We have never tried this place before and gave it a shot about three days ago. I'll just start by saying this is probably the best coffee I've ever had. Being from Sacramento California we're stuck with mostly Starbucks and Pete's coffee shops. The service was great here as well. I even bought some ground coffee to bring home with me. Loved The Village Bean! Just wish I had one here. If you've never tried this place, give it a try you'll love it.

So lucky to call this Gem my neighbor! Excellent coffee, friendly and talented baristas, and always delicious treats..try a coffee float! Inside is cozy, great unique gifts. I make it a mandatory visit for anyone coming to town.

After a long day inspecting every square inch of the Cape Perpetua area I was in need of a coffee. We drove the two miles to Yachats and stopped at the first coffee shop. Luckily it closed at 2:00. That forced us to drive further to the north end of town and there was the Village Bean. This is a terminally cute place with excellent coffee and baked goods. I had a Maple / Date Scone that was to die for. The Latte was prepared well and was just right. Friendly staff, comfy chairs, and free WiFi put the cherry on the top of the experience. I will be back!

Don't let the small size of this place fool you. Premium mocha was killer, served up by a beautiful redhead barista in a dress and cowboy boots. Cheerful ambiance and other customers were quite friendly.

I LOVE this coffee stand! Stopped in Yachats during a road trip on the Oregon coast. The Village Bean was the highlight of my morning. The friendliest service, delcious organic house coffee, amazing chai, and wonderful scones! They have cute stickers covering the cup openings and all drinks are topped with a chocolate covered espresso bean. The kind, warm-hearted service makes you feel like all is right in the world. Love this place!

Delicious mocha while traveling down the coast, I would definitely stop again. Cute stamp on the cup gives a nice local touch. Coffee with some flavor!

This place has the most delicious coffee! Not too strong not too weak...roasted right in Portland so it tastes so fresh! We come to yachats every year and I always visit this cute little stand every morning! They not only have good coffee, their other drink assortments are wonderful, too. The baristas are always friendly and know how to make things that aren't even on the menu. They also have good food, fun souvenirs, and a little area inside to sit if you prefer not to use the drive up. A definite winner in my book!!

I heart this coffee shop. If I am not drinking Dutch Bros, I am sippin' my iced white mocha from the Village Bean on the beach of Yachats. This charming little coffee shop is full of fun beachy trinkets for sale in the cafe part, which I suggest you check out. Its super cozy inside with a little stove and tender coffee jams on the stereo. They have the best Iced White Mocha mix, hands down, tons of local baked goods and creative drink names! Oh, and they have these ridiculously cute stickers they put over the drink opening so it doesn't spill. Genius! Check out the facebook page, visit the Coast and enjoy yourself a Sea Turtle by the sea shore. :)

Nice barista, cute store, wide selection, but poorly made coffee. My shots were burnt, and my foam was poorly made, nice barista, she just didn't know how to make a Latte.

We stopped here on our drive up to Lincoln City. I had a delicious meal that consisted of their Ghirardelli Mocha coffee and some of my friend's chocolate chip cookie. I was a happy camper.

My go to coffee place when on the Oregon coast. I used to live in town and this place is always the place that welcomes me home Make sure you check in! I usually go for my regular mocha but love their cold drinks as well. Don't pass it by if you're in the mood for coffee. The inside seating area is comfortable and they have free WiFi. A nice place to sit and relax.

Thanks for being open at 3 pm. The other recommended place in town closes at 2:30 EVERYDAY!! Crazy good cookies, a great americano and a warm cozy seating area. Stop by you won't be disappointed.

Stopped by this place on my way home from visiting family. Just a nice little drive thru. We ordered 4 drinks and our wait really wasn't that bad. A lot of drive thru places are agonizingly slow. The lady who took our Order was nice enough and she got all our drinks right... And read them back as she handed them to us. One of my pet peeves with Dutch Bros is they refuse to tell you what your Order is when they give you the drink and you're not sure what you got. Anyway, I digress. While I didn't go in- it seems like a good place to stop if you need Internet. I love yachats- but the Internet and cell service is like a 3rd world country. This place will solve your problem.

