I signed up just to write a review of this place. In my 38 years I have never had worse Chinese food than this! Never, never ever!!! The wonton soup broth was bland but the wontons were ok. Just ok. I got the shrimp lo mien combo. The shrimp tasted old and freezer burned. The lo mien was more bland than the soup. The fried rice was yellow rice and bits of pork. That's it! Terrible. Heck, even the green tea was bad. It's as if a big wind came along and blew all of the flavor right out of this place. I really regret driving by Burger King to stop at here. I will never eat hear again. The only good things I can say is that, unlike most Chinese restaurants, this one was well kept and very clean. Except for the restroom it had a very trendy decor. BUT, they serve food on styrofoam plates. Holy cow! Avoid. Avoid. Avoid!!!!!!

Never understood why people say Mi Chong is good... the food is just ok. Prices are too high in my opinion for such mediocre food, and their fried chicken wings are definitely weird with the batter they use. And they were charging $3.95 for 4 wings when other places were still offering them for only around $1.95 - $3.25. But now that prices have gone up in the other restaurants, they still kept the price about the same. That's the only thing that got them the second star.

This was my favorite place to eat in the valley. Owner was friendly. Food was great. Consistent. Then new management took over and no dish is similar to what it was before. Try to make changes, they never prepare it the way I ask. The new owner should have kept the same chef. Will never go here agin.

Mi Chong's is great I usually go there at least once a month. They are very willing to customize the menu to suit you tastes. The service is quick and the food is wonderful.

Awful!! The rice tastes like a salty boxed rice cooked 2 days ago. The food has no flavor except for tons of sodium. The absolute worst food ever. I have to let the management there know that if you want to open a restaurant, you damn better have a chef that has a clue!!!! Fire the chef before you lose your business. The sad part is that wegmans up the street has an asian buffet which is 10 times better, and then you have to ask yourself..how good can a buffet in a grocery store be??? Not very good, and they are way overpriced as well. I hoipe they go out of business so someone else can move in and make good food..gross!! stay away

I love this little fast food Chinese restaurant. They go above and beyond your typical take-out place with a nice paint job and artistic touches here there. You can eat in or take out. Prices are good, and the food is excellent. They have been rated the best Chinese in the Valley, and it shows. Everything is good, and the service is fast and friendly. Just a great place!

Well, I just tried another recommendation from Yelp, and I seem to be batting 0. Maybe my idea of what constitutes good Chinese food is different than other reviewers. Perhaps I should make it clear at the outset that I don't do all-you-can-eat Chinese buffets - never found one with the quality of Chinese food that I enjoy. So if you are a fan of all-you-can-eat Chinese buffets, we are probably not on the same wave-length. So anyway, I ordered Shrimp with Lobster Sauce for lunch, since this is a dish I order frequently at my all time favorite Chinese take-out (subject of it's own review) "Best Food In Town" Chinese take-out in Quakertown, and I wanted to compare something I was familiar with. The lobster sauce was watery, I picked out the hard peas, and it had these funny little cubes of carrots in it.The taste was so salty that after I ate all the shrimp, I actually threw the rest away (it has to be pretty bad for me to throw food away!). I am eating a piece of toast with orange marmalade as I type this to get the taste out of my mouth. Just in case Shrimp with Lobster Sauce was an unlucky bad choice, I also found that the fried rice that came with the dish wasn't even close to the delicious fried rice I'm used to at BFIT. The wonton soup that came with the lunch doesn't have a lot of flavor, but at least is not super salty. I'm assuming the salty taste is an over-abundance of MSG? The food was ready immediately, which was my first clue that all might not be well, unlike BFIT where it is prepared when you order it, and you have to wait about 15 minutes. The prices were about the same as other places I've tried. I must say that of all the Chinese restaurants I've tried in the Lehigh Valley. this one is by far the worst. Others have been not great, but okay, where as the food I just ate was really bad. I know it is all a matter of taste (for instance,I don't consider a Big Mac a real hamburger), so by all means try it if you are so inclined. Maybe the other site is better, but if it is the same owner, I would assume the same taste. I'm not willing to take a chance. Still have that bad salty taste in my mouth - the orange marmalade didn't help :-(

I agree there should be more pork in that pork fried rice but the rice itself is better than any other Chinese restaurant around. Their egg rolls are really good too. I love the chicken and broccoli, and the Hunan chicken.

I just ordered Mi Chong's delivery and it was horrible. The food is average and the delivery driver was extremely rude. He did not bring a pen for me to sign a receipt, there was no fork or sticks with my food, and he seemed as if he was bothered I gave them business. I will never go back.

Please don't waste your time or money. The pork fried rice is simply yellow rice with a few bits of pork in it. When I showed them I was told "it doesn't come with vegetables" but they offered to make me a new one after the two workers argued about it right at the counter. The sesame chicken was soggy and I was told again that's how it comes and I have to ask for it to be crispy... The worst Chinese food I've ever had and I will never eat here again

Food isn't very flavorful, and they started charging a delivery fee without warning customers first. I just put their menu through my paper shredder.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
