Though their takeout counter is so busy it warrants it's own entrance the sit down service is always a great option for dinner. The pizza is always solid and their pasta dishes standout. However those aren't the only good things they offer. Other favorites on the menu include the chicken soup, wings, and Cajun chicken Caesar salad. Though it's not on the menu they'll make their gnocchi with vodka sauce and it's out of this world. Definitely always an option for a great dinner for those who have a variety of cravings.

A-OK! I wouldn't say I'm a fan, but three stars doesn't seem like enough for a nice place like this. Friendly fast service. Nice menu. Good food. (We had pizza and burgers) Will definitely be back!

Great food and friendly staff. Some of the best gnocchis I've ever had - they are homemade and melt in your mouth! Their pizza is also very good - I especially like the White Works pizza.

Giuseppe's is as good as it gets, with table service and take-out. The food is good, the prices honest and fair, and the service is excellent. You could do much worse, and not much better than Giuseppe's.

So lucky to have a decent pizza place down the street! We get take out often. I ADORE The pizza. Very much like a NY slice! BUT sometimes on weekends you get different crew so there can be inconsistencies. Very personable staff! IF eating in don't be turned off by the ambiance - it is not great! Cute big wooden bar but that is about it. BUT the food is pretty decent. I am a definite pasta snob and their gnocchi are amazing! Made in house! And the mussels in red sauce!! I get mussels every change I get and still no one has beaten theirs! And during happy hour they are $5!! Doesn't even cover cost. HUGE serving and swimming in the freshest red sauce ever - full of fresh basil. Really amazing!

Ambler, PA Didnt get to taste the food but I was here for an event. What I really like about this place is they have a door separating the take out /ordering area from their guest dining room. I think you can rent it. And they have another entrance where they rent for events too...if Im not mistaken. Very cool business strategy for them! I like!

We got the White Works Pizza - and it was one of the tastiest pizzas I had ever eaten. The crust was heaven - slightly crispy on the outside yet almost melt-in-your-mouth soft on the inside. The presentation of the pizza was delightful. The ricotta cheese was in those swirly patterns from coming out of the tube. The tomatoes were superb and obviously fresh. However, the service was horrible. The waitress was unfriendly and acted like we were bothering her. The restaurant was not super clean, but since it was dark inside it was not too noticeable or off-putting. But other than that, I will return to this restaurant for the food! Particularly the "White Works" pizza!

I tried this place, based on the positive reviews and some 5 star pizza ratings. Service was good and very attentive and plenty of TV's, which was nice. Atmosphere is about a 3. Based on just Pizza, I give it about a 3-3.5. Just ok. Sauce was plain and bland. BBQ chicken pizza was much better, but not the best I've had. Seems like a decent family restaurant. Could use some finishing touches. Nice selection of stuff on the menu, but haven't tried it. Pizza is better at Fireside across the street.

Stopped on the way home from travelling. Pizza is very good, crust is crispy and chewy at the same time. Chicken cutlet sandwich was very good-spinach was friend also which was a nice touch. Prefer hard Parmesan to Provolone but sandwich was still good. Service was good. Atmosphere was what I expected-bathrooms were clean.

It's a comfortable bar atmosphere to eat with your family. The service is prompt and courteous. We had the lasagna, mozzarella stick, French Onion soup, couple slices of pepperoni pizza and the ahi tuna special. The tuna special was good - not great, not bad, but good. The lasagna was okay too. My son said the pizza was good, but wouldn't be his first choice for getting a slice. Basically, the food is good. Good enough to go back to, but not necessarily the first choice to eat Italian again. I'm not sure I will make a visit there again, but if someone asked me to meet them there for a meal, I would go.

I ate here once a long time ago, so i decided to give it another try. I was looking to order a big pizza, I picked up the phone and when I called they were so stinking rude I decided to just not order the pizza. I went to another bar/restaurant and got one. They acted like they are celebrities and I am lucky to be able to call them. Not impressed. Especially because there are so many places like this around the area. I will go to one of the 20 other places on Bethlehem Pike, or Dekalb Pike.

Giuseppe's is a perfectly acceptable pizza parlor, and they make an especially fine cheesesteak. I usually get a pizza steak from here, and it's a nice size, with good marinara sauce and plenty of cheese. The one I got on Sat was a little dry, but I loved that they put it in a styrofoam hoagie container instead of wrapping it in paper, so that the marinara didn't get all over everything... Last time I was here I had a peppers and eggs sandwich from here, and it was great. I love that it was even on the menu- most places don't make good old-fashioned stuff like that anymore...

Service was good and it's a friendly place. Unfortunately, I can only give it a 3 because the spaghetti and meatballs were average at best. Seriously lacked taste.

The pizza here is very good and gets a solid 4 stars (mostly for the excellent crust). Unfortunately my Corona was flat and the service was only mediocre which lowered my rating.

There was a time that i ate here at least twice a week.... Long time ago. At some time we just stopped going here, though neither MsD or I can remember why. That said, we tried to go across the street but didn't feel like waiting a half an hour. So we decided to take a try. I'm giving three stars because because we just had pasta and nothing special about it. We'll go back though and try more stuff. Service was good, food was good, restaurant is convenient. I had the Fetttucine Bolognese and MsD had spaghetti. Both were good, though not great. I know parking can be a bit tight here, but tonight no problem. Tonight was a little noisy, but a nice neighborhood feel to this restaurant. Looking forward to going back soon, certainly another local place to run out to and get something quick and a drink.

Why hasn't anyone reviewed Giuseppe's yet? I love Giuseppe's. They have delicious pizza with a nice, crispy crust that I crave. The staff is really friendly and the environment is really comfortable. They are a bit on the expensive side and their steaks and hoagies leave something to be desired...I have definitely had better. But for the pizza, the cost is well worth it.

Good place to eat and drink. Has always been a very dependable stop for pizza, steaks, hoagies, pasta, etc.. Now they have included a really nice bar to the restaurant. The bar and wait staff are very friendly and efficient. Happy Hour specials make for an enjoyable after work stop.

I have been eating here for years and if nothing else the food is consistently good. The pizza is excellent though a little on the pricey side. I haven't had any problems with the service in or at the bar. An overall good dining experience.

Yeah as far as Ambler Pizza joints go, Giuseppe's is probably the best. Like the other reviewers said their steaks and hoagies are good but not life changing. Their pizza is what I come back for, the crust is crisp without the pizza being burnt, probably a good seasoned oven. I love their Italian sausage, it remind me of the kind that would be on the pizza as a kid. Their prices aren't great but their pizza is worth it, they also sell 6 packs and 40's at the take out counter. I know the clientele can be a bit shady when you pick up your pie, but they get you in and out pretty quickly. Oh they also now have a bar on the one side of the restaurant, never been, but when I go by in the evening, the lot is packed.

I just recently ordered pizza from this restaurant- great pizza and more importantly, great price. I only gave them 4 out of 5 stars as the teens working behind counter of take out section of restaurant were not customer focused- seemed oblivious to customers standing there and had slight attitude to boot. Management needs to re- hire.