This place rocks, we were traveling through Yachats, Or and found this coffee joint. The menu is fun and the drinks are out of this world. We had to adult small drinks and two children's and it was 11 bucks. Cheap! The kids drinks were just the right temperature for them to drink just as we got them. All the drinks came with a cool sticker over the drink hole so they didn't spill, neat idea. The chick in the window was very friendly and helpful. The service was fast for a drive thru joint. There is also a indoor area with seating that looks really cozy. I will be back tomorrow for my morning mocha. I'm happy that we found this place.

Great spot to stop for coffee. Our barista made two exceptional Americanos. Although it's a drive through there is a lovely indoor seating area with gift shop plus cute garden bench seating outside. Highly recommended.

Cozy environment, ocean coast view, lovely thick homemade ginger molasses and chocolate cookies!!! The coffee is strong, comforting, and many flavors!!! Milky Way is great!!! Filthy Dirty Chia is heavenly!!!!

We loved their cappuccino! It's a nice little place and we went drive thru to get our coffee. The coffee was rich, balanced and had a lot of depth to it. Unlike, some of the other places that have a weird burnt after taste to the coffee. We would definitely recommend this place.

If you have a hankering for a coffee beverage look no further. I consider myself a coffee snob, connoisseur, or some might say addict, so I think I'm a pretty good judge of a cup of good brew! This location has taken a kiosk to the nth-cuteness factor! It's located right off the road. It backs up to the ocean, so it's really a sublime locale! They offer a drive through, which if there's more than a couple cars in line, can cause a slight back-up. They have an inside seating option too, which was super cozy. I think the landscaping made it all the more inviting and relaxing. Their menu is super easy to read. They offer 4 size options. We tried the Sea Turtle (OMGoodness) and the White Mocha. They also offer fresh homemade baked goodies. We tried the ginger molasses, which was almost as good as my Mom's (shoo, she can't ever know...). The staff are super friendly and helpful in explaining the menu options. This place has been bookmarked. I wish I could give more than 5 STARS! We will make it a point for this to be our go-to coffee stop on our next Oregon road trip. #oregonroadtripsrule

Some of the best coffee, specialty drinks and treats on the Oregon Coast. I've been here at least a dozen times over the last few years and finally decided to write a review. The customer service is outstanding, and such a treat as a Californian. Quality beans are used and a basic cup of coffee is so satisfying. But their specialty brews are great, Sea Turtle or Mexi Mocha are my go to if I'm looking for something different. When it comes to consistency, this place is on point... No matter who is working the window or pulling your brew, the staff is happy and the coffee is excellent. If you happen to be driving up or staying on the Coast check this little place out. They also have phenomenal scones, muffins, cookies and tasty treats. If you come early and hungry, fill your belly with the best biscuits and gravy ever... yes, ever!

Bad coffee. Husband drank a few mouthfuls and discarded the rest. Inaccurate advertising with respect to the fruit smoothies, which were stated to be "100% fruit." We ordered the fruit smoothies on that basis. A customer who came in after us queried the staff as to whether the fruit smoothies were really 100% fruit. The friendly woman behind the counter admitted the smoothies were not 100% fruit. When we received our smoothies, they tasted syrupy (one step above a Slurpee) so I think the woman behind the counter knew of what she spoke.

Super cute little shoppe with lots to look at inside and out, just blocks from the ocean. Just 1 person taking the orders and making all the drinks for both the drive-through and inside, but she had it down, nearly no wait! Many delicious flavor concoctions to choose from, we went for the Creme Brûlée & Sea Turtle and both were a perfect blend of warm joy. Tried a Doughnut muffin, literally melted in my mouth. How do you make them? I must know. Will stop by if we ever find ourselves around Yachats again!

As far as road side coffee it doesn't get better than this. I've had coffee her re several times while passing by on 101, and I'm always impressed with their espresso. They often put a little chocolate espresso bean on the cup lid that will melt as you drink your coffee.

Adorable, delicious coffee! A whole mocha-inspired menu! I had the Mexi-Mocha both days I was in town, as they are quiet rare and loved them! Loved the little sticker (perfect for on the go cups!) as well as the bean! Went inside to order one day, as the drive through line was long and I am so glad I did. Wish I had time to stay a little longer as the place is so cute! I loved reading the guest book at one of the tables to see where people passing through were from.

