This was our first time coming to Well & Good. Being from Seattle/Tacoma this place was a nice surprise!! Amazing atmosphere inside the coffee shop, the food was amazing, made fresh each day, and the espresso speaks for its self. We will definitely be back!!

I used to go here all the time when it was the Beveland Coffee Shop, and I LOVED it. So I went to Well & Good today in hopes that I would still like it. It was amazing. The food is just as good or maybe better. The location has had a great makeover! I don't live in the Tigard area anymore...but if I did, this would be my go to place to hang out. I highly recommend it! (I can't rate the coffee because I don't drink coffee.)

I absolutely love this place! My favorite for the Beaverton area!! It just has a really great atmosphere..

The parking situation there sucks -- most of the spaces are reserved, and it's a pretty small lot. However, the inside of this coffee shop is cute and they have a nice selection of drinks and food. I got a vanilla cronut and it was quite good.

The coffee was decent, it didn't scream magical but it did the job and was nice and hot. For nice shops like this though, the ambiance usually makes up for "good enough" coffee. When I went, the place seemed a little more geared towards being the new hangout spot for hip new moms (literally, there were 4 new moms with their babies in the corner) and business coworkers meeting for a nice conversation and a cup of coffee. I was trying to do some work and had forgotten my headphones - the place was a little loud without them, I could hear the chatter very clearly. I didn't try the food, but it looked like it was all prepackaged sandwiches and salads - not sure if they have anything that is made to order. Regardless, the place is nice and roomy yet still cozy and homey. The shop is tucked away off of the 217 by the 5, but I work pretty close by in L.O. I can definitely see myself stopping in again for a little coffee & study session before work because I love supporting local coffee shops like this!

Simply the best coffee in Portland. For years I have roasted my own coffee, and when I do not have any on supply Well & Good is the place I want to go to. Their Americanos are a must try. Friendly and knowledgeable baristas and wonderful atmosphere-- 5 stars!

Everything about this place is beautiful. The store, the staff, and their products. I frequent this place about two times a week because I am such a big fan.

Love all the choices. The atmosphere is great for conversation as well as a business meeting. Food choices are amazing. They heat up the paninis and the sourdough cinnamon roll is on my list next!

This is my favorite coffee spot in the Lake O area... The cappuccino is dry, the sandwiches and soup are fresh, and the service is decent. What puts this place head and shoulders above any Bux is the ambiance.... Inside is cozy and very Pacific NW, and the outside patio can't be best on a warm sunny day.

I live up the street and come here often, 1st time reviewing. Coffee is great and well made, breakfast burritos are a favorite as well (I miss the Chorizo). The baristas are always friendly, Danielle is super kind and willing to really get to know the customers. She has gone out of her way to chat with my wife and I when we visit =). A couple of suggestions. I don't see any contact info on your website, specifically for suggestions. The staff mentioned the best way to suggest something is by Yelp (not really the best way in my opinion). I wanted to suggest considering adding a couple drinks to your menu. I recently returned from out of town and went to a coffee shop that had a "Cuban" and a "Cafe con Miel". They were the best selling drinks at that shop. The Cuban is Espresso, sweetened condensed milk, and steamed milk. The Cafe con Miel is Espresso, honey, and steamed milk dusted with cinnamon. Would love to see these in the future! Otherwise, keep up the good work and I will look forward to continuing to come in.

Nice staff. Good iced coffee. Would have loved more than 1/2&1/2 as a milk choice. Good bagel. Good scone...lemony! More sound absorbing material could make it a little more enjoyable.

It's nearly impossible to find a good coffeehouse in the suburbs, especially one that stays open as late as Well and Good does. It's in a pretty good location, not far from Highway 99. The coffee they serve is great, as well as the other drinks they have. They've got a great selection of tea, and their pastries are always fresh. The baristas are super friendly, a couple of them really cute;) Parking is available, though two of their front spots are for takeout customers. The atmosphere inside is clean, friendly, and rustic. As an avid practitioner of the art of cafe sitting, Well and Good has quickly become my home base cafe. I recommend it to anyone searching for a great cafe without having to venture all the way downtown.

As a PNW native and avid coffee drinker, I frequently find myself in coffee shops. If you find yourself in Tigard and are looking for a great place to grab a cup of coffee, food, or just hangout in a nice cozy spot, then look no further. Well & Good had their grand opening just yesterday and the place looks great. I am lucky enough to know one of the managers there, Kristin, who also happens to be a fantastic barista so I have been anticipating the opening for a while now. They use Nossa Familia coffee, which is great since they have been known in Portland as a sustainable and ethical provider of great coffee. So to sum things up if you are looking for great coffee, great staff, and a great space to hangout in then come check out Well & Good.

Had an incredible latte there, hazelnut, and the ristroto, ristretto, risotto? Shots were delish and got me up and going. Definitely going to go there again, very reasonably priced as well.

