Great food. Great Value. I don't know why this place is rated $$ should just be $ I went here for lunch, got a small pasta dish, small portion for 5.95 for sit down. came with 4 bread sticks with amazing garlic olive oil sauce i can dip them in. my pasta dish with meatball came out fast. and the portion was just as big as if i got full dinner size elsewhere. You can't beat that anywhere for 5.95. Highly will recommend again, especially for pasta small portion on sit down.

Great pizza, fresh ingredients. If you like Paese Mio in allentown, you will like this place as well. Same family. Freshest italian food in allentown.

I have found this place to have the best Pizza in the Valley. I prefer the Sicilian and White Pizza. Have had a few entrees and they have all been excellent. This place reminds me of the Italian Pizza shops from my home town. The service has also been good and friendly.

Horrible all around! Asked to substitute a salad (and willing to pay extra) for the pasta that came with my dinner. They would not do it. I've never had a restaurant refuse a substitution. When the delivery arrived they were out of the dressing I ordered. Then to top it off the food is gross .I ordered chicken piccata. One teeny tiny piece of chicken and a whole mess of pasta. Not even half of the portion you get at most places. My husbands wings were cold n soggy. Such a dissappointment!

I've tried the pizza here twice now and sticking to my rule to never review a place after one visit, they lost a star from what I was ready to give them after my first visit. as so many other have said, the LV is not know for having good pizza, so it's hard to find decent one, and Sal's is definitely one of the best we've tried. To me it all comes down to the level of ingredients they use and one the signs that they are using better ingredients is that I'm not trying to drink a gallon of water over the next 5 hours after eating it. Another key thing for me from pizza shops is the level of caring you et when you walk in and Sal's give that to you. The place is clean and has a nice staff. Whre they failed me was on my second trip as my pizza was too well done. They probably made a call thinking it was borderline, but to me it was over that border and should not have been given out that way. I'm hoping that was just a one time bad call as that can happen. If it happens again though I'd drop them to one or two stars.

Ordered thru GrubHub. Food came earlier than promised! Order was still hot and was excellent. I definitely will order from them again.

I order Sal's pretty frequently since it is near my house and it is delicious. I like the New York style pizza, it's my favorite, and Sal's does it very well. I like the Margarita pizza best. I would also recommend the garlic knots, especially if you like garlic! They are buttery dough balls covered in garlic and awesome. They also deliver.

I really use to love Sals...they had one of the best sicilian pizzas. But it hasnt been the same since they're under new management. Im not sure if they changed their cook or their ingredients....just not the same anymore..

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
