Yummy! Love this place, good food and good drinks. The service always rocks! If you want good food skip countryside and give yukons a try. They always have a daily speacial, and a daily soup choice. For dinner I enjoy chicken strip dinner, fish and chip dinner, chef salad, steak salad. For Breakfast I love their bacon (nice and thick cut) with pancakes or biscuits and gravy. Give this place a try, better than anything else in veneta.

I can't help it, I have been coming to Yukon since it was called Hacks, it's my dive bar and I love it. What's good? Steaks, beer, and good drinks. Live music Saturday night always a good band, usually rock, pool tables and a very interesting crowd. What's bad?a bit run down but hey, it's an old building. I suggest dinner in the restaurant then pool and drinks in the bar after, you will love it (did I mention good steaks?)

It's worth the drive from Eugene to go to Yukon's on Friday and Saturday night especially when Most Wanted is playing! They are the best Country Rock band around! Gotta love the lighted hula hoopers that get out on the dance floor on occasion!

4 on the steak. Atmosphere 2.5 Good beer. Good service! Ribs were at least a 4. Trying to find a favorite for steaks, probably liked Texas steakhouse better.

I have been to the restaurant side a couple times there's a bar side also. My family have had dinner there since there are not many places to eat in Veneta. First time was great that's why we came back and it went down hill from there! This last time my daughter ordered fried clams she loves seafood! She took one bite and gagged I thought maybe she was being picky but nope sure enough I tried them they tasted very spoiled and very sour!! We told our waitress were she went and got the owner he came over to the table and continued to argue with us about how there perfectly fine and nothing wrong with them! He was very rude and unprofessional. You would think in a small town he would want all the business he can. We will not be going back there and I will be telling friends and family. He also still charged us for the meal after taking my daughters full plate and not bringing her something else she ended up sharing with me.

I might have had to lower it a star if it hadn't been for the Oregon smoking ban. Now the restaurant and bar are both smokefree. Before the smoke would still somehow creep in from the bar next door. But on the plus side you can get any type of drink that you want. For the decor, it is an old lumber mill style steakhouse. The steaks are terrific and well seasoned. I would rather come here than Outback, The Roadhouse, even Ruth's Chris in Portland. It has a country feel and the prices are really reasonable. I have had their sirloin - really good, and at $9.99 for the steak with salad, vegetable, potatoes, and choice of gravy, what a deal. I have also had their Porterhouse - very good, which is on special and runs at about $17.99 for everything that comes with the meal. I normally order their rib-eye - excellent, with great spicing and cooking to perfection. It reminds you that you should take a trip to the country to get a good steak. Also you can add shrimp to any entree for $3.99 for 5 jumbo shrimp. It is not only a value, but the food is great also. Sometimes the service is a little lacking, but things move slower in the country.
