely a new york style pizza and the toppings are delicious and fresh. Great place for cheeseteaks and a variety of 6 packs!

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