Finally, a thoughtfully designed coffee house in the suburbs! I must admit that my opinion has changed drastically since they first opened. I'm glad I gave this place another try, or two. If you're familiar with the big coffee players in town, such as Barista, Coava, and Heart Coffee - you might be a bit disappointed. While not quite on caliber with the Portland Coffee scene, the service and decor certainly have a leg up. Recommendations for W&G - have baristas focus on the basics of coffee and tea. Paying especially close to temperature, tamping technique, and extraction time. It's easy to fix a mixed drink with milk or sugar, while an espresso is difficult to perfect. Solidifying a base can only elevate the other drinks.

The Well & Good Coffee House is an inviting and friendly space, perfect for studying or sharing delicious drink with a friend. The interior decor was lovely and it was very well lit inside. It did seem a bit cold at first, but perhaps this wouldn't be noticed as much with a warm drink in hand. The barista who helped us was very friendly and even offered to rinse out my reusable coffee cup. I explained that it was only 10 oz and it would be great if she could fill it up to the very top, since I had purchased a 12 oz drink. Sadly, upon receiving the drink, it was not filled up all the way, leading to fewer oz than I had paid for. The vanilla latte itself was very tasty. I had requested only one pump of vanilla, which was perfect. It was easy to taste the coffee flavor and avoided being overly sweet. The foam was delicious as well. They seem pretty basic in terms of drinks. No special syrups or unique house mochas, but their coffee is good, which is worth even more.

My first impression: nice size indoor and outdoor seating area, decor feels warm and inviting, not overly 'done'. Baristas were cheerful. Ordered Pumpkin Latte with half the syrup. I really appreciated the details listing what and qty included for each sizes to determine if I'd need to adjust the order. (Syrup, sauce, shots) My Latte was just perfect. I didn't realize this is what I was missing from Starbucks. I never got a creamy and delish latte like this! I would've like to seen more seasonal drinks but I'd rather have one done right then galore of options done mediocrely. Def going back to explore more from their menu. I'd be a converter for good if they have loyalty/reward card for repeat customers. It's what kept me going back Starbucks. ;) The only thing is front cafe parking is limited.

Great coffee shop!!! Excellent feel inside- cozy, plenty of seating, and an array of actually healthy food options! This type of option is much needed in the world of Starbucks n pre-packaged, unhealthy food options. Great views of trees out every window and incredibly friendly staff. Only challenge is parking, especially on weekdays.

Back when this building was Beveland Coffeehouse, the coffee was very disappointing. However, I hear Well & Good is a brand new business (though still a coffee house). The difference is like night and day: Well & Good's decor is vastly improved, layout is better, and the coffee is SO MUCH better. Not only do you get to enjoy better coffee and food, but the staff are more friendly and it's run as a non-profit, so proceeds go toward a good cause. Seems like a busy establishment already. I'm surprised how quickly they started generating a lot of business. How could it improve? The food seems a little spendy, but it IS very scrumptious and proceeds go to a good cause. So, it's tough for me to complain. My review will hover at 4 stars unless something magical and unexpected occurs (unicorn sandwiches, perhaps?). I don't take 5-star reviews lightly.

While the decor was nice, the staff was friendly and the place was kept clean, Well & Good seemed to fall short in all other categories. When I walked up to the counter and ordered a Cafe au Lait, the barista had no idea what it was and neither did the other barista on staff. I had to explain to them how to make a drink that's only coffee and steamed milk. I know this coffee shop is new and all, but did you not hire trained baristas? It's like going to a bar and ordering a margarita and having the bartender give you a blank stare. The drink was average. Though my pastry was good, they didn't have a great selection and I didn't get quite what I wanted. Perhaps it was because I came later in the morning and they were out of some things? When I looked at the website before my visit I was excited about some of their food items, but when I got there and saw that they were pre-packaged and what the prices were, there was no way I was going to pay that much money for a sandwich that's been sitting there for hours. I can pay less and get a freshly-made sandwich at a deli. During my research online before my visit, I noticed that they tout themselves as a non-profit coffee shop. And while they listed their business partners on the site, it made no mention of where the profits were actually going, which seems kind of shady. Perhaps it's because the money is going to some mega-church like Solid Rock and not directly back into the community or some other charity? Whenever I've visited other non-profit coffee shops and restaurants in Portland, they're always very clear about where your money is going. All Well & Good's website provides is a generic mention of "non-profits". I love trying new coffee shops in the Portland area, but this one was a miss.

This place is great! The only downside is it is very busy being one of the only coffee or food spots in the area of several business parks, which means it is very busy. Good coffee, chai and a variety of treats and meals. But don't stay here. Just come grab and go so that I can sit near the cozy fireplace alone with my coffee and scone. ;)

Coffee tasted burned, not even the milk in the latte was enough to mitigate the awful taste. Coffee should be smooth on the palate and not leave that disgusting 'coffee mouth' after drinking!

I have had their coffee a few times and its amazing and the staff are friendly! :) And they have an amazing spot for wi-fi and an outside patio! If they had wine, I would never leave to go home!