Oh. My. God. Do you like coffee? What about chai? Do you like a warm beverage while you are on the beach? If you answered yes to any of these questions...GO HERE! Holy cow. This little place never ceases to amaze me. Their filthy dirty chai is so unbelievably good and perfect on a chilly morning. Such friendly people and good drinks. Definitely worth a stop!

One of the best coffee stations along the OR coast, The Village Bean does it just right. Located just to the north end in the town of Yachats, TVB serves up standard coffee drinks (e.g., 2% lattes) along with the some of the more outlandish (e.g., .Cherry Bonbon--coffee, cherry, chocolate, cream). Side note: Am I alone in thinking that many espresso places are now quite enamored with the over-the-top quaffs and have forgotten how to make an espresso or espresso and milk drink taste good? Either way, the service here is also outstanding, and couple that with relatively late hours of operation (til 5:00 all days during the high season), and ORGANIC beans from Portland Roasting? I am hooked, baby. The other element to success that TVB embodies is flair. Case in point, they cover customers' straws with little cardboard "stickers" before handing them over (I use that term loosely, b/c there's very little...stick'um, which is a good thing!). These stickers range from the overused "Keep Calm..." variety, to pictures of parrots in eye patches (not used nearly enough!). The Man and I keep a little collection of these stickers in our glove box. They're a nice reminder of trips to our lovely Oregon coast.

This is some of the best coffee on the Oregon coast. Their baked goodies are also delish. Can't wait until the next time I'm in Yachats to visit them again. Definitely a 5 star joint in my experience, never have I been disappointed by the Village Bean!

As a third-wave coffee convert, I was not expecting much in the way of espresso in Yachats while we stayed at the Overleaf Lodge. The Village Bean is an oasis in a desert of Starbucks copycats. They currently serve Portland Roasting's Sorano for espresso and it is very good. Has some dark chocolate and caramel tones without the usual bitterness you expect outside of Portland's micro-roasting-in-every-neighborhood. The drip coffee was French Roast and was like all French Roasts...bitter. Go with an Americano using the Sorano. This is the only reason I did not give 5 stars. The baristas do a great job and are really friendly, so tip well.

I stop here pretty regularly since moving to Yachats and I am never disappointed. Everyone is extremely nice and friendly which I value when I give people my money. My coffee is always perfect and I like the little touches of a chocolate covered espresso bean and cute sticker (which I started collecting in my car!). Great addition to Yachats and well done!

Having a sea turtle as I write this. All of the descriptions on here are spot on. The building is a cute little hut with 8 seats inside and a drive up window. You can't go wrong.

Macchiato spot on. ...in a 3oz cup. ...as it should be (: Wife loved her cap as well. Don't just drive though, step inside and enjoy for a moment.

My husband travels to Yachats for work every few months and stays for a few nights at a time. He frequents this coffee shop every morning while he's here, and has never been disappointed with the service or the product. I got to experience it myself this morning for the first time, and was quite pleased. Definitely service with a smile, very good espresso drinks, and a very tasty scone that I saw the barista pull out of the oven while I was waiting for my order. Since my husband comes here so frequently, I know that the cute stickers on our drink lids and the bonus chocolate covered espresso beans are something that is provided every time, but nonetheless it is still a bonus and it added to my enjoyment of the experience. What I think was a unique extra was the barista gave us beads in celebration of Mardi Gras! (She was playing what sounded like second-line music on the stereo too) We went to the drive-up window, but you can also park and walk in. It's a tiny place but I think there are a couple tables inside. Nice view of the ocean!

The coffee is great! The gal who works there is adorable! We got a raspberry white mocha. It was great! The coffee shop itself is cute!! It has a really great feel to it! It's almost Pinterest perfect! I really enjoy the feel that it has. You can go in and order and you can drive through. They have a delicious selection of coffee and snacks! A+ (:

Fast & Friendly!! The host walked us through several of the house specials and got our order completed perfectly. She gave me a special lid sticker...I think we had a little love connection!!! Seriously, give the place a try when in Yachats.

This is a happy place. The staff and décor are great. Their coffee drinks are excellent and they have a nice assortment of baked goods. We loved the marionberry muffin and the chocolate coffee beans for the road.

I love this place!! It is worth your time to park and walk in because this little house is adorable! And surprisingly enough there is room to sit inside. The coffee is good and comes with stickers on top which is a unique touch!
