Was in the mood for standard pub fare while watching a playoff game, so I only had the sweet and sweaty wings and fries -- however, Ringer's Roost seems to have a pretty interesting menu and I look forward to trying more things in the future. Decent beer selection -- all of the standard taps with a couple of microbrews, as well as a small bottle selection.

Love this place. One of the best places in town for wings. Check out the Monday night wing special.

I actually don't mind it but since the husband hates it after 2 tries, I guess we won't be back. Sandwiches, burgers and chicken sandwiches very good. Apps are ok but surprisingly high priced compared to the sandwiches. There's a very local, VERY insular vibe here: Either you're a regular or you're not. Be prepared to be one or the other and have everyone know it. Really odd mix of young drinkers and older, grey haired, baby-powdered folks coming for an early dinner. Drink order came out wrong and burger not cooked as requested on either visit (not sure why they ask, then, if everything is well done). Mayo requested on the side came out with a big lump of that icky, solid, yellow glob of yuck that forms on the edge of old mayo jars. Napkins were stained/dirty in the box that held mustard/ketchup which was kind of annoying. The staff is super sweet but I don't get the feeling they care much what we think. There's always more local regulars lined up to grab the seat I may have unhappily vacated.

As always great service, food and drink. This is a local bar cranking out awesome food. If you go, get the stuffed mushrooms. Overstuffed with lump crab like they should be. The beer selection is excellent. Atmosphere is great And is typically local but everyone is welcome.

Good place for food and beer.. One of my favorite home town bars in allentown. Try their nachos with chicken, they are awesome.

Went here to "celebrate" after my friend's test results. What an undiscovered gem. We each drank ourselves sick and didn't break the bank doing it. The atmosphere is fun and trendy with a flirty, upscale crowd that isn't afraid to party. Very cool.

I came out here at the last minute with my immediate/extended family (we had planned on another place just down the street, but the wait was excessive). Now, normally, my extended family at any sort of public place is a disaster, as nobody can make up their minds, and basically act like they have never been in a restaurant before in their lives. Thankfully, this place was casual enough to avoid the group sticking out too bad, yet it wasn't some cheesy chain-style place either. Everyone was really friendly and cheerful, from the hostess to the server. Our large (8 person) party was seated quickly, and we had drinks almost immediately. It was very busy, but things seemed to move along briskly enough. Fried perogies (hey, its Allentown) made for an excellent appetizer, and even though my entree (chicken breast stuffed with lump crabmeat) was late, they were thoughtful enough to apologize profusely and then comped a drink. I know stuff happens, so I don't mind so long as its acknowledged. They were also quick to put on the Phillies game for us, and they had an Addam's Family pinball machine tucked in the back...extra star just for that. I'd come here again, as the food was above average for pub fare, the service great, and it was a lively, yet not TOO lively crowd for a Friday night.

Friendly waitress, and above average mostly salty bar food in a cramped space. Draft beer not cold enough, and borderline flat. Some specials on the chalkboard were not honored. Many older locals at the bar. Very young bartender. ( 2 1/2 rating.)

This is a great local bar. They have decent wings and a homey vibe. The service was great and will most likely return.

Table service can be slow, but food is always delicious. Reasonable prices. A nice laid back bar if you like watching games and hanging with friends in a non-loud and annoying atmosphere.

Cute quaint place with lots of parking. Love the old beer bottles on the wall. I had a steak salad which was large and tasty. Shared a Chimay. Went to watch football since they have the ticket but it's not a place to go for that. The music was really loud and no audio of the game. Will be back again when I'm in the area but I'll watch football somewhere else. Bartender was friendly but easily distracted and slow.