Recent Portland transplant. great staff, super attentive, awesome pumpkin spiced latte. Came early morning and it was super busy but didn't feel like it.plenty of space, comfy seating, and super fast internet. May end up becoming my new place to visit often.

If either you live in the area or driving through, Well & Good is a place you have to go! I got a solo espresso & the taste was rich and savory. The atmosphere of the shop is welcoming, comforting & feels like home... Instantly feels like you belong.

What can I say? After moving to Lake Oswego from Portland's Pearl District over 2 years ago I have yet to find the replacement neighborhood coffee shop I've been looking for, until now! A friend told me about Well & Good a few weeks ago and I've come at least weekly if not multiple times per week, since my first stop in. Definitely yelp-worthy with top stars for their service, yummy food, and of course awesome coffee. I am a mocha fan but I actually love the house coffee here. It's not too bitter but still has a kick that will wake you up in the morning (or afternoon). They are open late to serve a variety of schedules and no matter when I come in everyone is so friendly. Great atmosphere too. Owner by a non-profit organization with funding and support from a local church in Tigard and other organizations on mission for Jesus and to help make a difference in the Tigard community. Their mission of human interaction and connection really makes you feel welcome and loved. They don't cram religion down your throat here but I definitely do feel good vibes every time I'm in. I think a lot of the baristas are volunteers as well. It feels good to come and spend money for a good cause and get great coffee too. There are multiple internet hot spots here and the internet is fast and reliable. They welcome me working here during the day for hours at a time, and I'm pretty sure they would be welcoming to have me stay until they close if I needed to. Tip - There is a dollar charge for credit cards.

Stumbled upon this hidden gem as I was waiting for my dog at the groomer. It's an awesome coffee shop with great service and tasty food. I found a table to sit at and get to work, meanwhile enjoying the music and an iced chai latte. This place might just have to become a regular stop for me, it's too good to just go once. Great atmosphere!

Coffee was fine. The seating situation was ok too, but the entire half an hour-ish I was there I couldn't connect to their internet. So, it looks like I'm still in search for a good coffee shop for studying...

This is a great spot for a well made espresso drink, a freshly baked pastry, and a nice place to relax and enjoy a book or a chat with friends. The staff has been very friendly every time I've been here. The store is very cute and very clean. Being a barista myself, I have to say they do a wonderful job of crafting a delicious coffee beverage.

I live near this coffee shop and use to frequent it when under previous ownership. I think the new place/new owner is great! I like how they changed the layout and even if I hadn't known it before, I still think it's pretty spacious yet cozy for a coffeehouse. The coffee is great...wouldn't expect less since this is Portland. I had the breakfast burrito (egg whites and veggies) and it was pretty darn good. The best thing is, they are open 7 days a week until 11pm. I'm a med student and I'm sure there are other students in the area. It's nice to finally have a study space that is walking distance from home. Good job guys! This place is very needed!

Awesome staff, atmosphere, coffee, and food. What more could you ask for? This place has a really nice look and feel to it. Between the interior design ie furniture chairs etc and the food, this place is definitely an awesome finding. Ps the chicken pesto panini is bursting with amazing flavor and is definitely not overpowered by the pesto

Great little place - but why is Blondie blasting out of the speakers and onto the otherwise-idyllic outdoor patio? It'd be a great place to relax except for the loud Blondie concert. Ruins the experience - turn it off!

I love this coffee shop. Really nice roomy and relaxing atmosphere and it is open late. I went in for coffee but got soup that was homemade to top it off. It is a new hang out for me. If you are from Lake O or Tigard, you now have someplace to go that is actually open late.

Awesome little coffee shop, and I am so glad it is near my office! My Iced Vanilla Latte was perfect and my husband's white mocha was according to him, the best he had. I love how they have decorated the place. Super cozy. Definately a great place to study or meet with clients and get some work done if you need to get out for a bit! I will definately be coming back and recommending this to everyone I know. Can't wait to try the food!

  • Winnie F.

I don't even know if this is owned by the same owner as the previous establishment anymore-so I will just rate it as if it's brand new. It was all right. The decor is cute, nice comfortable area for all the employees in the area to come hang out, have a discussion, be on their laptops. The staff cannot move the line fast enough- which is very important when at least half of your customers are professionals in the neighborhood! Still got a few kinks to work out in terms of food delivery...cashier forgot to hand me my pastry and the barista thought the cashier already gave it to me.

  • Matthew S.

Chairs v comfortable, great wi-fi and clean. Coffee is OK but not great. Other issue is no urinal.....means lots of hanging around cross legged, waiting for the guy ahead to wipe the seat or finish reading the paper as he goes about the business.

  • Sabrina M.

It wasn't bad, but it wasn't good. The bacon in the breakfast burrito tasted a little...off. Maybe it was vegetarian bacon, but either way it wasn't cooked all the way. I ended up scraping it off. The red pepper sauce was delicious though, and I would eat it on any sandwich. The coffee was ok, not the best I've ever had, but certainly not the worst. It was perfectly average. The staff was friendly and helpful and I received my food and drink in a timely manner. I will probably try another place if I am in the area again.
